A Boy Card!!

Hello Girls~

Well I just loved the Royal Wedding, did you?....Started watching about 8.30am and did not stop until the gorgeous couple left the balcony after the "double" kiss!!

I know some people have had a little moan about the Royal Wedding being expensive and a bit too "Royal", but I loved it.
Unfortunately (as is the case lately, must be my age or something) I had several teary bouts. The worst one was when I saw William and Harry together in their uniforms, I thought about Diana straight away, and how they walked down the Mall that day behind the coffin....BUT then I was all smiles when I saw Kathrine's dress........How totally perfect was that, so understated yet just, so her. I was delighted she picked an Alexander McQueen dress by Sarah Burton, just a Perfect Day (as the song goes!)

So after a great day I decided to have a play while all my lot are out and I am here "Home Alone"). Yippee

I have not used this Edwin Magnolia Stamp for ages, and I do love it, I only have a couple of Edwin's but I do think he is a sweetheart!

I have used some papers from my stash, and I have made a button from the same papers. All I did was cut out about 6 star shapes from a NS die I have, I like making my own buttons, I have put two holes in the middle with my cropadile.
I have added a sentiment from the Fizzy Moon collection, and a few red staples.
The border punch is a MS, I used to think I did not like this punch, but it is perfect for a man/boy's card.

My Last Rabbit Card~

Hello Girls~

A Big Thank You for the lovely comments I have received from you all lately, my followers are so lovely and you make my day.

Well I watched a couple of programmes on tv last night and they were all tear jerkers!!
First I watched DIY Sos and that made me cry. Then I watched the final of Master Chef and that was brilliant, made me cry again....Worn out now..

Another "Chores" day today, "Ironing"...Must admit I actually like ironing!! I know I am a nutter, but out of all the "house" jobs, ironing is the one I like the best! I stick a film on the tv (or in today's case "The Crimson Petal and the White", It has been a bit naughty!! but very good series, last one last night.
Hubby recorded it for me and I have watched it today whilst ironing.

I made this card last night, it's the last card I am making with my lovely "Warren" the rabbit, then he is going away for a while until I think I need him again!

I have followed the colour scheme on Creative Inspirations Pink, Green and Yellow and found these papers in my bit box.
The Image as I have said is Warren the rabbit by Craftwork Cards, and I have coloured him with Pro-Markers. The green background stamp is one of my new favorite LOTV stamps....Bet some of you didn't know that!
When I went to Harrogate I bought three of these background stamps, this one, a lovely old postcard and a music script, they are all gorgeous. I have inked over the top of this one with a memento green ink pad. The sentiment is by inkidindido and I have bent it round on the block to match the circle of the image matt. I have finished off with a few flowers, a bit of velvet green ribbon and my ever faithful Hobbyhouse pearls.

I am going to enter Warren into:

A New Beginning~

Hello Girls~

Sorry about another dreadful photograph...I need lesson's in photography!!

Another lovely day here, weather wise. I have had a good clean up today, although the bathroom is not quite finished yet, so more mess to come no doubt!

I have had a chance this afternoon to make a New House card for my friend Karen's daughter and her boyfriend.
This little house stamp was free on the cover of a magazine a few moths ago, it's a cute little image and the sentiment came with it.
I have chosen to emboss two pieces of the white card, one with the Swiss dot and the other with one of my favorite folders, the love hearts, I just think this is so cute and use it alot. The image and swirl is coloured with Pro-markers. The swirl and the matted shape behind the image were cut on my Cricut machine.

I was originally going to make an all white card, but changed it to purple and white at the last minute. Not 100% happy with the outcome, but It's done now and I want to post it out to their new address in the morning.

hAngler Girl~

Hi Girls,

Oh funny day today...Hubby and daughter are back to work. It's been lovely having them off for Easter, so it's gone down bad today now they have gone back to work......Just me and Matthew here, and he has gone out with his girlfriend now!
Oh well at least AFTER my jobs (and there are a lot of them to do!) I can do some crafting.

