Father's Day Camper Van~

Hi Girls,
Can I say a quick hello to all my old and new followers, how lovely to hear from you all, your comments are always so warm and lovely.

I am having a few Blogger problems at the mo, but it looks like some of you are too, so I am not the only one. I sometimes cannot comment (and that makes me sad,) but I do get to see your gorgeous work so I am happy about that. The other day I had to un-check the "Keep me signed in" box in order to comment, so I hope this helps you if you have problems.

Hubby is off work this week, so we have been doing a few things together in the garden. I am not a very good gardener, I leave that to Chris, but I do like to help him! The weather has not been too bad, today has been "Odd" though, one minute sunny the next a drop of rain, now the breeze has built up, great for my washing that is blowing around like mad out there!

Right....On to today's card. I have made this while watching the debut of Dawn Bibby on Create and Craft. I was a bit unsure she would fit in with the others on this new channel, but she has and it seemed ok to see her there.

I have used this gorgeous Helz Cuppleditch image for my Father-in-Laws Father's Day Card. It's a bit early to make a F D card, but I like to be on the ball and not leave things to the last minute, AND I will have all the Playgroup daddy's cards to make nearer the time too.
I have used some Basic Grey papers and an Anna Griffin ribbon punch, plus a few Hobbyhouse pearls. The Image is coloured with Pro-Markers. The Sentiment is pc generated.

Me and My Dog~

Hello Girls,

I hope I find you well on this Bank Holiday Weekend. Unfortunately the weather is not playing ball, but what's new on a Bank Holiday Weekend...BUT at least it is not raining, so thats something!!

Thank you to all who asked if my daughter made it back from Egypt with no delays.. (bl**dy volcano!) Well I am please to report no problems and she has had a fabulous time, but has a touch of Deli Belly, so is feeling a little delicate.

I have been to Zumba this morning and although I am a tad tired I have done a few jobs, and then had time to post this card I made last night while watching American Idol.

I have been watching American Idol for ages (think it's about 14 weeks). Well I finished watching Thursday nights show, knowing Friday evening was the Grand Final WHEN....I turned over to another channel only for them to tell me the winner!! I was so angry, so much so that I have Emailed ITV to ask how they could spoil a programme without giving a warning to tell people they are going to spill the beans, they are quick enough to do it for Football or the dreaded Cars going round and round!!
Don't quite understand what happened 'cos Friday nights show was such a big grand finale and had loads of special
I was however happy with the winner....

Sorry, After my full on rant...It's back to the card in question:

I have used this lovely Sarah Kay image of the 70's girl and her dog, I love this, she is so tall and gorgeous and I love the dog too, could it be a setter of some sort?
I have used some gorgeous Memory Box papers. My oval Nestie shape, hobbyhouse pearls, a NS flower punch and a craftwork cards sentiment. Quite simple really.

Little Flower Fairy by LOTV~

Hi Girls,
I have just finished work today for The Whit Holidays, I will not be back until Monday 6th June.....Yipee!

On Sunday 5th June (the day before my return) I will be going to Manchester with my sister and friend to see Take That. It has come round so quick from when my sister told me at my Birthday Party on Christmas Day...Wow I can not believe it's almost 6 months ago.....How time flies!! I am getting very excited now, hope it's as good as the last time I saw them (mind you Robbie was not part of the group then,) so don't know how well he will fit in until I see him!! I am more a Gary Barlow fan myself.

I have had a few jobs to do today before I could have a play.
My daughter returned from Egypt at 5am (she's in bed now) but I am doing her washing and general cleaning up.

I eventually came up with this card after trying to use up some of my scrap paper. It's terrible how much leftover stash I have, but I am assuming you are all the same. I do try every now and then to use up as much as I can, and I do use a lot in Scrapbooking for making Tags, labels and things like arrows and flowers.

I have just bought this LOTV fairy. I have a couple of the cute girlie ones, but this one is so grown up and very demure!

I have made some bunting out of scraps, I like bunting and again I use alot of it in my Scrapbooks.
Again I have used a few Hobbyhouse pearls, and a retro flower. The octagon and scalloped octagon are one of my favorite Nestie shapes.

My lovely Horse~

Hi Girls, Naughty Blogger playing up a bit for me, so sorry if I have not been able to comment on your gorgeous cards, hopefully when hubby de-frags the pc at the weekend it may run a little better!

Today's card is made using this lovely LOTV image. I have used this image lots of times, BUT only in Topper form. When I went away recently and saw it as a stamp, I just had to have it! So glad I did 'cos I love it.

I have used some Craftwork cards black and white leaf design paper, and some green dotty paper from my stash.
I have had these "Black" flowers from Hobbyhouse for ages and have just not quite found the right colours to match up with them, think they go on this card quite well. This punch is one I bought from QVC, but no idea who makes it, the punch itself is lilac and grey, I bought them in a set of four. I have added some Hobbyhouse pearls, a craftwork cards sentiment and a new woodware leaf punch.
I have coloured this image with Pro-Markers.

