Love Bank Holiday Monday!!

Hi All,
I have had a lovely Bank Holiday Monday, hope you all have~

It could have started a bit better ~ My daughter was not feeling too well when she got up, and to make things worse she had to go off to work, fortunatly because she did not start until 1pm and she was up at 6am (feeling ill) she did have plenty of time to take painkillers and try to recover. Fortunatly before she went off to work she was starting to feel a bit better and did manage to stay all day...Great.

At 4pm my mum and nana came for their dinner with us, that was lovely. We had a roast Lamb dinner, with all the trimmings!...Delicious..Sorry to all vegetarians and lamb lovers...

This latest Easle card was made with an image from my friend Shelley, it'a a Leanne Ellis stamp, I think it's so sweet. I have a couple of these, but not this one, so thank you Shelley..
This card fit in with a couple of challenges: The Polycraft challenge wanted a "Hidden Message", (I did a little tab and held it down with a brad which could move away to reveal a message). The sketch is for Card Patterns, and Crafty Cardmakers asked for you to use two colours, one you like and one you don't, and for me this is Brown I do and Yellow I don't...Mind you now I have done it I quite like the Brown/Yellow combo.
I think I didn't like them together 'cos of the time I spent in the Brownies when I was 10 years old (not something I care to remember). Ha Ha!!!!!

Come on England!!

Hi All,
Now..I know I am a girl, BUT I am so excited about the World Cup starting in two weeks time (on the 11th June) that I could burst...WELL that was before I saw England play a friendly against Japan today...Yes JAPAN!!
It was almost as funny as last nights Eurovision.
The final score was England 2-1 Japan. I know what you are thinking, why was that funny, England won, I should be ecstatic...Well I am, but England DID NOT SCORE A GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thats right Tanaka from Japan scored two, one for each side, then Nakazawa of Japan did not want to be left out so he scored for us aswell!!!
I don't know if I can possibly stand much more fun like this!
One thing might happen in the World Cup, we might get through if everyone scores FOR us!!

Back to girly things now:
Hope you like my latest card, it is a while since I stamped my Anya, I love her and this is one of my favorites with the sunglasses, very summery.
I followed the challenge on Craft Challenge and it was Blue and Green theme, also Anyone for Anya and their Sketch, Stamptacular Sunday Challenge and Cupcake's summer challenge: All details of how to play below:

Can you hear me laughing?

Hi All,
I am laughing at the Eurovision Song Contest.
This is the first time I have watched it for about 5 years, It is so funny.
The second singer on was from Spain, half way through his song, a mad man got up out of the audience and started singing, dancing and generally causing a fuss on stage...I was almost crying laughing..
This show is priceless, especially with the whitt of Graham Norton.

Anyway no more laughing.
I have wanted to have a go at a Tent Card for ages, and when I saw on the Magnolia blog how to make one I thought I would have a go. It was easy once I had decided where all the tenty bits went!
I combined the challenge with a couple of others, and they are listed below:
I have used the nestability to cut out the window, and to also matt up the image. The image is a Penny Black, from a set I bought called "Make a Wish", it is so sweet and has a teddy bear, mice, flowers and of cause has the little Make a Wish sentiment. I have added a little "strawberry" charm for added texture. My flowers and leaves are made with a NS punch~

Thank You Teacher~

Hi All~

How nice is this...It was such lovely weather here today that Hubby and I had our lunch together.....OUTSIDE.
Friday is the day Hubby and I have lunch together, but having it outside as well was just the icing on the cake~~

As I am on a role at the mo, I have decided to do another paper bag gift today.
Last night I was really happy making the first one of these, a different kind of project to a card, I like all aspects of craft, not only cardmaking but Scrapbooking, ATC's and Boxes/Bags, so kept with the same theme for these next challenges.
Hope you like it. Papers are K&Co, image is Magnolia, border punch is MS and ribbon and tag is from my stash..