I have wanted to use this hAngler Stangler image for ages, she is so cute in her headband and sloppy jeans, Ahh.
I have tried to keep the colour scheme very pale, in pink, brown and blue, and I am quite pleased it worked out how I had thought. Do you ever start a card and have a style in your head, only for it to change before the end?? Well that usually happens to me, but pleased to say not this time!!

The Image is Hangler, coloured with Pro-Markers. The papers are all leftovers from my bit box. The butterfly and border punch are both MS.
I found these little metal flowers in my embellishment stash and changed the little green brad they had in the middle, for these little pink ones. Again I have added some Hobbyhouse pearls, quite an easy card really, simple.

OOPs spot the mistake!!

Hello Girls...

I did not notice until this morning MY MISTAKE on my last post.....

I have not coloured Tilda's hair in where it falls below her sleeve...Lol

You lovely kind girls did not mention it, ha ha, bet you didn't like to say "Hey you have missed a bit!".
I think I thought it was a tassel hanging from her top!! I don't know really. Anyway I have now coloured it to match the rest of her hair, good job too as I am giving this card away.

Be back later after I have checked my card is in one piece!!

Put Your Hand's Up Tilda~

Hello Girls,

Hope you are all having a lovely Easter.

Hubby and I have almost finished the bathroom, (gosh we have spent about 13 hours on it so far!!) We have still got a bit more to do today, but hopefully it won't take us much longer. It looks ok too. It's not a re-furbish it's just a makeover!

Today's card was finished yesterday just before I went to bed...I was just too tired to post it 'till now!
It is a while since I made a card using this sweet Tilda, I think it was last year (Oh that's awful of me, I really like her, where has she been?)

Not sure what her official title is, but I always call her "Happy" Tilda!
The papers are MME.
I have Paper Pieced Tilda's clothes, I love this technique, I have used the papers in the background for the clothes.
The swirl, Tag Flowers and Leaf are all Magnolia. The lovely delicate punch is one of my Anna Griffin border punches. I have coloured Tilda with Pro-Markers and the edges of all papers are inked with brown Memento.

Wedding Days~

The weather today is just a bit dull....BUT I am not complaining because Hubby and I are decorating the upstairs bathroom.
Have you ever started something and wished you hadn't!! Ha Ha.
It's not as bad as that really, to be honest we got all the prep done much quicker than we thort and it's ready for the painting tomorrow. I am so tired now I could just fall asleep!

It was so gorgeous yesterday, and yet again we had lunch outside, I do love the weather when it's like this, makes me feel so happy.

Mum and Nana came yesterday for dinner and they had a lovely time, Nana was surprisingly well and she ate like a horse, she really enjoyed my big leg of lamb, "yummy", I could just eat it again now!!

Hubby is a happy bunny (topical), he is off until Tuesday and is then only in three days before he is again for the Royal Wedding and another Bank Holiday.....I love it when he is off, and this weather helps too, we get loads done outside.

Today's card was made for a friend of a friend. I wanted to use this LOTV topper, and chose to make the whole card white on white with a splash of silver.

I have embossed the background card with a cuttlebug hearts folder, the large heart is a cuttlebug die and folder too. This is another of my new Nestie shapes, love this one, and the big rose and pins are from my flower box stash. The lovely pearls are again from Hobbyhouse and the heart border punch is one of my oldest and favorites by MS.

Sweet Stamping DT Easter Card~

Hello Girls~

Over at Sweet Stamping this week the theme is very appropriately EASTER..
Our Sponsor this week is Di's Digi Downloads and the lovely image I have used on my card today is one of hers, go take a look at all the other lovely images she has.

The Di's digi Image I have chosen is Easter Trike Ride, Isn't she so sweet? Just look at her little basket on wheels full of rabbits and the little pussycat too!
I have chosen to use this gorgeous Memory Box paper as I thought Green & Blue are good colours for Easter.