Moon Beam~

Hello Again~

Had a nice easy day today. A couple of hours at work. A couple of hours cleaning up. A couple of hours Crafting...What more could you want?
I was going to have a couple of hours at the "Retreat" (allotment for the one's who don't know me!) BUT the weather put a stop to that, so more crafting me thinks!!

I love this Leanne Ellis "Moon Beam" image. I bought this stamp about 6 months ago and although I have used her I think I have only used her once...Naughty me, especially when she is Soooooo cute.

I have used the theme at Craft Your Days Away, they wanted white and one other colour, so I chose this lovely blue paper by Bella BLVD called Forget Me Nots, I love this small retro flower pattern.
The image is coloured with Copic's, the border is MS, The sentiment is Craftwork Cards, and the flowers are Hobbyhouse. I have embossed the piece of white card just to give it a bit of texture, I have used the Swiss Dot embossing folder.

"Hey teacher leave them kids alone"~

Hiya Girls,

R u all singing the Pink Floyd song then? OR are some of you far too young to know what song I am talking about?

I don't know if it's blowing a gale and raining where you are...but that's what it is doing here. The wind is really strong and gusty.

My daughter is in Egypt at the moment, she went with her boyfriend to the same resort they went to last year. They had a few problems then with the Iceland Volcano...Well would you Adam and Eve it (pardon the pun...daughters name is Eve!!)
It was only on tv this morning saying it's off again twelve months after it did it first time around......Will they get back on Thursday?? Anybodies guess. Mind you IF they have any money left, don't think they will complain at being delayed a bit, especially in a 5* Hotel!!

I was Scrapbooking last night so a nice change to make a card today.
I have had this LOTV image for a while now and not inked it up yet, isn't she cute, so sweet with her little bag over her body!

Not sure who makes these lovely papers, they are just off cuts from my bit box. The image is coloured with Pro-Markers. The little ruler in the corners is one of my brand new stamps and is by Technique Tuesday (never heard of them myself, but they are from America).
I have added an apple/abc embellishment and a red velvet brad.

Sweet Stampin DT card

Hello Ladies~

This week over at Sweet Stampin our challenge is A Sketch/In the Garden theme, chosen by the talented Val.
Our sponsor this week is the fabulous Heather Ellis, and the card I have made is using one of her cute images, hope you like it!

I bought this flower background paper recently in The Range, its by g.c.d and is called "The Lydia Collection". The flowers are from my stash, the ribbon is from my local market stall, the pearls are hobbyhouse, and a craftwork cards sentiment. The Image is coloured with Pro-Markers.

As I love this sketch and the theme of "In the Garden", I have made another card using this theme and this time I have used this lovely tree stamp called "Open Tree" by Hobby Art. I stamped the image in Memento Brown Ink and inked around the image to distress it a bit, I have added some Platinum stickle, and quite a few Hobbyhouse pearls in silver/blue. The flowers are American Crafts and I have added a "Springtime" sentiment, but not sure what make this is. The grass punch is a MS, and I think the papers are Dovecraft.

I have used this tree lots of times, it's great for a man's card, I have also used it for Christmas, for Birthdays and for notelets, I just love it.

Mo's Party Girl~

Hi Girls,

What a nice day I have had today.
I popped to see mum and Nana and they are both doing well at the moment. I went to invite them to dinner early next week. My Nana loves coming to eat at mine, and I love having them both here. I am lucky as they only live about 2 miles away.

My daughter and her boyfriend went on holiday to Egypt today. This is the second time they have been to the same resort and hotel, they love it and are waited on hand and foot...Eve said "It's total bliss"!!
Yet more good new....(Don't know if I can take any more!!) My son Matthew has just been offered some work at the local Tesco store in the phone shop, so he is made up (and so is mine and his dad's bank balance!)

Oh I need a lie down now!!

On to my second post of the day. I saw the new challenge over at Mo's digital Pencil today, and I just couldn't resist but to enter it.
I love this little "party" image, just look at her gorgeous hair, who wouldn't want hair like that?

Sorry the card looks a bit "orange", it's not orange is a definite Pink, my camera was just playing up AGAIN!!

I wanted to keep this card quite simple, so used just two colours. The "Ice Cream" coloured Matt's are basil card stock and the pink DP is a sheet of s.e.i paper called Juliette. I have used some lovely flower brads in the two matching colours, and the image is coloured with Pro-Markers.

Time to Enjoy Yourself~

Hello Ladies, Hope I find you all well. A big thank you to my followers for your constant comments and support, you really are such treasures and make my day!

