Saturday at Sweet Stampin'

Hi All
Another week bites the dust, where is the time going to! Can I have it back please!!

This week at Sweet Stampin',  the theme is "Balls", interpret this how you wish, I have decided to go all "Boyish", and have used this lovely LOTV Football image.
The papers are all leftovers from my box, I have made the button myself out of circles of card and punched two holes in the middle. The image is coloured with Pro-Markers.
We are sponsored this week by My Mum's Craft Shop/Saturated Canary.

Hot or what!

Hello Ladies
Hope you are all well and enjoying this splendid hot weather we are having, infact today it's overcast where I am, still hot tho'.

I have been really busy lately getting ready for my week at Summer School which starts a week tomorrow. I am excited and a bit apprehensive at the same time, I know it will be full on with the projects I have set up for the children.
They will be making a giant canvas, a working mdf cog clock, a money box, a Zutter Journal Book and a couple of other smaller projects, so should be a good fun week.

Today I want to show you a card I made a few weeks ago but never got round to posting.

I have used one of my new flower stamps by Penny Black called Letters and Flowers, isn't it lovely?
I have used the Straight to Stamp technique and used Tim Holtz Distress Markers, it's a very easy technique using these great markers.
The flower is by Di-Namic, the pearls are Hobby House, the Sentiment is by LOTV and the papers are all from my leftover box.

It's Wedding Season~

Hi Girls, and a Big Hello to my New Followers, you are welcome and I hope you enjoy my Blog.

As it's Wedding Season I get asked for quite a few cards from family and friends.
I bought this Stampin' Bella image a few months ago as I was using my favourite LOTV image for all my Wedding cards. Although I love that image I did want another to use as well, so this is it, and I love it, hope you do too.

I have used some Basic Grey papers, a LOTV sentiment, a few flowers from my stash, a doily and some white sheer ribbon.
The image is coloured with Pro-Markers.

It's about time I showed you this Gorgeous Prima Doll Tag that my Blog Friend Dawn of Luckydawn's Blog sent me when we did a Swap a few months ago.
Dawn has already posted on her blog the one I made for her, and now it's my turn to show you hers, isn't it just lovely. It was such a good idea swapping it and we plan to do others!

Thank you Dawn, I love it.

Thank You Card

Hi Girls
Hot or what (It's about time tho')
Really enjoying eating and sitting outside, the only downside is that the Blog gets a tad neglected...

I have a Thank You card to show you today.
My Mum has finally had her Hip Replacement Operation, and is doing ok. She asked me to send a box of Shortbread and a thank you card to the Unit, so this is the card I made for them last night.

I have used a Topper I had stashed away, think it might be LOTV from ages ago but not sure. The papers are Prima, the punched edge is MS, the pearls and Flowers are Hobby House. The Sentiment is also LOTV.

Guess Where I am?

Hi Girls

I am so excited to tell you that when you read this I will be on my way (with my lovely mate Angie) to the LOTV shop over in Leeds.
We have never been before and are just so excited (especially as they have a Brand New Set of Stamps being launched at the shop today!!!) OOOOOooo can hardly wait to get there!

As the shop is about 2 and a half hours from where we live we are doing a "Combination" trip!!
That means we are going to the LOTV shop then over to Art from the Heart (where we will be doing a taster workshop with the fabulous Kate Crane, I can hardly contain myself!!

I leave you today with a card I made for my Friend's Anniversary which is tomorrow.

MDF Alter Stuff~

Hello Girls~

Not very nice weather again here today, no washing out blowing in the breeze and no lunch outside...Yak!

I have a couple of MDF Altered items to show you today. It is my friend's Wedding Anniversary on Saturday, and as well as a nice bottle of wine, I wanted to make them something. They are the sort of friends who love handmade projects, so I know they are going to like what I have made them, hope you like it too.

I have used some Basic Grey heavy weight paper in this cream and red colour (the colour of my friend's Bedroom) and stamped the image for the front with a stamp from my Inkilicious set.

I coloured the image with Tim Holtz Distress markers. The flowers are all die cut using several of my dies. I have painted the MDF with a wash of Gesso to prime, then used Do Crafts Acrylic Paint in Sand. These are lovely paints and have a really nice consistency, very good price at £1.50 each as well. Tons of colours to choose from too, including some pearl and translucent colours. I bought mine in the Range, but they have them at my local craft shop too.
I managed to buy some note block refills at the local Ryman's, so that was an easy option for the Note Blocks, I really did not fancy cutting lots of papers at 4x4 to put inside, and this way they are all the perfect size too!!