I did not follow a sketch by anyone in particular, but I did make a card quite recently using a sketch very similar to this, and really liked it.
The image is coloured with Pro-markers, these flowers are Prima "Tiny Tots", these are very useful, they come in a mix of colours and they are nice and small, so you can easily use a few on a card. The pearls are Hobbyhouse, the sentiment is computer generated and the butterfly is a MS punch.
This nice ribbon is actually two ribbons one on top of another, they were just from my stash.

Little Easter Goodie Bag~

Hiya Girls~

Happy Good Friday and Easter to all who celebrate, have a lovely time.

What a fabulous day, I cannot believe Me, My Hubby, Son and his Girlfriend all had Dinner outside on the patio tonight....Bliss and so warm.
Last year we were so looking forward to loads of lunches and Dinners outside and it was so miserable I could count on one hand how many times we actually did it, every time we thought we could it would haze over and go all gloomy.
I have my fingers crossed today was the start of many day's to come like this one..

I have not had chance to do any crafting today until 9pm tonight.
I have my Mum and Nana coming tomorrow for a lovely Lamb dinner, so I have been getting things prepared.

I needed to make another Easter bag tonight to give my mum and Nana a choccie pressy tomorrow, so here is what I came up with.
These lunch bags are great, I have used them for Birthdays, Christmas, Mother's Day, and now Easter. They can be decorated in no time at all, this one took me half an hour from start to finish. I have used a LOTV topper, these are already made and just need matting (no colouring) and I have used a few bits of leftover paper from my bit box.
The flowers and card candy are Craftwork Cards, and the border punch is a MS lace edge and corner. Simple and easy!...

You Make Me Smile~

Hiya Girls,
Wow more of this gorgeous weather please....Loving it. Having my Mum and Nana here for A Good Friday meal tomorrow (if Nana is feeling better, she had a funny doo yesterday!). Yummy Lamb...No vegetarians in my family.... Sorry..

This title is exactly what this image by Penny Black called "High Spirits" does to me...Makes me Smile..
I have used it a few times on my cards, and every time I do I love it. It stamps beautifully and is so easy to colour. I just love her hair, looks like she's got curlers in her hair!! Lol

I have used a few bits of paper and card from my "bit" box, and a sentiment that was free in a magazine. I have added lots of gems around and have added lots of paper flowers from Sandilion.
On her wings I have added glossy accents, but don't think the photo shows it.
All coloured with Pro-Markers.

Easter is on it's way~

Hiya Girls~

I am posting this whilst watching "The Godfather"- Hubby couldn't believe I was watching it on TV, especially when I have the full box set!! But thats me, and it is one of my top 20 films.

I have been chilling out today. I had a nice time at the Aquarium, but working all day takes it's toll, I am just not used to it! LOL
The weather was so nice at Lakeside and I love to watch the Windermere Steamer Boats going up the Lake, It's magical, a beautiful sight.
Not that busy inside where I was, but when It's lovely weather I am not as busy as when It's raining outside. At the Aquarium they have two new Otters (that's 4 altogether) and it was lovely to see them all swimming around and foraging for meal worms, So a good weekend for me and this weather is even better.

This afternoon after doing my jobs I have had a little play. I wanted to do a spring/Easter card using a Tilda stamp, but when I looked I had nothing that even slightly resembled a Spring/Easter image!!
Oh what to do......

In my craft room I have a box with stamped images in, most of them have been stamped for me by friends..In there I found this "old" Tilda, but I do like her, it's a bit different from some of the ones you can get now. I think with her having a bunch of flowers in her hand she should pass as a image for Spring/Easter, hope you agree!!

Image is Magnolia, Papers are Dovecraft Tea Party (I think) and the green word paper is Craftwork Cards. I have also used one of my brand new Nesties, I love this shape. The Swirls are from a Marianne die and pearls are Hobbyhouse. I have coloured the image in Pro-Markers, I have added a bit of Stardust Stickles to the flowers and wings.

