Sweet Stampin' Challenge--Doodles.

Hello Girls~
Hope I find you all well. Thank you for the lovely comments you have left me this week, you are all lovely!

It's a Saturday again so another Challenge at Sweet Stampin'. This week our theme is Doodles.
Oooo I love a spot of doodling!!
Our Sponsors are Sir Stampalot-Stamps/Crafters Companion so come on and have a "Doodle".

This is the little card I came up with. I have used one of my Darkroom Door doodle stamps and added just a bit more doodling. The image is a Topper from Hobbyhouse, isn't she a cutie? The large brad has a dragonfly on it, not sure where these were from.

Trinket Box~

Hiya Girls~

Sorry I have not been around for ages, busy busy busy!!
Do you ever have a few weeks like that!

Today I had a lovely meet up with my friends at a Workshop I ran to make a Tag Book. What great fun we had using lots of Stamps, frantage, Embossing Folders, Pretty papers and Inks, we mostly finished the Front Covers and are looking forward to making all the Tags we are putting in the Book.

I have another project to show you now.
It is my Niece's Birthday today and she wanted me to make her a box for her jewellery (I made her Mum one back in February and she asked for a similar one).
I decided to use the Tim Holtz Birdcage Die this time, used the Sewing Room Die on the last one, I love all these dies by Tim they are just so nice.

I painted the box with Kaisercolour and then stuck on Pretty Paper.
The Papers used are from Which Craft and made by Pion Designs, these papers are quite expensive but are stunning there are lots of different patterns to choose from too.
Most of the flowers are Hobby House and Crafty individuals, the flat back large pearls are from my stash. The sentiment and butterfly are both freebies from the latest ScrapBook Magazine.

Hi girls~

Oh hec, guess what..... I am a bit worse for wear!!
Tequilla Slammers, Cosmopolitan Cocktails and Belgium Beer......NOT a good idea!

I must pull myself together as Hubby, me and Bessie Mate Angie are "Boozing" again tonight at the local "Cider Festival"!!
Bring it on.....Wimper!
Pathetic aren't I?

I do have a project to show you. I made this card last week for a Friend of my Daughters.
I get asked alot for cards with numbers on, and this one seems to go down quite well. Sometimes I cut Cricut Machine numbers, but today these are stickers. Think this paper I have used is MME, but not sure as they were in my "Bit" box. Sentiment pc generated. The flower is my favourite die at the moment and is by Di-namics. The punched edge is done using a MS punch. I finished with a touch of doodling.

I will try not to drink TOO much tonight, but it is a Cider Festival, so there will be lots of ciders to try out.

May the 4th...Sweet Stampin' Challenge

Hello Girls,
Hope I find you all well on this "Star Wars" day....May the Forth be with you!!

I have scheduled this post as I am off out to a friends house for a party (outdoors if the weather behaves!). AND no I am not going dressed as Princess Leah or a Wooky!!
I maybe a little worse for wear tomorrow, as lately I am not the best at drinking alcohol all day, i prefer a nice G&T with my friend Angie, or a nice glass of wine with Hubby maybe once or twice a month!!

So onto today's project. Over at Sweet Stampin' this week we are asking you to "Create a Scene"...
No, don't run around in the street with your underwear on your head.....Create a card/other that has a scene on it. Our Sponsors this week are Cuddly Buddly.

I decided to do a small wall hanging featuring two stamps by Stampotique "Keykeeper" and "Shrooms". The flower stamp and Sentiment stamps are Indigo Blu. The Background was created with Pan Pastels. Colouring is all done using Tim Holtz Distress Markers.

Ooo look what I won!!

Hello Girls~

I love good news do you, and I like it even more when it takes me by surprise.
So...can you imagine my delight when the Postman brought me a gorgeous unexpected parcel, with TWO, yes TWO sets of Dylusion Stamps....Wow! I had won them by entering into the Craft Stamper magazine competition.
If you don't get the Craft Stamper Magazine, you are definitely missing out, it's not just another Card Magazine, Katy Fox the editor is a genius and the content of the Magazine is stunning, great techniques and lots of different projects. Here is a picture of my winnings....Am i a lucky girl or what?

Can't wait to have a play with them, they are quite spooky and will be perfect for Halloween. There is a spooky tree, spooky spider, ugly Malcom (if I am allowed to call him ugly!), ants, a crying head!, a specimen jar (don't like to think what might be in there!), an eye ball (ah! for the jar!!), and other little daft stamps. Great stuff. I have a few sets of Dylan's stamps and although these are fabulous I would probably not have bought them just yet, so DE-LITE-ED that I now have them.

Wedding Time of Year~

Hello Ladies~

I hope you are all well.
I am off to Zumba this morning so will not be crafting until later in the day, but yesterday I made a card for one of my Daughter's work friends. I have used my all time favourite LOTV image, I use this image for almost all of my Wedding cards. I just love it, you can colour the couple's clothes in whatever colours you like, and can add stickles or glitter like I have done.
I have used backing papers also from the LOTV range, a doily and two pins and flowers from Hobbyhouse. I love these Nesti shapes in the Hexagon (if that is what it is!). I have used the flat and the scalloped together. Coloured with Pro-Markers.

My New Prima Media Doll~

Hello Ladies~

I have been waiting very patiently this week for my little Prima Mixed Media Doll Stamp to arrive.....Hey! I was so happy when my Postman brought it yesterday morning.
Unfortunately I did not use it first thing, I was busy doing nasty stuff like CLEANING!! (Yak!)
I kept looking on my table at the Stamp waiting there to be used!!
So.....after helping my Daughter decorate her Goddaughters 1st Birthday Cake, I was able to have a little play.

The great big Tag I have used is also from Prima and were made especially to accommodate these large Doll Stamps (the Tags are over 8x4, and Doll is over 7x3).
These Stamps are made perfectly for Paper Piecing their clothes. Great for using up all your lovely bits and bobs of designer papers, that's what i have done.

They remind me of when i was small and used to play with my paper dolls and clothes with the little tabs, i used to love them, and i also used to design my own clothes too. They must have made a bit of a revival as i noticed in my local craft shop girly books of faces to decorate with makeup and body forms for clothes, think they are called Next Model pads.

If you go to Youtube on Julie Nuttings site here, you will see how she likes to stamp the faceless dolls on some form of Script Paper, I have done that aswell.
The paper I have used is from a pad of Vintage type papers I have had for ages, but I don't know who makes it. When i went through all my papers i found tons of script ones which will be great to use in the future with these stamp.
I have used several script type stamps for the background, and a little butterfly and sentiment from the Lost and Found set, the Bunting stamp is by Anna Griffin.
