No Place Like Home~

Hello Ladies~

Hope I find you all well.
I am excited as I am off to Port Sunlight for some Retail Therapy this Saturday. I am lacking a bit in funds (Harrogate Show two weeks ago, I did spend a bit too much!!) but I love this show as there are lots of Demo's going on and it's nice just to be amongst other crafters. There are about 8 of us going together, so I predict FUN!

I have a House Warming card to show you today. I have made this for one of my Daughter's friend's.

I have used one of the images from a LOTV Art Pad I think this little door is so cute and just right for a house warming card.
The papers are from a Prima Pad, the little lazer cut bike is from my stash as are the flowers. The tiny flowers are by Anna Marie Designs and the bigger rose is Hobby House.

I would like to entering this card into the following challenges:

Cute Card Thursday--Floral

Crafts for Eternity--Anything Goes

Crafty Sentiment Designs--Spring

Kaboodle Doodle--Dreaming of Spring

PolkaDoodles--Spring is in the Air

Sketch & Stash--Use LOTV stash

Mother's Day this Weekend~

Hello Girlies~

Angie and I had a very successful "Early Easter/Spring Fair" yesterday. The turn out of people buying could have been better (as it was a nice day, maybe people went further afield ) but those that did come seemed to be spending, and I am pleased to say, they seemed to like our items. That's good news for us, make's all the hard work worth it....and it's more dosh to spend this weekend at the brilliant "Happy Stamper Show" at Port Sunlight Liverpool.
Unfortunately if you would like to go to PS at the weekend it is a ticket only show, no payment on the door, they usually sell out of tickets pretty early too, but you could always check out "Happy Stamper Show" and see if there are any tickets left, it's a great show and I have a list building already!!

I have a couple of Mother's Day things to show you today. I made these for yesterday's Fair.
I have not made my MiL or Mum any of these, I have other nice goodies for them.

I have wanted to make little T Light boxes for a while now and I found a great tutorial on the web from a lovely lady who is a Stampin' Up member, it's a great tutorial and you can find it here.

I have used Anna Marie Design dotty cardstock, her card is lovely and comes in lots of different colours, she does stripy card too!  The little tag is one of my Die Namic dies sets (love these, there are four tags in all and this one is the smallest), the ribbon is from my stash. These boxes look really small, yet they hold 12 small (Asda's own) tea lights.
Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy!!

A Stitch in Time.......

Hi Ladies~
Hope I find you all well.

Can you believe it's Saturday again!
So....that means Challenge Time at Sweet Stampin'. This week it's one of my favourites "Doodles"...
I do love a bit of Doodling me!
Another favourite of mine are our Sponsors for this week "The Hobby House". I know the owner Jill of The Hobby House personally and have shopped with her for a number of years now, Jill's products are Superb and I am a big fan of her Gems, how nice that they are our sponsors. Go on have a go at our Challenge and win something super off Jill.

I have made a few note cards for my Mother-In Law's "Mother's Day Present" (along with a sweet box to put them in). She loves her "Snail Mail" and every now and then I make her a set.

This little card is one of the 12 I did. The images are all SN and I have used 6 of them. This one's name is "Stitch", I also stamped "True Love", "Pick Me", "Choose", "Wish" and "Time Flies". They are all so nice.
I have coloured with Pro-Markers, the script paper is a leftover from my box, the Sentiment is a LOTV and the Gems are of course The Hobby House.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge (Film, Song or Book Theme)

Hello All.

It can't be another Saturday already.....Stop the world I want to get off!!
Seriously each month seems to fly by, the next quicker than the one before.
Next weekend I am off with my friend (and partner in crime!) to Harrogate GNPE craft show. Ooo I cannot wait, I love it there, and Angie and I will be doing our usual stop over, so we can go to the show twice (we are a bit greedy like that!!). It's called getting your money's worth!!

So....it's Saturday which means another "Great" challenge over at Sweet Stampin'.
This week it's "A film, Song or Book theme"....Great one this, you will always find something to fit with your card, so go ahead and have a go.
Our Sponsors this week are Cuddly Buddly.
I have chosen this gorgeous little image by Wild Rose Studio's called Birthday Girl. I have chosen the theme of a Song and chose the Blink 182 song "All the Small Things", thought it matched this wee girl perfectly!

I have used a sheet of Carte Bella "Traditions" paper in blue and cream, the script paper is from my bit box. The little sentiment is by Personal Impressions. The image is coloured with Pro-Markers and the little flowers are cut from a flower punch but not sure what make it is. The corners are from a Whiff of Joy die.

Vintage Pram~

Hi Girlies~

Can you believe it's Friday again......I honestly can't tell where one day starts and one day ends at the moment, it's scary!!
A big thank you for all your lovely comments, it's always so nice to read your views.

I have had a few orders this week from my Daughter's lovely Work Friends.
One wanted a Mother's Day card and the other a Christening Card, so it's the latter I am showing you first.

Sorry there is a shine from the photo, but I left the card in the Cello bag and forgot to photograph it out of it.

I started with an 8x8 card and used a sheet of this gorgeous Kaiser Kraft Bundle of Joy paper.
The image of the Vintage pram is already printed on it.
I then PC generated the Sentiment and used a Calico Crafts Doily behind it. The right hand top corner is cut with a MS corner Punch and the left corner has a Whiff of Joy die cut corner in it. I have also used a couple of Hobby House pearls and a little date stamp on the pram banner.

An easy card to make, with no stamping, but that was the brief and I am quite happy with the outcome. Not my usual style, but enjoyed doing it anyway.

B&W Thank you's...

A big Hello Girlies~

I am back in one piece from my Benidorm trip (minus my voice. All the Singing, Laughing, drinking and Karaoke).....Oh dear perhaps that's too much information!!
Anyway, I am slightly embarrassed to say the dreaded "Flight" was not as bad as I had thought, well at least the Going one wasn't, had a tad of turbulence and a dodgy landing coming back....but here I am and raring to go.
The whole trip was brilliant and my Sister was Soooooo excited to see me. She kept looking at me and saying "Cannot believe you are on MY FLIGHT" (neither cud I.) LOL
A good time was had by all.

Sorry about the dreadful photo!!

I have some Thank You cards to show you today. I made these for my Daughter to say Thank You for the lovely gifts she received for her Engagement a couple of weeks ago.
As her whole theme was B&W  I stayed with this for these 5x5 cards.
The Sentiment are from a set by LOTV. These stamps are fantastic and have little circle sentiments and then lots of little sayings to pop in the middle, In this case that was the "For your lovely Gift", but there are a lot of other sayings.
Everything else is cut with a Nestie and I kept them simple as I made about 35 of them to make. All finished with a touch of Doodles!