I have entered the Thank You Teacher challenge, the Hot and Spicy, Stitching, paper/tag and ribbon and even a sketch challenge. All details are below:

Pressy For My Mum~

Hi All~

I am watching The Final of American Idol while I am posting my latest creation!
It has been on since 9pm and is still on now, I am taking ages writing this out and watching at the same time. It has been on what seems like forever, week after week I have watched it and now it's nearly over. Finishes tonight at 11.10 GMT.

Anyway............
Tonight I have tried out a new craft...covering a brown paper lunch bag and making it into a gift bag. Cannot remember which blog I saw the demo for it, it was ages ago, but I roughly knew how to do it and actually it was quite easy.

It's my lovely mum's birthday in June, and I am getting her some tree's for her newly refurbished (if thats the right words to say about it ) garden~
But..I also want to get her a small personal pressy just for her and it is going in this bag..Hope she likes it, and what I eventually put in it.
These bags were from a local shop, and were only a £1 for 10, what a bargain.
I covered them in Basic Grey papers, have used my new Woodware punch for the big flower and leaf, the border is made with the giant MS punch. I have cut three layers in the Nestabilities, for Tilda and she is coloured using Pro-Markers.
Pearls were added and ribbon from my stash, I have inked the edges of all the papers with Tim Holtz distressed inks.
Challenges this bag fits in with are:

Lilac distressed Flowers~~

Hi All~

Decided to do a bit of distressing this afternoon, and even though I used these flowers on the last card, I wanted to see if I could make them look different on this card...I think I did!

I have just bought this lilac Tim Holtz ink, so thought I would have a go with this too.
I have stamped and embossed the flower image, then matted up on DCWV Latte stack, I have distressed the edges by sanding them with a paper file.
I have chosen the script in the cuttlebug embossing folder and matted this aswell.
I have followed the sketch on Truly Scrumptious and this asked for 5 embellishments, hence the 5 flowers. Four are cut with a NS punch including the leaves, and the other is from my stash, I wrapped ribbon round to give it some dimention.

Entered into the following challenges:

Get Well Soon Flowes~~

Hi All~

Well a bit of a dull day this afternoon turned out to be, but perfect for my hubby to start his hanging baskets, cannot wait to see them when they start to bloom, he's a whizz at gardening, how lucky am I?
So flowers in the gardeen (soon) and flowers on my latest card!!

This is my new stamp, it's one of the Crafty Individual stamps. I have a few of these, one with houses on, one with tree's and a bird, they are really nice. Hope you like it...
Wanted to enter the cupcake challenge and that meant doing Monochrome, well that and a splash of another colour. Did a challenge like this just recently, and I enjoyed that, so decided to have another go, and to use my new stamp.
The black flower border is a rub on, and the pointed border is a MS punch.
Think the gingham paper is Bo Bunny, I have used black mirror board for matting.
Challenges below:

Someone Special~~

Hi All,
Hope you are all enjoying this fabulous weather we are getting, make the most of it, knowing us here, it may not last!! Hopefully it will though.

My latest card is made with a stamped image off Shelley, but I am not 100% sure what she is called, but she is quite Manga like isn't she? I like her alot and Shelley also let me stamp her frineds who look like her, so I will have a go with them later on.
I am entering a couple of challenges especially the one over at Passion for Pro Markers. I entered this fab challenge again, as I won top 5 with them last week and because their latest give away for entering is incredible, go take a look...
Pro Markers used on this card are: Cocktail Pink, Pastel Pink, Ivory, Tan, Caramel, Vanilla and Satin.

Summer is here at last~

Hi All,
Second posting of the evening, obviously my "chopped off" finger is healing nicely!!
To be honest, it is soar and a bit of a dark colour, but it has not really stopped me crafting. Must admit the sausage size finger bandage is a bit of a hinderance though!!

Wanted to make a card using the new Tilda stamp Shelley lent me (thank you Shell). This Tilda is so sweet, and because Magnolia Stamp Lovers want a card about summer, I thought this image was quite summery~

I have used papers from my new Basic Grey Lemonade pad, this really is nice paper, and I followed the Sketch on the Sketch Saturday.
Did think about adding a couple of flowers, but not sure it needed it, I have added some pink brads and a border from the same paper pack, but thats about it. Plain but simple, and liked this PINK theme!