Baby Boy~

Hi Girls~

I am going to be a.w.o.l. for the next two days, as I will be Facepainting at the Lakes Aquarium Saturday and Sunday all day.
I am really excited to be asked to go. I used to be a frequent employer during the holidays and would go about four times a year, however in 2009 when we had horrendous floods in this area, the Aquarium was badly damaged by floodwater and closed for quite a spell. It did open again but due to money issues I was not asked to work in 2010. I was very disappointed and was not sure if they would ever invite me back. A month ago I received an Email inviting me this weekend and a weekend in June, so I am delighted to be going back. It will be two days of very hard work, and I am so tired when I come home, but I have been going for the last 12 years, so know whats what!

Onto today's card. My daughters friend is due a baby at any moment and she has been told it will be a boy, I have made this card for her.
It is another of my Fizzy Moon stamp, I just cannot resist them, they are adorable and so nice to colour. I have four of them in all.
The paper I have used was free a few weeks ago in a magazine, I thought it was a bit "Blue", but it is for a baby boy after all so perhaps "Blue" is what it should be!
The bunting is made using the brilliant "Bunting" Hero Art stamps, they have been fantastic lately in my Scrapbooking, and because there are several different sizes and styles, they are just great.
The lovely border edging is done with a MS punch and I have added two ribbons one on top of the other. The sentiment is one of my Scrapbooking Velum stickers.

NOT another pink card.......

Hello Girls~

Oh no! I couldn't believe I made another "Pinky" card....sorry, it's not like me to get stuck in the "twilight zone"....BUT promise I will pick another colour for my next card!! Lol

Anyway this pinky/red card image is LOTV, Oh isn't it cute? I know quite a lot of you out there have this image, every time I see it I like it even more.
The papers I have used are one of the Nit Wit collections, actually it's not paper, it's a card stock and it's lovely to use. The red spotty paper is Kanban, sentiment is craftwork cards (it was not this colour, they are white, I have coloured it with my Pro-Markers) My image is coloured with Pro's as well. The ribbon is from my local market stall, and again the pearls are Hobbyhouse.

Easter Girl~

Hello Girls~

I am enjoying my first week off work, I did a few jobs in the house this morning before popping into town to do a spot of shopping....Even though it was not supposed to be "craft" shopping, I did have a "Little" spend on the market stall. I bought four sheets of dotty cardstock, some gorgeous s.e.i. wedding paper (I have invites to do soon, and I am doing a few mock up designs for my friend to see), and another Fizzy Moon stamp!!! I know it was not on my list but I couldn't help it, it's a Welcome New Baby image and I cannot wait to use it. I only really have one or two baby images, so it was nice to get another. I was told these stamps were £5 in The Range and Dunelm Mill, and when I looked in Dunelm Mill earlier (shopping for bedding) there they were hanging up for £4.99....The market stall where I get them from are only £2.99 each, what a bargain.

Onto today's creation!
I have coloured this gorgeous "Wee" image with Pro-Markers, and because I am still in my "Pink" mode I have chosen Pink again for the cardstock. This paper is Memory Box, I just love it, I have also used my Anna Griffin ribbon punch and threaded the cardstock through like a ribbon!
Instead of using flowers for the accents I wanted to try something different and was going to use buttons, I had a look around and came up with these flower brads I have had for ages, they work ok I think!
I have used a few Hobbyhouse pearls (cannot do without these!) The sentiment is one I found in my sentiment box, don't know who it's by. Image is coloured with Pro's.

Mo's Strawberry girl~

Hello Girls,

Wow...I am so glad I asked you all for your Top 3 Films of all time...It was brilliant to find out what floats all your boats, and so diverse too.

Today's card is all "Pink and Girly" and I don't need an excuse EVER to use an image by the brilliant Mo's Digital Pencil, this "Strawberry Girl" is one of my favorites, I love all her images. I have about 10 altogether and can spend hours looking through all her images on the blog, they are so sweet.

UNFORTUNATELY....I have taken two of the worst photo's EVER of my card....What is wrong with me lately, I know the light is not too good, but it should still look better than this!! It is supposed to be PINK, not ORANGE!! Neither photo is any good, Sorry.

THIS ONE IS JUST AS BAD!