Today I bring you one of my new images. I saw this stamp recently at my local craft shop and wasn't sure if I should buy it or not. I waited for a week or so, and when I went back on Monday, it was still on the shelf, so I thought I would buy it. I am glad I did as I think it's lovely.
I must admit I am not very happy with my colouring, I was just having one of my "Off" day's...Oh don't you just hate it when that happens?

Anyway here it is:

I have used some of the lovely g.d.c. stripy brown paper (I like the way these stripes are on the reverse of the pattern sheets, so if a sheet is too ornate or not to your liking the stripes on the back will always come in useful. You cannot see it, but the stripes have a shiny/pearl look too, so very nice to craft with.
The orange flower paper is Basic Grey's Nook & Pantry. The border punch is part of a set I bought on qvc, but cannot think of the make, they are lilac colour punches. The sentiment is one of my new LOTV stamps. The image is coloured with my Pro-Markers. The pearls are again Hobbyhouse.

Turn up the Music~

Hello Girls,

Busy day for me today. Did shopping in the morning, and then cleaning this afternoon. Mind you that means that tonight I have been able to have a play with some of my New Stash from the weekend!

I love Greeting Farm stamps and was a bit disappointed when the stall that usually sells them did not have very many and was stocking another brand of stamps no where near as nice!! I did however find this lovely stamp among all the others.
I have entered into the "Punky" challenge at Anyone for Anya with this card, and I think she fits the bill alright...Very Punky!!

I have embossed the blue card with a music cuttle bug folder and I have used some Basic Grey Hopscotch papers. I have cut out the image with one of my new Go Create "Tag" dies's, I love this. There are 4 tags all in different sizes, I have used the largest of them, they are going to be very useful.
The lovely "Admit One" ticket stamp is from LOTV, I bought that on Saturday too.
The guitar charm and ribbon were from my stash, the flower is NS, and the image is coloured with my Marvey Le Plumme alcohol markers.

Tim Holtz Configeration Boxes~

Hello Girls,

It is my Niece's Birthday today, and I have made her a Tim Holtz Configuration box as a pressy, I thought I would show it you and see what you think.
I have really enjoyed making them (this is my second, first one I made for my daughter Eve). They are really easy to do, and the whole thing is made so much easier using the brilliant Tissue Tape from Tim.
My daughters box is white and very modern, where as Leah's box is far more vintage.

I have been collecting little bits and bobs to put inside, and managed to get lots of lovely things on Saturday. Old clocks, vintage photo's, plaques, thimble, old bobbins etc.
I used Tim's little box feet on Eve's box, but decided to use the great little bobbins with tissue tape round them for Leah's box!
Port Sunlight was great, I spent lots of money and had fun all day. It's quite a long way from me (3 hours there and 3 hours back) and I did the driving, so today I have been very tired. Back to work so feeling it a bit, but time to craft later on, so happy.

Gorgeous Winged Girl~DP2

OMG...WHAT ON EARTH HAS GONE ON THE LAST 24 HOURS WITH BLOGGER????
It's gone bonkers!!

I lost the link at 8pm last night and it came back for me at 7pm tonight. It is still not running right...I have tried to load my card on a few blog challenges, but I am having problems, I might just give up in a mo!! Try again another day.
Oh I am cross. I lost the post I was writing, and the photo etc, so I am at it gain now!!

On a lighter note:
I am so excited, I am off to Port Sunlight with some friends at 7.30am...
Port Sunlight is in Liverpool, about 3 hours away for me, it is a fantastic Stamping Fair and around 100 stalls selling all crafty items. It is a stamping fair but other stalls are allowed, so it's a great mixture. Hubby has given me some money (Oh little love) and I have my own stash saved too....cannot wait now!

Today's card was ready to post last night before Blogger gave up the ghost, so here it is now!

As I am joining in at DP2 (Mo's digital pencil blog) they asked for an image that represented "Summer". I had several image's that fit the bill (Mo's images are just adorable) the Strawberry Girl is one of my favorites, BUT I have always had a soft spot for this gorgeous girl with the beautiful wings.

Don't know if my colouring looks any different on this card, but I have just received my new set of Marvy Le Plumme alcohol markers, they are quite a lot like Copic pens, with a soft brush end, the colours are a bit different to the copic and Pro's I have, so they are lovely and great to use too.
The papers I have used are from g.c.d called Chic Bebe, these lovely shimmery stripy papers are actually the reverse side of the main dp's in the pad. I have used my MS beach border punch, some Craftwork Card candy and I have used the small and large NS flower punch. The Nestie is one of my newest shapes. The wings on the image are glittered using some stardust stickles.

Something Different~

Hi Girls,

Can I thank you all for the lovely comments you have left me for the last two posts, you are all so nice, as always you make my day.