Cut Finger Card!!

Hi All~

Well here it is...The card that cost me a finger!! Well part of it, well a slither of it~
I am not 100% sure it was worth it, but it's made anyway. Ha Ha!
I love these little images From Greeting Farm, they have the two images on and the flower I have used plus a couple of lovely sentiments including this one I have used. I stamped the flower several times and on the bottom part of the card I decoupaged it up.
I made an Easle card for the Anya Ink challenge, I also entered it for the Anyone for Anya challenge. Details below of all other challenges this card fit in with.

These blue papers are from the new Tim Holtz Vintage Shabby pad, they are really nice, not just papers, borders ATC sides and 6x6 squares, really clever.
Hope you like it.

OH NO!!

Hi All,
I had a lovely day yesterday. My neice was 21 and I went to my sisters house in the afternoon for a Garden Party...It was lovely. Not only the company but the beautiful weather.

UNFORTUNATLY the day before (Friday night at midnight to be precise), I almost cut my finger off using the knife and ruler I have used for the last two years!!

I know I am a bit sad, but thought I would show you a picture of what I had to do in order to craft again today, as you can see I had to bandage it up like a big fat sausage!!
Ha Ha, I promise it is not quite as bad as It looks, but I cut through the finger and right through the nail, so now I have to wait 'till the bit of nail falls off, or it decides to mend back together. You can even see on the photo where I almost went across the next finger too. I went to bed in agony, but it feels better today.
I was so cross when I did it, so I never got round to finishing my just started card.
After I have rested my hangover in the sun, I will back on line and post the now finished card~

Wedding Daze~~

Hi All~

Thought I would post a card before I go off to bed, up early for work in the morning, so need my 7 hours if possible!!
This image of Tilda is one of my friend Shelley's, she let me stamp her Tilda's yesterday, I was in my element with all those lovely beauty's.

These lovely papers are Basic Grey's Lemonade pad, they are so sweet. I have used the Aqua colour for the colour create challenge, and the wedding image for the paperplay challenge, also entered the charisma card challenge for 3d, and the sketch from card patterns, all details are below:

My Eve and her boyfrined Sean~

Hi All~

Sorry but I am not posting a card this afternoon, might have time to put one on later.
I have decided to give you all little look at the Scrapbook pages I am working on for my daughter Eve and her boyfriend Sean. They have just come back from their first holiday together as a couple.. They went to Egypt and I think you will agree with me when you see some of the scenery pictures that where they were is very nice indeed.
This photo however was taken by a hoiday maker, they do look like they have had a busy day SUNBATHING, they are like two lobsters!!

I adore Scrapbooking, and using these fantastic "almost done for you" papers by Prima make it a joy to do. This paper is called "Because".
Sometimes you just want the picture to look simple and not messed about with, so these papers are perfect for this. All I have done is matted the photo, used stickles on the flowers and made a couple of flowers with a NS punch.
Voila~~how easy was that....
Hope you like it~

Sorry you are not well~

Hi All~

What a brilliant day, cannot believe how sunny and hot it was, I have been to the Retreat (allotment) for three hours digging and weeding, and I have actually caught the sun on my neck!!
Please more days like that.....

I have made a man's card tonight, but am now off Scrapbooking my daughters holiday photo's in a mo, I will hopefully share some of them with you should you like to see some!
This card has my FREE dog stamp on, It was on the front of a cardmaking magzine about three months ago. The papers are MME, I printed the Man's best friend sentiment on the PC and the Get Well sentiment is from a Kanban.

Round and Round~

Hi All~
Can I say sorry for the photo, don't know why it looks so insipid, it's quite purple, but looks a bit wishy washy~
Well good start to the week for me I am glad to say.
I have been to my monthly craft meeting called Cut and Chat (yes...there is a lot of chat goes on!, but thats good!) Where 8 to 10 ladies meet up, craft and drink coffee/tea for two hours, it is bliss...What more could you want, good company and craft.