Anyway onto the card..I have used some of these beautiful papers from First Edition "Love Letters" pad. The colours are gorgeous and if you like pink, then this is the pad for you. I bought this one from The Range a few weeks ago.
The image is coloured using Pro-Markers, the swirl is Magnolia, pearls are Hobbyhouse. The sentiment is part of the stamp set from the Fizzy Moon Bear stamp I used a few cards ago, very versatile. The little flower tabs on the side of the card are from a border die and I have cut them out. Finishing touch has lots of Stardust Stickles, but don't think it shows too well.

Get Well Soon~

Hi Girls,

I don't know about you but, I always need a Get Well or a Sympathy card at very short notice. I tend to make a couple and leave them until I need one or someone asks me for one and then I can say "Oh I have one made already would you like it"?

I have a few Sympathy cards made already. I bought a lovely Hero Art Sympathy set and did a couple to put away. But I noticed I had no Get Wells's, so I am making a few over the next week and this is one of them.

I have used the sweet LOTV image, I love this, isn't the little nurse cute?
I have used some Memory Box spotty paper, and I have embossed a strip of green card with Swiss dots to go across as a border. The little charm is something I picked up at Harrogate Craft Fair and thought it went well with it being a teddy!

Gone Fishing!

Hello Girls, hope you are all well.

Weather not quite as nice today as it was at the weekend, but I am not moaning, especially now I am off work until May 4th (Woo Hoo).
I have some work to do at the coming weekend (Facepainting at the Lakes Aquarium), just Saturday and Sunday, them I am not working again until May.

I made this latest card yesterday in between a bit of sunbathing, I had forgotten I had this stamped image from Sheila, I love this Sugar Nellie image, reminds me of when I used to go fishing with my dad when I was young.
Fishing was so boring, but funny at the same time. My dad wouldn't let me speak,(torture for me that!) And it was the only time HE was ever quiet as well! Lol.
I used to sit with him for hours on end, not speaking, (No Ipod's, Nintendo or iPhone then remember!!) So boring, and we caught NOTHING almost every time we went.
Those were the days, and now he has passed away I wish I was sat with him and the boring fishing rod now!

So Sugar Nellie fishing, coloured with Pro-markers. I have followed a couple of Monochromatic challenges, so tried to keep it as green as possible (and you all know how much I like green!)
Sorry about the awful photograph, the light was really bad and the camera needed charging.

Fizzy Moon Bear~

Hello Peeps~

Can you believe this weather?
My mum and sister are in Spain, they have said it is lovely hot weather there. I have been able to report back with "Same here"!
I always feel happy when it's like this. Hubby is out pottering in the garden, he loves it, and I love to see him out there. Occasionally he will shout "You could die of thirst in this Garden" and that's my cue to leave the Craft Room for 10 seconds and make him a drink! Lol

Before I get onto today's card can I share a Freebie with you. Its over at Digi Stamp Boutique, go take a look...

April Give-Away at Digi Stamp Boutique

Ok onto today's card.
I bought this sweet stamp (along with another one from the same set) Friday on my local market stall. Two girls Sue and Carol have run a haberdashery market stall for as long as I can remember. Sue adores her crafting and has managed to convince Carol to let her have half the stall for the sale of craft goodies.....Brilliant for us lot! She loves MS punches, Pro-markers and Nesties, so all those are on the stall, and she stocks House Mouse and other stamps too. This is one of hers, I saw Tab use it last week and when I saw it yesterday I couldn't resist but to buy it, and at £2.99 each they are nice and affordable.

So here it is, so cute. (The other I bought is this same teddy but carrying a huge bunch of flowers). The little signs are blank and the stamp comes with several words for you to fill it in, cool.
The words you get are Just, For, You, To, Say, Love, Special, Are, Great, Yours, I and Am. You could also choose your own words from any small stamps you have or use rub-on's to personalise them.
I have coloured my image with Pro-markers and have used a MS lace punch, and an Anna Griffin ribbon punch, and have used some Hobbyhouse gingham lemon ribbon through it and for the bows. A few little gems finish it off. A quick and simples card today!

