A Great Workshop~

Hello Ladies~

Thought you might like to hear about my day yesterday........
I ran a Craft Workshop for my lovely Lady Friends.

It was a fabulous day and the 11 girls who attended made a wonderful Easel, using pretty papers, plenty of Ink, and gorgeous rubber stamping.

Aren't they just gorgeous.

Unfortunately I did not manage to take a close up photo, so the Easels are not seen too clearly, but please take my word for it when I say they are absolutely gorgeous and even though they are all very similar (as the papers used were all from the same family) they are all so individual and have their own style.
Wow Girls you did do a wonderful job, thank you for making the day so great.
Not long before we are doing it all again!

Little Wooden House~

Hello Lovely Blog Friends
A Big Thank you for all the wonderful comments you leave for me I really do appreciate them.

I have a little Wooden House to show you today. I have made this for my coming Spring Craft Fair (12th April). They have always sold very well and the Christmas ones were a great hit last year.
I spend quite a lot of time hunting for little objects to pop on the shelves of these houses, but that's all part of the fun of making them. People seem to like the little scrabble tiles I use, I can make alsorts of words from them including names and little sentiments like this "Home" on today's house.

I have recently made two more of these houses as Commissions for two friends, but I forgot to photograph them before I gave them out!! One house was a Sand colour the other was Aqua. They all have similar little bits and bobs on the shelves. On one of the houses the lady gave me a swatch of fabric from her curtains and I used a circle from it, then popped it inside a Bottle Top and stuck this to the wall one of the shelve walls. You can just see a bottle cap used in this way in the bottom left box on this house.

The papers used in the house are all leftover bits n' bobs from my stash, as you only need tiny pieces this is a great way of using them up!
The paint is a tub of Do-crafts in Dove Grey, they have a lot of shades in these Acrylics especially made for Crafters they are lovely and creamy and easy to use.

Hi there Ladies~

Well it's Saturday again...I am sure someone steals a couple of days in the week (Wednesday & Thursday I reckon!!) and then sends us straight to Saturday again!!!
Happy Easter to you all. I am just chilling and crafting while Hubby is busy as a bee in the Garden. He is doing a grand job, it is looking beautiful out there!

Anyway Saturday it is, so another Challenge over at Sweet Stampin'....and it's one for EVERYONE...It is "Lot's of Layers"...Oooo goodie goodie, layer it up I say!!
Our Sponsors this week are Heather Ellis and Marianne Designs.

So for my Card this is what I came up with this week.
I have chosen a Heather Ellis image, and have used my Pro-Markers to colour in. The papers are Do-Crafts, the doily is by Tim Holtz and the doodle stamp is by Inky Doodles.

Thank you for calling by.

Little Easel~

Hello Ladies

Hope you weather is as nice as ours at the moment.
Hubby has been busy getting the Garden looking nice, (and as it's only 9 weeks off me going to Spain,) I need to get out there and start my "Tanning"!

Once I got all my cleaning jobs out the way earlier, I had a lovely afternoon of crafting.
I have several things on the go. Tomorrow I am posting my DT card for Sweet Stampin' and I am also working on a Holiday Scrapbook for my Sister (from our recent trip to Spain for her 50th Birthday,)
the photo's are brilliant, and they are looking great in the book).

I have also finished a couple of commissions I have had to finish too....busy busy busy....Like it like that tho'. Hubby has now gone out Beer Drinking, so it's another fun night of craft ahead!

I made this Little Easel a week ago. These are so nice to alter and make a lovely change from Cardmaking. They come almost complete, just need to pop out of the carrier sheet and a touch of glue for the Panel to sit on.
I started by using a LOTV script stamp to stamp all over the Easel itself.
I then stared to paint the Panel in Aqua Acrylic colour by Do-Crafts, then Matted it on some Anna Marie Kraft Card.
I then used some Pion Papers from Which Crafts and inked all the edges. I adore these papers, they are all just so beautiful.
The "Live in the Moment" stamp is one of my oldest and most favourite, I use this in my Scrapbooking alot and on this Easel I think it looks lovely and Swirly!
The border and Cut Out are from a sheet of Graphic 45 Paper (the Garden party).

Happy Birthday Iris Rae~

Hello Girls~
Hope you are all well, thank you so much for the lovely comments you leave for me, much appreciated.

I have a card to show you today. I have made this for my Great Niece, Iris Rae, she will be 2 at the end of April, she is a real cutie so I hope she will like this sweet little fairy on the card (if she doesn't then her Mum Leah will love it....LOL)

This is a photo of Iris, taken just last weekend. She loves my Pot Pig called "Delores" and always asks to see her when she calls, mind you she knows she's not allowed to play with her, just to look at her!! This is her doing her best, I am just looking and not touching act!!
(She does however always give her a kiss right on the flat end of Delores's snout!!)

And the Card:

The image is a New Stamp I bought a few weeks ago at Port Sunlight. It is by Sherri Baldy called My-Besties, cute eh?
The papers are MME, the little Kite is a die from Memory Box, the Alphabet Stamps are a new set from Inky Doodles called "Stitched Alphabet". the image is coloured with Pro-Markers.

Chicken Girl~

Hi Girls~

Dreadful rainy weather here today, so after all my jobs this morning and into the afternoon, I have finally had a wee play.

I bought this Stampotique Wooden Stamp a couple of weeks ago from Art From the Heart shop, (they have a great Stampotique collection, you can find them here).
This stamp is called "Chicken" which did make me laugh, and I just love her. As with all stampotique Stamps she is a bit scarey, but I like her little swing dress which I have PP.

I started with a Prima Doll Tag which I chopped a bit smaller and covered in papers which were free in a Scrapbook Magazine. I have also used ink through a couple of Mask/Stencils in the background, the lace effect in Aqua is a Tim Holt's mask and the one I have done in red ink is a Sunburst by Crafters Workshop (love this one).
I have used several different bits of Washi Tape including the "Love" which I think looks a bit like a rub on!
The little bird is a rubber stamp too but no idea who's make as it's in a plain packet.
"Chicken" is coloured with Pro-Markers.

No Way...An "Easter" card!!

Hi there~

I cannot believe I am showing you an "Easter Card".......It can't be that time of year yet...can it?

Well that's the theme this week at "Sweet Stampin'" anyway, so here is my interpretation. I don't make any Easter cards for myself, but am always happy to do a commission for one if asked.
Our Sponsors this week are "Crafty Devils".

This card is a bit of a "Craftwork Cards" fest.....This nice shaped easel card is one of theirs, I don't often use this shaped card but wanted to use something different for the image of "Warren" the rabbit (also by Craftwrok Cards) and lastly these adorable papers are also from one of their new Block Pads.
The flowers are cut from a Die-Namic's die, and the Sentiment is a LOTV set which I love. All finished off with some Aurora Borealis gems from Mei Flowers.

Relax and Enjoy

Hello Girls

Thank you for all the lovely comments you have been leaving me, I really do appreciate all of them.

I have had a busy day today and not had any chance to Craft 'till tonight. I had Zumba early this morning, then I had some sewing jobs to do (which took me a little longer than expected) then I finished my Commission for 89 Wedding Table Name Setting. These have been a real joy to do, and I finished them quite quickly once I had an example made.

So onto tonight's project.

It is another card for one of my Daughter's Work Friend's. A retirement card.
I went straight for this LOTV Art Pad Topper for this card, just love this one, the boy in his cap on his old fashioned deck chair, with dog and book at his feet....I think is just perfect.
The papers are MME, and the Sentiment is also LOTV. The little stick on button is K & co and the sweet little banner is Memory Box.