When I got home I was desperate to make a card, as at the group I was Scrapbooking my daughters Egypt holiday photo's.
Anya was on the books tonight. This is not a stamp I have, a friend stamped her for me, she is lovely isn't she? Not sure what her name is, I like the way she has a little apron on...cute!

I wanted to do a circle easle card, as the Anyone for Anya challenge said NO SQUARE cards~~
That one always throws me, as I am a 6x6 girl...but I was quite pleased with the finished result, what do you think?

Not sure who makes this purple circle paper as It was a piece I had left over.
I decided to stamp flowers onto it and cut them out, I then added glossy accents to the centre of them.
A MS punch was used for the border, I have also used the oval Nestie around Anya, and the ribbon is so sweet, pale lilac dotty, bought from the internet.
Voila~

Challenges this card fits too:

Black and White and a touch of colour~~

Hi All~

Well weekend nearly over, and a new week on it's way, hopefully it will be a nicer week for me...please!

A gorgeous day here, not hot but sunny and warm, hope this is the start of our summer coming, hurry up!!

Today's card is made for the MDUC challenge, as I wanted to use this lovely image of Tilda. I love the way she looks like she is hanging, it means you can put a ribbon across the top and have her hanging from it. Their challenge is Black and white and another colour.
I have also joined in the Totally Gorjuss challenge as that was round and round, add circles to your card.

Over the next few weeks I will be working on pages for my daughters Holiday Scrapbook. She has just got back from Egypt and her photographs are lovley. I will be working on that as well as cardmaking, so please forgive me if I don't post as often as usual.

Pink for the Girls!!

Hi All~

After a horror of a day, I have finally been able to sit and relax with some time to craft..
I was hoping the latest Just Magnolia challenge was going to be something I could join in, so was very pleased when I found out it was..
The beautiful Tilda is once more out and about, this wee sitting Tilda (not sure of her real title!) Is one of my favorites, she's so cute, with that great big bow on her hat!

I bought this paper last week at the craft show and it's really nice. It is doublesided, but unlike other papers I have which have plain or conrasting reverse sides, this has the exact same pattern but in black and white, really unusual. It's by Bo Bunny and I have just realised it's called
'Back to Backs' (hence the same pattern on either side...) Hopefully I will be able to use the reverse side in a future card.
Entered into the following challenges:

Chloe on a Swing~

Hi All~
Just a quick posting before I go off to watch TV with Hubby.

I just had to use my newly won stamp, I could not wait any longer (she only came in the post at lunch time) but, I just had to use it.. isn't she sweet?
She is Chloe on a Swing!
In the end I had stamped her twice, so thought, Oh go on then, do two cards at the same time.
I have entered a couple of challenges with these. One of which is Brown and ?
So I have chosen Brown and cream.
I might have a go at decoupaging her, and stamping her on pattern paper so she has a pattern dress, quite fancy doing that. Not tonight though, thats me finished for now.
I am a bit tired after being at the allotment, so a rest with a bottle of cider is on the cards!!

Spiky Haired Edward~

Hi All,

Can I just say a big thank you to Passion for Pro-Markers Challenge blog. The stamp I won (after entering their challenge) has arrived, how quick was that..It came from Pink Gem Designs, Thank you all.

After three and a half hours at the Retreat (my allotment), Weeding! Yes thats all I did for that length of time!
I found a nice way to relax this afternoon....card making!

I find it so therapeutic (had to look that word up in the dictionary!)
All my stress and strains go away, and I am in Paper heaven.