For today's card I have chosen to use this cute GF image which I have neglected since before Christmas, she does make me laugh with the Cake on her head, and her mouth wide open!

The DP are from my bit box, so do not know who made them sorry. The paper I have used as the border with the numbers on It, I have also used to make these little flowers and the sentiment background, I used my latest Marianne die for this, don't think they were made as a flower but when I cut them I thought they would be great stacked up and a brad in the middle. I have used Tim Holzt Sage Burlap ink for round the edges, and scrunched them up beforehand. Quite pleased with the outcome.

So did it, that's my first DT card....Phew...
Wonder what will be next????

The Glam Dog Walker~

Hello Me Again~

What a lovely day again here weather wise, hope it lasts, love to see the garden coming out slowly with colour, it's nice not to be popping on a fleece every five minutes!

I had a little play this afternoon after I had done my jobs this morning, and I came up with this card for the challenge at The Pixie Cottage. As well as the sketch, as an optional extra they asked for paper piecing, I found this image a bit too "thin" to PP, so sorry I did not do that, even tho' it's one of my favorite things to do!

I have had this image a few weeks now, saw it on someones blog and thought "Oh I like that", then at Harrogate Craft Show there it was, I have been dying to use it, isn't she glamorous? It is made by Stampavie "The Vintage Chic Collection" and is one of Sarah k's.
At first I was going to leave it without any colour, wish I had now, it did look nice, but ended up using very muted pale pinks...
These lovely dark papers are from MME Stella Rose, Hattie collection. The sentiment is craftwork cards, flowers and Pearls are Hobbyhouse.

Gorjuss Girl Time~

Hi Girls,
A big thank you for your lovely comments on me being chosen as a Dt member for Sweet Stamping, I am very excited, and anxious at the same time, just hope I can be an asset to the fab team.
Don't forget to go take a lookie at mine and the other teams work on Saturday.

I wanted to join the challenge over at The Sugar Bowl and routed around for my GG stamp, knew I had not used her in an age so out she came, cute or what, I never get fed up of seeing her!

Papers are Basic Grey and some Swiss dot plain cardstock. The circle is a Nestie, as is the sentiment circle, sentiment is a craftwork cards. Pearls are Hobbyhouse, the image is coloured with a mix of copic's and pro-markers.

After the weekend I am off work until May 4th!!! Unreal isn't it? BUT along with Easter, May Day, Bank Holls and the Royal Wedding, I would have only been open one day between tomorrow and the end of April, so I will remain closed.
Mind you next weekend I am working at a local Aquarium Facepainting for two days.

Anyway as I have just had my Blog Birthday, and amazingly I have almost 100 followers (WOW), I will post some blog candy for my lovely followers after the weekend.

Happy Birthday to me.....

No it's not my Actual Birthday (that's Christmas Day!) It's my BLOG BIRTHDAY....I have been blogging a year today. Wow how time flies when you are having fun!
I was going to post some Blog Candy before the weekend, BUT 'cos I have been asked to join the Sweet Stamping Design Team, I am going to hold off just for now, until I have more time and then post some nice candy I have ready for my followers...

I wasn't sure being part of a team is what I wanted to do, I tend to blog for myself sort of doing what I want, when I want...
I don't usually like to do things I am not prepared for, BUT when Fi offered a short term DT members slot I thought why not give it a go and see how it goes, I am sure it will be fun and if I am not suited to it, then no harm has been done!
I am so excited and really looking forward to seeing my card on the Sweet Stamping Blog. On Saturday you will see my post about the challenge and when you pop over....Da dar...There it will be (hopefully If I have done it right!!LOL)
OMG do they know what they have let themselves in for asking me!!

Shabby Chic LOTV~

Hello Ladies~

What a day, work was a bit hectic, Stating Wednesday I have half my staff off on holiday and we are managing without having to bring in any cover. It's certainly going to be fun!!

When I got in from work there was a lovely Email waiting for me from Abi, welcoming me to the team at Sweet Stamping Challenge Blog, how exciting is that? Cannot wait to join in with the girls, so here's to the next few months of fun and madness!!

