Crafting and keeping Warm~


Hi Girls~
Hope you are all well and staying warm, think the cold weather is waiting around the corner, it's just hiding there waiting to pounce when we least expect it.....

I was selling at an Autumn Craft Fair yesterday, and I am pleased to say it was a great success. Angie and I did really well (more money to spend on our next lot of crafting goodies!)

I am off to try to make more things now, as our next sale is just round the corner!

I have yet another Christmas Card to share with you today, I am making lots of other things, but just have not had time to take any photo's to show you, hope to do it soon.
So today's card. This is a new style for me, never made anything like this before. But I was quite pleased at how it turned out.

 
The "Parchment" looking paper is Vellum by Anna Marie, it's very thick and has a beautiful feel. My friend Angie bought this vellum and kindly (she's like that!) gave me a load of sheets, I decided to have a go with the new embossing folder I bought last weekend, Christmas Birds and Twigs, so sweet. The Sentiment is LOTV (new and very nice) the ribbon is Mei Flowers (I have this in green too) and a few Hobby House pearls.

    Such an elegant beauty. Thank you for your kind comment. It's nice to know I'm not alone in my feeling. Mac is very clever and extremely hard working. . Then some of the kids who mess about constantly and are at the bottom for everything have passed. Where's the fairness in that. Sorry for going on

    Wow! This is beautiful! That vellum really embossed so nicely! Unfortunately, the CSAYL "Simply Christmas" challenge was to use NO embellishments, not even ribbon. :(
    Beautiful card, though. And I am going to have to try embossing on vellum. Thanks for the idea!

    Aww this is gorgeous Debbie, I love the embossing and the vellum paper .. looks so elegant. Thanks for stopping by today. Yes I was really disappointed I didn't get my prize and this happened once before too from another challenge :( You asked me about the snow pen. It says on it 'Snow Marker' and 'Paper and Fabric Embellishing' 3mm. You just shake it up and press on the card for the liquid to come out and then heat it up. The snow will then puff up! I can't remember however from where I bought it, sorry, but could be Joanna Sheen! Hugs xx
