Thank You~

Hi Ladies,
Hope I find you all well and you are having a nice weather like we are. Today was frosty to start off with, but as the day went on I opened up the windows and it was really quite warm.

I have a thank you card to show you today.

I have used leftover papers from my bit box, a LOTV sentiment, some Paper Artsy Ribbon, bling from Hobbyhouse and a Elusive Flower Image, which I have stamped and embossed.

Water Colour Flowers~

Hi Girls~
Hope I find you all well. It's a bit cold here, had a flurry of snow but it did not stick thank goodness.

I had an order off my Daughter's work friends for Mother's Day cards and as they wanted six I have been busy trying to make them all a bit different from each other.

One of the theme's I did was from seeing a gorgeous card made by Anne at Wicked Designs blog. She had a link to Splitcoast Stampers for the tutorial on how to do this great "Chopped" up Square Card image........Isn't it unusual?

Sorry about the terrible photo, light was just awful, couldn't take any good pictures today!

I thought it was going to be soooooo hard to do, but I was very surprised at just how Simple it was. I managed to make two of these cards in under 40 minutes.
It was a great technique to do if you have Tim Holtz Distress Markers as you can do the "Straight to Stamp" technique and get such a nice watercolour style image.
I used Tim's Markers straight on the stamp and stamped onto the stacked up card squares (as in the tutorial), I don't know what the name of this stamp is, It does not have the name on it, and as I bought it off a friend I don't know anything about it.
The papers are Tim Holtz the gems are Hobbyhouse and the Sentiment is pc generated.
Very simple but I think quite lovely.

Special Lady~

Hello Girls~
It's Saturday, so that means a New lovely Challenge over at Sweet Stampin'.
As it's only several days off "Mothers Day", the theme this week is "Special Lady"/Mothers Day.
Our Sponsor this week is Kobie's Online Shop, go take a look.

I have used this sweet little cat image (not sure if it's a LOTV. I have had it stamped out for ages and not used it).

The papers are from MME 6x6 pad called "Baby Mine". I have used my Pro-Markers to colour.
The swirl die is a Marrianne, the Sentiment is from Craftwork Cards, the ribbon is from Paper Artsy and the pins/pearls are Hobbyhouse.

Mini Recipe Book~

Hello You lovely Ladies~

Another glorious day Weather Wise here (unfortunately it won't last) so I have made the most of it today. My friend Christine and I went for a lovely walk as well as doing some Food Shopping.

Well today I have one of my little Note Books to show you. I have made several of these and have had a great time making them. The Zutter Bind it all Machine is a joy to use and you can make a little book in next to no time. The binding looks so professional too.

The papers used are K&co, and I have decoupaged a couple of the flowers and butterflies.
The Recipe sentiment is made using a set of Anna Griffin Alphabet stamps.

Big Baloon~

Hi Girls~
Gosh what a totally gorgeous day, weather wise. It is sooooo nice to have it a little warmer for once.

I have been making a few little "Note Books" the last couple of weeks. I have recently bought (from a friend) a Zutter Bind It All Machine and It is really great. I have made several books including one for my Mother-in-Law's Birthday (April) and one for my Sister's (In 4 days time).
I have been buying proper book covers, to use for the books I have been making, but after watching people making Mini Books on Youtube I have seen that any decent weight card, board, and packaging will work fine, and you can then cut them to size.

Anyway onto today's card. (I will show you my Books at a later date when I have decorated them)
This card is made with another of my Saturated Canary Digi images.

How sweet is she? I have chosen to colour her pink and green again! I have a few new paper pads and quite alot of the papers are these colours. Hopefully my next cards might have a different colour scheme....but No promises!

Me and My Lovely Sister~

Hello Ladies~

Hope I find you all well and looking forward to the Weekend, it's quite nice weather here at the moment, cold but dry and that's better than the "White Stuff" Yak!!

I have had another little spend this week (Omg, I keep saying enough is enough but my brain does not seem to do what my gob says!!)
So my purchase was a pad of Stampin' Up paper. If you have never tried the papers from here you must as they are such nice quality and the patterns are suitable for cards and Scrapbook Pages.
The papers I have bought are from the "Design Series Pattern Stack in Neutral and Regal colours".

So onto tonight's project.
I have a Scrapbook page to show you featuring Me and My Lovely Sister Mandy. It was taken about 8 years ago at Centre Parks and is one of my favourite photo's of us together. I think we were a bit "Squiffy" on it. I cropped the photo down a bit and did actually cut off the two pints of Lager that were sitting in front of us!! Lol

I have a mix of papers, both new and from my leftover stash. The new ones are by Carta Bella, as are these lovely stickers, all from the "Alphabet Junction" collection. I have also used a Sizzix Tag Die, and a Die-Namic's Star Die. I just love all these colours together, so bright and cheerful, just like the trip I spent with my Sister and Family.
I also used a tiny little "Windmill" die which was also from Stampin' Up. I usually just make these myself with a square of card cut from each point to the centre and folded in, but this tiny die is just so cute and easy to use.