My husband once told friends that if a burgler broke into our house, he would leave the DVD player and Tv and just take my stash of paper, he then added,
IF he brings someone with him to help carry it! LOL
Eh...Not saying I have a lot of paper, but it does take up over half my craft room!!! It is my favorite craft thing, I love it, and the more I have the more I want...I am odd~

Anyway back to normal land now...
This is one of my New stamps, it's Edward from The Greeting Farm collection, I love him, I like the way he has a lot of spiky hair that can be coloured in lots of daft colours, I as you can see, I chose the orange...Love it.
I wanted to do a card for the Fancy Fold challenge at The Creative Cottage, I have entered a couple of other challenges aswell, details are all below:
I have used metal brads and silver mirror board, on this card aswell as black sparkle paper which is adhesive, so perfect for covering this folded card.
I have used a Zig Zag MS punch, must admit when I bought this I was dissapointed and thought I would never use it, but I am quite happy with it on this boy card..
Have used Pro-markers to colour in, and added glossy accents to shine up the hair!

Fairytales Do Come True~

Hi All~

Before I talk about the card I have made today, can I just tell you all that I won my first ever challenge today!
I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it this morning..I am a happy bunny!!
It was won with my little Blue Penny Black Hedgehog, thank you card.
Thank you to Passion for Pro-Markers who chose me.

Today's card is a Fairy..
Can I just say sorry about the awful photography tonight, It just did not work whatever I did, in the end I just left it, sorry!

I have never had a stamp with a fairy on before, until I went away last weekend, and I ended up buying two, and this image is one of them, hope you like her as much as I do. She is by Penny Black, and is called High Spirits!

I wanted to enter the Copic colour challenge, so thats why she is purple and aqua.
I also bought the sentiment when I bought the fairy, that is by Whiff of Joy.
The pearls are Hobbyhouse and all the papers are leftover bits and bobs from my stash.
The border punch is by EK Success.

Just saying hello...

Hi All~

What a fab day here for us, really nice weather. Not as hot as it looked, but dry and sunny!!

I have made an easle card today. Not made one for a while, and I do like them, they are really easy to do and look so different, don't they?
I have wanted to use this stamped image for ages. My friend Bev stamped her for me, I did actually colour her in a few weeks ago, but just did not get around to putting her on a card...'till today~

The fancy border around the image was done with my MS punch. It's the tutorial on the brilliant Whiff of Joy, site...go and have a look, it's fantastic.

I chose two different Strawberry papers for the background, and punched some NS flowers. I have used 6 little buttons on the image and another matching flower and button on the bottom of the easle. Finished with a rub on sentiment saying:
"Just saying hello...

Get Well Soon~~

Hi All~

After my day away on Saturday...shopping for craft goodies, I have managed to use some of my new purchases and have made another card.
It's another BOY card...HaHa. I don't know what has got into me, two boy cards in a row...People will talk!!

While shopping I found this stamp by Penny Black, called Slapsick, and I love it. The little boy is so sweet in his huge floppy hat, and with his buckets of frogs, he is just up my street!!

I have chosen papers in blue's, not sure what make they are. I usually don't add flowers to my mens/boys cards, but today I just wanted to!

The get Well stamp is one of my new circle stamps by Justrite. These are "Just a note Set", I stamped it and then cut it out with a 2" punch. The large flower is made with my new Woodware punch from QVC. Both are great to use.
The edge punch is by EK Success. Even though I love MS punches, I have two Ek punches and they cut beautifully, I have to say thay are my favorites to use.

A BOY CARD...REALLY?

Hi All~~

What a day yesterday.
I set off on a coach with friends to travel three hours to Liverpool...Port Sunlight to be exact.
I spent the next 5 and a bit hours....Shopping...Shopping for CRAFT GOODIES!!!
I cannot think of another thing more exciting. (Well perhaps I can, but it was good!)

I spent a small fortune...again... but I did get some lovely Stamps, which over the next weeks I hope to show you on my cards.
Happy Mother's Day to all over the water, (UK Mother's Day is in March)

Hope you like my BOY card. Cannot remember the last time I made a male card, but it's about time, and because this Magnolia Edwin is one of my new stamps, I really enjoyed doing it. My Nephew is 13 in September and I will do him a card with Edwin on later in the year, I think he will like him.

