White Christmas...Yes Please~

Hi All~

Just a quick post as I am a bit of a busy bunny at the mo.

Hubby is off to Portugal with friends tomorrow, and I am off to Harrogate buying craft goodies on Saturday and Sunday.
I will hopefully join you all on Monday after work and see if you have had a nice weekend.

Todays card was inspired by the lovely sketch at Sketch Saturday, it was so nice to do.
This is one of my Heather Ellis digi images, it's so nice isn't it? I love the way you can glitter up the edge of the hats on the girl and Snowman~

Sorry for being away~

Hi All~

Sorry I have not been with you all for ages. I have gone back to work after 7 weeks off, so it takes me a few days to get going again.

I had a funeral yesterday, and today is my son's 18 Birthday....Cannot believe my youngest is 18 already, so tonight is party night..

At the weekend it's my trip to Harrogate papercraft fair, so I hopefully will have some gorgeous products to show you all next week.

Robbie's Birthday Card~

Hi All~

Just thought I would share with you the Birthday card I have made for my Guitar mad Nephew.
Robbie must have 5 guitars, I have even bought him Guitar related things for his Birthday in a couple of weeks.

He is only 13 but is a very accomplished player, and his rendition of Oasis's "Wonderwall" and Eric Clapton's "Tears in Heaven", makes the hairs stand up on my arms!!

Found The Creative Cottage had a Celebration Challenge, so it's entered in that.

I finished this card before I went to bed last night, but did not get a chance to post it. Today has just flown by and It's taken me 'till now to get round to it!

I love this Tilda, she is not one of mine, she's a borrowed from a friend Tilda, how nice is she?
I have followed a few challenges and they are all listed below.

I have used one of my 6x6 Scalloped cards, papers are from my scrap bit box, and inked edges are with Tim Holtz tattered rose. The image is coloured with copics.

Pink, Just For You~

Hi All~

Another lovely day weather wise here for us....Don't tell me ~ September is going to be gorgeous!!

Hubby is at a Beer Festival tonight, so I have been having a few hours crafting and chilling! BUT...Oh no that means, it will be MEGA hangover time in the morning!

Tonight I have had a play with this little LOTV image, I like her, but, she always looks to me like she is bursting for the loo! It must be her legs and feet! LOL

Anyway, she is coloured with Pro-Markers, and all the card and sentiment are Kanban, including the matting.
Finished with stickles and ribbon(which I cut off a T.Shirt I have just bought. Does anyone else hate those "hang them on a hanger ribbons"? I always cut them off and this one has come in well handy!)

Entered into:

LOTV-Sketch
Papertake-One Colour
Crafty Creations--White + 1
Stamp Something--Something Cute

Mo Manning Digi Image~

Hi All~

I am finally back in the land of blog on my OWN PC, and am a happy bunny, even though my daughter was kind enough to let me use her laptop, I was as slow as a snail with a hernia on it!!
A Big Thank you to my daughter Eve, you are a star.

I have been quite busy, so not mangaed to do alot of crafting, but had a few spare minutes (Lol) this morning so have made a card using this adorable Mo Manning Digi image.

My papers are a mix of Tim Holtz and Kanban and I have used two ribbons and pearl gems from my stash. I have distressed my papers with my scissors and Tim Holtz Tattered Rose ink around the edges. The image is coloured with Pro-markers and i have added iced lace stickles to her wings.
As this card is entered into the challenge at Charisma and they want a song title I had a think and came up with "One Day I'll Fly Away" by "Randy Crawford"...I am a bit rubbish about things like this, but I thought this would be ok!!

Entered into:

Cupcake Challenge--Digi
Charisma--Song title
Flutterby Wednesday--Birthday Blowout & Sketch
Die Cut Challenge--Shades of Vintage
I love Pro-markers--Myths
Creative Inspirations--Colour combo
D2p Mo's--Distressing