The KeyKeeper~

Hi Girls~
OMG we had loads of "The White Stuff" this morning, but glad to see the rain this afternoon (not stopped actually since about 1pm and still raining now!) anyway it has now washied all the snow away. Good!

How lucky am I.
I have had another challenge Win, this time at one of my Favourite Challenge blogs Passion for Pro-Markers. Thank you so much girls, looking forward to receiving my set of pens.

Well since the Snow has kept me indoors I have had a play and come up with a little ATC.
I love this little "Keykeeper Monster" by Stampotique. I have used him in the past to paper piece, coloured in and in this case just stamped in Black Soot and left alone. Is he cute or what?

The KeyKeeper Monster by Stampotique~

I have used some white cardstock which I have covered in some Tim Holtz Tissue Tape and this one is the French Words. The swirl is a Sizzix die, the pearls are Hobbyhouse. The trim/fibres are from  the Blonde Moments company.

Tag Tuesday~

Hello Girls~
A Big Thank You for the lovely comments you have left for me, they are always so lovely and mean such alot. Welcome my New Followers too, how nice of you to join me!

So after a busy morning I have had a couple of hours play this afternoon.
I decided (after seeing the lovely May's blog this morning)  to make another Big Tag (love making these) and enter it into the Tag Tuesday Challenge. The letter for this weeks Tag is F.
I chose F--Face.
Thank you for the inspiration May.

This Hampton Art Stamp called Diffusion is the oldest stamp I own, it was probably the first stamp I ever bought, back in, oh hec....about 2003!
I still like this stamp alot and although I have not used her for ages, when I do use it i am always happy with how my project turns out.
I have made my own Kraft card Tag, it is covered in Tim Holtz wording tissue paper and then inked with pink and yellow. The flowers and Matt for image are cut from a sheet of WRMK paper called Love to Craft. The flower is a Fun Stamp called Dotty Flower (one I use all the time).
The leaves are a Memory Box die, and the Swirl is a Magnolia. The "Soul" saying is one of Dylan's Dylusions stamps.

Valentines Day Card~

Hi Girls~

Once I had been for a walk with my lovely Friend Christine and then did a bit of Yakky housework,
I  had a crafty play while I watched last weeks Dallas. Oh how I have missed Dallas from the 80's, I used to love it and love it now all over again.
The card I have to show you today is not the card I made this afternoon, this is one I made a few weeks ago, it's a "Valentine's Card" I made for my lovely Hubby Chris.
I don't make any other Valentine cards unless someone asks me for one, but I always make one for my Chris.
I have used this fab LOTV image which has always been one of my favourites. Love the way it's taken with the images back's to us. I have used this stamp in the past just stamped in black, embossed with clear powder and just left uncoloured, looks great. The papers are Bo-Bunny (love collection).
The image is coloured with Pro-Markers, the ribbon is from the Eastern Indian Company and the Sentiment is LOTV too.

Spring? No not yet!!

Hello Again Girls~
I am rushing around getting all my jobs done as it's "rugby" and more rugby again today (yipee).
Last weekend when it was on I managed to get my jobs done in about an hour!! Normally it takes me about 3 so don't know what speed I was on but it wasn't SLOW!! I was like a Mad Woman!
It's amazing what you can do when you want to do something else after it, isn't it?

So, I want to show you yet another "Pink and Green" card (Sorry, cannot help it,) I just love these two colours together, they are so sunny and bright.

The image is a Digi from Saturated Canary (I bought 6 altogether and they were all £2 each, so I thought that was really good. Don't think they are any of the New images, but I don't have any, so they are all new to me!). I have used my Pro-Markers to colour, although I am not happy with my hair colouring, I really must get myself on youtube and have a look at the tutorials. The flowers and leaf are Nellie Snellen (not used these for ages), pearls are Hobbyhouse and the Sentiment is a Hero Arts set called Spring Borders. Papers are all gdc, think it's the Spring Set.

I am going to keep this card to give to my Sister, it's her Birthday at the end of February.

Sweet Stampin' DT Card

Hi Ladies
Yet again it's a Saturday, the weeks are flying by again, February 9th already!

This weeks challenge over at Sweet stampin' is Pearls and Swirls. Oh I love Pearls and Swirls, if you do, get yourself over and join in our challenge. Our Sponsors this week are Bunny Zoe.

I have made this card for the challenge using my "Free" magazine stamp again.
The papers are all leftover bits n' bobs from my stash, pearls are Hobbyhouse, this super flower is made with a Die-Namic die as are the leaves and the sweet little Bunting in the corner.
The swirl is a Magnolila Die.

I have got to make a few "Hen Night" invites soon, and i thought this image would be perfect.
I have sent the person I am making them for an example, so see if she likes this wee girl with her party frock in and her cocktail in hand!!

I have had a little Spend...Shush...