I have used some Rayher "Garden" paper as the background. This paper is fab as all the tree's, grass and little basket are already on the paper, great.
I then used my new MS punch, did not realise it looked so like a trellis until I punched it out...great with this paper. Edwin was stamped a couple of times, I stamped him on different papers so I could cut out his clothes to decoupage them.
I added three Card Candy, and a lovely Penny Black sentiment saying "the tiniest things can carry you away".

Arr Me Hearty's~~

Hi All~
Cannot believe it's FRIDAY AGAIN!!
AND we have a HUNG PARLIAMENT here, but lets not talk Elections.

I have had a bit of a job with today's card!! Pirates... Arr me Hearty's!!
I am trying to speak in my best Johnny Depp voice but it's not working. Mind you i do love Johnny if that helps!!
I have never made a Pirate card before and at first I did not know where to start.
I knew I was going to have a go at a sort of map and I also knew I had some skulls, anchors and a treasure chest on my "Lifes a Beach" cricut cartride, so that helped.
I had two different Tilda's and when I saw the Just Magnolia challenge was "It takes two" I thought~~use them both!!

Looks a bit wishy washy on the photo, but is slightly more colourful in real life.

I am a bit excited about my trip away tomorrow...It's a stamping fair at Port Sunlight in Liverpool, so I cannot wait now. I will be absent most of tomorrow, but I will catch up with you all in the late evening.

Much Nicer!!

Hi All~~

Well I am a bit happier with my latest craft project...Was not sure about the last card, the colour combo not quite right for me, and the more I looked at it the more I knew it was not me at all..
Anyway...this latest card is, so thats made me alot happier. Everyone makes mistakes and it just does not bother me, if I make a mistake I move on...I always say In Scrapbooking there are NO MISTAKES....and I mean it!

I am quite happy with this latest card, and was waiting to use my GG decoupage again. Loved it last time and love it now...
I have entered the following challenges:

http://sugarbowlblog.blogspot.com/2010/05/challenge-35-marlenes-sketch.html

http://paperplaychallenges.blogspot.com/2010/05/10-week-18-stampdigi-and-bling.html

http://colourcreatechallenge.blogspot.com/2010/05/colour-create-44-dt-call.html

I have used this GG decoupage kit, it's so easy, all die-cut (not that thats a must as I like cutting it out), and I have matched the colours to the Colour Create challenge, like these colours, feels much more my style..
The papers were from my OLD stash, looked through and found them, the linen effect cream colour originally came in a Scrapbook kit and I never used it as it was a funny size, perfect for cards though.
I have had another go at making my own flower, and used a NS punch on the leaves. I have used a MS punch for the corners and used Whiff of Joy's brilliant tutorial for the border punch edging on the quater circle corners..
I have used some stones for added bling. I had a lovely "Just Because" sentiment and managed to bend it slightly on my acrilic block, so it would go around the edge of the cirle.

You're so special to me~~

Hi All~~

Raining today, couldn't believe my eye's...cannot remember the last time we had rain here.
I am dealing with a crisis at home at the mo.... My daughter is due to go on holiday with her boyfirend on Friday, BUT and it's a big BUT...
Eyjafjallajokull has decided to have another good old go!! (Or for those of you who haven't got a clue what I just said~ thats the official name of the Iceland Volcano~~)
The poor things thought that two weeks ago would have been the end of the flight disruption...but no...it's off again. Cannot be helped, but it is thier first holiday together. Poor little mites!!

Well down to today's card. Tilda sitting on a cake! Not sure this is my favorite Tilda, don't know if it's because she looks like she's wearing a ballet outfit and ballet was not my thing, but not sure...
Anyway, I needed to sit her on a cake, so she is the one I chose in the end.
I followed the Creative Inspirations challenge of orange, purple and pink, again I found that hard, they are not the three colours I would put together.
In the end I was quite pleased with the result.
Used my MS punches for the borders and the flowers, used a heart pin through the ribbon. Coloured with copics.