I have had a TRY! at Shabby Chic on my latest card, I have to admit I do like this style, but I always feel I have not quite managed it....so here it is and true to form, I don't feel 100% happy with it, but it's done now so hay ho!

I am going to be busy Scrapbooking tonight, so no more cards for a day or two, have not asked permission yet if I am allowed to show any of the LO's but if I get a yes I will let you see some. I am really enjoying this latest book, it's all set in The USA, Vegas, New York, San Fransisco to name but a few and the photographs are gorgeous, a bit of a challenge, but really nice to do.

For today's card I have used this gorgeous LOTV image I have just bought, and the DP's are Prima Botanical. I have inked all the edges of the papers with walnut stain Tim Holtz ink and also used his tool to rough up the edges. I have used various different rubber stamps to stamp all over the background, (script, butterfly and flower stamps). The flowers are Hobbyhouse, sentiment is LOTV and the image is coloured with Copic's and Pro-Markers.

DT For Sweet Stamping!!

Hello Girls,

Just a quick post to tell you all I have been given the chance to be part of the Design Team for Sweet Stamping Challenge Blog.
How nice that feels, as I have been Blogging exactly a year tomorrow!

The lovely Fi asked me last week.....
Do they know what they have let themselves in for? I am not the sharpest knife in the box, and haven't got a clue what I am doing!!
Poor girls, they will be fed up with me already (all the what do I do questions!) and I haven't even started yet. LOL
I am very privileged to be given the chance and cannot believe they think my work is worth appearing, I will try to be a good DT girls, be patient with me. Thank you all. Debbiexx

Looks a bit like Rain~

Hello Girls,

A big Happy Mother's Day to you all, hope you enjoyed it.
My lovely daughter bought me a "skin" for my Miche handbag (in case you don't know, these handbags are fantastic and you buy different skins that are magnetic and fit onto the bag, genius idea and my latest one is brown and cream, lovely.
My son bought me the next best thing to "A Micro Pig, (which is what I wanted!) He bought me a wicker plant pot for the garden in the shape of a pig!! It was full of lovely flowers. LOL It is gorgeous, I did laugh when he made a pig noise when he gave it me!!

I have managed to have a bit of a crafty afternoon. I have been doing more Scrapbooking, but just before tea managed to make this little card.
I was very unsure of the colours when I first made it, but it has grown on me a bit, and I like the sketch set by Totally Gorgeous.

I have used the Lovely Sugar Nellie Heather rubber stamp, (It's ages since she has been out the box!)
Papers are MME Stella Rose "Gertie", these are adorable a really good mix of different colours. I have also used some Craftwork Cards card candy and the flower is by them too.
Not sure who makes these sentiments, but I bought them for my Scrapbooking (came in handy for this card tho') This one is by Longfellow and says "Into every life a little rain must fall", very true!
The lace punch edge is a MS and I used a Nestie scalloped oval.

What's Up Ducky?

Hello Ladies, Hope I find you all well. Thank you for the lovely comments telling me how nice you think my Nana sounds...She is a sweetheart, glad you think so too~

Saturday Afternoon already....
Zumba Dancing this morning went well, I am always wrecked after I have been, but it does set me up for the day, gives me vital energy when I am tired.
Mother's Day Sunday, my Mother-in-Law will get a visit tomorrow, but my mum's visit is today as she is going on holiday with my sister later tonight.

I made this card yesterday, but I was far too busy to post it until now...
It's a bit different to the usual "Girly" card, decided to do something to make me smile a bit more and these two "Luvy Duvy" ducks always do that. I have a friend's Anniversary coming up next month, so thought I would take the time to make their card in advance, hope you like it.

I have used this Penny Black Ducks stamp, Hero Art circle flower stamp and also by Hero Arts this script and Butterfly stamp. The Sentiment is from the LOTV, flowers are Hobbyhouse, leaf is a NS punch, and the colouring is done with my pro-markers.