I would like to share a Scrapbook page with you today, not a card!
This is a photo of my daughter Eve and her boyfriend Sean.
Although this photo is a couple of years old, Eve has asked me to make her a 12x12 album with her and Sean's favorite photo's of their days and nights away.
This one was taken two years ago at my mum's 70th Birthday party.
I have followed a sketch over at Scrapology, It was a lovely sketch to follow and the inspiration over there is great. This is the first Scrapbook Challenge Blog I have followed and I have really enjoyed entering it.

I am sorry but I have no idea where this DP came from or who makes it, I love it though.
As the challenge required the use of a vine of some sort, I cut up an off cut of another sheet of paper with these tall flowers on and used them as a sort of vine!!
I have used my MS punch for the border, a K&Co "Sweetie" chipboard sticker as the title, the butterfly's are a MS punch as well.
It is not quite finished even though I am showing it to you...I would like to write some journalling on the bottom left hand corner before I put it in the book, it will probably write something like the date and place plus the guest list.

Wish Upon A Star~

Hi Girls,

I am going out tonight with my friends. We are having a Chinese meal at the Jade Fountain and then onto the local pub "The Strawberry" to finish off the night.

I have been to my Zumba class this morning, so a bit tired now, I have had a wee kip this afternoon before I get ready and go out for a few G&T's!!

For my second post of the day, (first was the DT card for Sweet Stampin) I have chosen the theme over at Mo's Digital Pencil. How cute is this image?
I made a friend a Happy New Year card with this image, I just love it.
I did not make this card today, I made it yesterday evening b4 bed, but did not get time to post 'till today.
I am not happy with this weather today....Rain and more Rain.
Angie and I were at the "Retreat" (allotment) this week and the ground was very hard to dig, so we do need it. I did not see it, but last night we had an amazing (according to my son) Electrical Storm with no thunder, very exciting!

The Mo's challenge was to make a card in Monochrome, so I chose my favorite colours of the moment....brown and cream.
I have used a sheet of Kanban music and word card for the background, a lovely Anna Griffin ribbon punch I have embossed this card with the Swiss Dot folder, some hobbyhouse flowers and charm. Coloured with Pro-Markers.

I have entered this card into the following challenges:

Childhood Memories at Sweet Stamping~DT Card

Hello Girl,

Over at Sweet Stamping this week the theme is "Childhood Memories", and our sponsor this week is Tiffany Doodles.
It was an easy challenge for me, mind you I have that many childhood memories myself that the only problem I had was choosing which one.
My sister and I used to spend most of our childhood at our local beach. We used to go down and stay all day, fishing, paddling, and collecting shells etc.
Mum used to go too, and dad came on the weekends when he was not at work.
Well! because of this I have chosen an image of a little girl collecting seashells for my DT card, hope you like it.

So for todays card I have used a stamp by "Stamps Happen" and it is appropriately called "Collecting Sea Shells".

This was a stamp I bought from a craft fair, a lady I knew was selling it. I think she wishes she had not let it go (she bought a card I made last year using it and said she wishes she still had it) mind you I think it is really hard to find!!
To be honest it actually looks like me at that age!! I had the same colour hair and I had a dress just like this one too!...Ha Ha.

The papers used are Prima and I think they are so cute, the little girl in the right hand corner is making a sandcastle! I have coloured the image with Pro-Markers, and have added a couple of Hobbyhouse pearls.
The shell stamp is a Magnolia, they were in the sale at Christmas and have been very useful on beach cards, as is this fab MS beach punch, I love it.
This gorgeous "Kite" is also a stamp and is by American Crafts and I got this set as part of a "Walk in the Park" set with lovely papers and ribbon from QVC a couple of weeks ago, I think it goes with this card very well. As I have raised the kites on foam pads I had to add the strings by hand, but this is very similar to how they are on the actual stamp.
I have used a bit of Stickles in Stardust, just to accent the sand and edges of the card.

Cloud Gazing~

Hi Girls~

Don't know if anyone else is having PC problems, I don't seem to be able to leave a comment for some of you, so if you thought I was staying away from you, I am not, I am trying to get to see you all....Naughty PC!!

Back to work tomorrow...It will go down bad as the last time I was in work was on the 8th April!!
I am all ready to go, and not worried about it, but when you have been off so long, you just don't want to go back, and I do love being at home. Time to craft, sunbathe and just chill out really.

Onto today's card.
I have used this lovely Sugar Nellie image which I had totally forgotten I had, I was looking through my stamps when I came across her. I think I bought her last September!!
Anyway, she is so lovely, and with her hair all on one side, it makes me think it's a bit breezy for her, and especially with her hat on the ground too, looks like it's blown off!!

The papers are a new purchase called "Walk in the Park". The swirl is Marianne, the border punch is the lovely MS, buttons are from my stash, and I have used a few hobbyhouse pearls again.
The sentiment stamp came with the papers and is by American Crafts, they are lovely stamps, a kite, a tree, park life, dog etc all park themed. Image is coloured with pro-markers.