Hi Girls~

I have been very lucky this week to have Won on Two Challenges entered.
Creative Inspirations is the first, where I have chosen some lovely Pearls as a prize.
I also won over at StuckOnUSketches with My Scrapbook Layout, the one I made featuring "Scoot" my Son's "Rat".
Ah! I knew she was Beautiful and that people would just love her gorgeous face!!
Thank you to both Blogs for such great Challenges.

So after a busy morning cleaning (Yak!) I have made a few cards using all my "Brand New Images."
I had a spend on Saturated Canary last night and bought 6 Digi Images, and then at lunchtime my lovely Postman brought me two Stamping Bella stamps I had bought from Quixotic Paperie. They sent my order in lightning quick time, so many thanks ladies.

This is what I came up with today.
I used a Stamping Bella image called Uptown Girls "Victoria & Juliette's Night Out".
I saw this image a few months ago on a sample card in Samuel Taylors Shop at Skipton, however they had sold out of the stamp and after that I couldn't find it anywhere else....'Till now!
Glad I did find it isn't it so sweet? It would fit well for any "Girly" Birthday for a friend.

So the papers are all leftover bits from my box, Sentiment came with the stamp, large green flower is Craftwork cards and small cerise flower is Hobbyhouse, as are the pearls. Image is coloured with Pro-Markers and I have added some Stardust Stickles to the dresses and flower.

Twinkle Tag!!

Hi Girls~

Another nice day here, looks like me missed the snow (but don't tell anyone!)
Only 9 miles away they had it, so don't know how come we missed out, but glad we did. I know the snow is nice, but just to look at, not to get about in!

So today I got up early and did a few jobs. Got more to do after lunch , but had a play while watching a craft outlet on QVC.
This is what I came up with for the latest Stampotique Challenge.
I have made another Tag today and have used a Stampotique Wooden Stamp.
I love these quirky (sometimes scary!) wooden stamps. This one is one of my favourites I think he is called "Twinkle" but not sure!

All I know is he is so funny with his little arms outstretched. I decided I would make him look like he was saying "I Love You This Much!".
I added a Nestie double heart, a torn heart, a few hobbyhouse pearls and some lovely Paper Artsy Ribbon. The paper is a leftover bit, the image is coloured with Tim Holtz Distress Markers.

YeeHa~

Hello Ladies~
Hope I find you all well.
No "Snow" here yet, but it's on it's way I am sure!!

I have two cards for you today. They are both made with very similar stamps from Sugar Nellie, in the "Cowboy theme".  I have had these stamps about a year now. The "Cowboy" has only been stamped once and the "American Indian" has  never been inked up, so I thought it was about time to give them some love! I then found the Challenge over at "Here Comes the Boys" this week and guess what it was....Westerns, so great one to enter them in.

Sorry for the dreadful photo, what am I like!!

The papers I have used are free from a magazine. The Stars are a Die-Namics die. (I am loving these, and have a few sets now).
I have also used Hobbyhouse Pearls and a metal charm. On the Indian card I have used a MS bubble edge punch. I have left them both Sentiment free (although there is space for one). My Daughter's workfriend has asked for some boy cards and she may like a certain sentiment or a name on, so I have left it for now.
The images are both coloured with Pro-Markers.

La La Land~

Morning Girls.
I was up early today, so had a little play before breakfast.
Nasty ironing and a bit of cleaning to do later!!

I have had this La La Land Image for about six months now. She has had one inking but she is so cute that I picked her out when I went through my cutie stamps.

I have used some gdc papers, and hobbyhouse gems and flowers. The Sentiment is from Inkadinkado. My image is coloured with Pro-Markers and the ribbon is just a piece of Dovecraft leftovers.

It's a MADHOUSE!!

Hi Ladies

A big thank you to all those who left me such lovely comments on my last post. I was quite surprised at how many of you were quite happy to see a "Rat" on my Scrapbook Page. Either that, or you were all just being kind and did not want to upset me! Ha, I know they are not everyone's idea of a pet for their child, but I can only tell you our story and how much fun my Children had and such love too.

Now, onto today's Title, If you are wondering about it, it's because my two are back from Skiing, and it is like a mad house here. Not only am I doing several wash loads, looking at 250 skiing photo's, making lunch and trying to blog!! It is so NOISY, why are they SO NOISY!! Can they not do anything without making a NOISE.
I have had such a  quiet week, it is going down bad!! Ha Ha.
It is lovely to have them home safe tho'.

Unfortunately their flight back was a nightmare, even the Aircraft Staff were upset, so you can imagine how I felt being THE WORST FLIER EVER!!
I wish they had not told me, I even had a nightmare about flying last night!!
I hate it with avengence, so I am well and truly put off by this latest experience by my Kids.

Ok onto my project for today, and once again it's a Big Tag. I am loving making these at the moment, so relaxing and easy to do.

I have used Pan Pastels in yellow and green for the background. These paints are brilliant as they are dry instantly, so nice and quick. The stamps are a mix of Tim's, and a few from my stash. I have used some string, ribbon and a charm to finish off.