I have followed the following challenges:

Penny Black Hedgehog~~

Hi All~

Hope you have had a good day, another nice day, but a little breezy, good washing day though!!

I have decided to make a card without a person on it, hard for me that..
I bought these Penny Blcak stamps a while ago, but did not really know how to use them...Still don't really!!
I chose this very fresh blue paper, not sure where its from. Also some MME papers, I have used my MS punch for the border and the little butterfly too.
Coloured with the brilliant Pro-Markers, finished with flourish's, stars and a Thanks sentiment..

My Lovely Dad~~

Hi All~

As this coming weekend (May 8th) is the anniversary of my dad's death, I thought I would mark it by making a Scrapbook page with his beautiful face on it...
I have lots of photo's of my dad, and over the past 6 years I have been slowly Scrapbooking all my lovely memories of him.
As with anyones death, at first it is very hard to look at photo's let alone Scrapbook them, but I found over time, I wanted to do it.
He always took a good photo, this one is him pulling his silly smile face..
It was New Years Eve 1997, and he had had a bit to drink by the time this was taken. I love it, so funny!

I have used a 12x12 Bo Bunny paper, and some MME to co-ordinate. I have a huge MS border punch, perfect for Scrapbooking, and I have used little eyeletts in my tabs and tag. I have lots of Setiments, so chose the lovely "Unique", and the "We do not remember days, we remember moments"...

I have entered it into the following challenge, as the sketch was a perfect match to my page..

Live Well, Laugh Often and Love much!

Hi All~
Bank Holiday Monday, and it's NOT Raining!! What's going on?
It's them Weather Men again, they said it would be raining! I think they do it because they do not want too many people having a Barbecue at the same time..And us Brits see a bit of sun and out come the Sausages...
Well Mr Weather man, some of us are waiting until it is actually "HOT" before we attempt to fire up the stove!

Had a busy cleaning morning, but this afternoon I was able to make my latest card.
I have chosen one of my New Anya stamps, this time the cute girl with the handbag~

I have used 3 different papers, 3 flowers (well 4 in my case) and 3 ribbons, all for the Cupcake Challenge. I also had to enter it into Anyone for Anya challenge too.
I have used my Pro-Markers for colouring, and wanted to give her bright red hair, hope I have managed that! Blue is not my favorite colour, but I think this is quite sunny looking, so nice for a change.

Put Your Sunglasses On~~

Hi All~
Don't know where the day has gone today. Been busy most of it, not done more than a couple of hours crafting all day.

Earlier today I repaired my Nephews Scrapbook I made him for his 18th Birthday. My sister said he shows it to so many people that, it fell to bits!! Literally!
He was really upset, but I told him it would only take me a minute to put back together, and It did. For those who know about scrapbooking, the posts needed putting back in place and tightening, thats all~

After a nice night on the sofa with hubby watching "The Mummy 3" on Blu Ray...(not very romantic I know). I was able to make this card before bed.

It is however a bit BRIGHT, hence the title, not my usual style, but I got carried away and before I knew it, it was done!!
I am entering it in the following challenges:

http://magnoliadownunderchallenges.blogspot.com/2010/05/magnolia-down-under-challenge-44.html

http://papersundaes.blogspot.com/2010/05/paper-sundaes-sixteenth-challenge.html

http://pollycraftchallengeblog.blogspot.com/2010/05/challenge-42-here-comes-sun-becky.html

I followed the MDU sketch, Papersundae's colour scheme of Red, Green and Yellow (and it's deffinatly those colours!) Stamptacular Sunday's mum theme, and Polycraft Challenge "here comes the Sun"..

I have used Lovely "Scribble Scrabble" 12x12 papers called "Lullaby Of Birdland". They are brilliant, they have four 6x6 square's on one side and a contrasting full sheet on the reverse, so they all mix and match brilliantly.
I have used the beautiful Tilda, some Hobbyhouse Pearls, MS punch for border and flowers, and have cut the oval and shadow on the Cricut.
