Outdoor Adventure~

Hello Girls,

Can you believe it is JULY? No! Neither can I. How quick did June pass by? Scary!!

I have been to work this morning, but this afternoon has been TENNIS and more TENNIS to come too.....Look...there is only another two days left and it's all over with for another year.

Today's card is one I finished last night before bed. I have chosen the lovely Sketch over at The Sugar Bowl, and of course used a Sugar Nellie image to go with it. Lucky for me I have just bought this "Gorgeous" Sugar Nellie stamp called "Outdoor Adventure", Isn't she adorable, a very grown up image.

I've teamed her with new papers from the First Edition Summer Breeze pad, and bunting and sentiment from Craftwork Cards. Lastly I have added pearls from Hobbyhouse, used an Anna Griffin border punch and a NS punched flower.

The Little Mermaid~

No not the Disney film, my latest card.

Mind you my daughter and I LOVE "The Little Mermaid" film, (and the songs, like "Under the Sea" and "Part of your World")!
Actually my daughter loves ALL the Disney films, not surprising for a girl I hear you say.....Well no it isn't, but she is 20 years old now, but that does not stop her!! LOL

I have been wanting to use this lovely Tilda Mermaid stamp for a while now, she has only been stamped once and I have had her ages! Naughty me!
All the other stamps used such as the Seahorse, Seaweed and bubbles are also Magnolia, but my friend Angie bought me these to go with her, and they do, they are so sweet. The sentiment is a Crafty Individual Stamp, I picked this up at Port Sunlight recently for £2, what a bargain!!

I have use a swirly "water" type paper which came this morning in My Scrapbook Magazine, It goes perfect as water once the swirls are cut into. The doily that the image is stamped onto is a Marianne die, I don't use it very often, it is very large. This card is 6x6 and it almost fills the whole frame, but I thought it worked ok with all the different stamps I was using. Image is coloured with Pro-Markers, and I have highlighted with some Stardust stickles, mock stitching & Hobbyhouse pearls.

On a non-craft subject the amazing Roger Federer is out of Wimbledon, boo hoo, but my second favorite Rafa Nadal, is thankfully still on track. I am not a Murray fan, but I do think he is playing brilliantly, but cannot see anyone beating Rafa if he is having a good day, lets just hope he is!!!

GDT Card for Pro-Markers

Hi Girls,

Unfortunately this is my forth and last card for the "I Love Pro-Markers" GD spot.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the team for asking me to join them over the past four weeks, I have loved every minute of it, and hope you were happy with the cards I made for you.
I will not be going very far (you don't get rid of me that easy!) You know I love your Blog and Challenges, so look out for me joining in with you all soon!

This weeks card for the challenge is to "Use Flowers" and is sponsored by Di's Digi Downloads, and this gorgeous "Summer" Teddy is one of their images, go take a look at some of the other's they have they are lovely.
This image is obviously coloured with my favorite medium..Pro-Markers..
The papers are from my stash, just leftovers, the gorgeous border and corner punch is a punch around the page from MS, and I have used lots and lots of Hobbyhouse Pearls.

Although for this challenge we were asked to use flowers, as you can see I have not used any 3d flowers, I hope the other flowers on the paper, image and the punches are enough. I Did not want to use anymore than these thought it would look too busy.

Come Fly With Me~

Hello Girls,

Thank you for asking how I am feeling, I am glad to report my shoulder is alot better.

I have a Monochrome card to share with you today. I do a few of these every now and again!!
I think they are perfect for writing "Snail Mail" to people, and my Mum-in-Law uses lots of them, every now and then I make her a stack of these type of cards to use for her correspondence. I think she might like this Balloon and clouds image by American Crafts, so I will make some more. I have noticed that I have put one of the clouds on "Wonky", Oh heck don't know how that happened, and I haven't even had a drink!!

I have kept with the B&W theme, this dotty and Swiss dot cardstock is Kanban and I have used a MS border punch on the edge. The stick on black brads are from Sandylion.

Get Well Soon Edwin~

Hello Girls,

Hope I find you all well on this very odd "warm but not sunny" Saturday~

No Zumba for me today (or Thursday), cannot risk making my shoulder any worse, so it has been nice to have a lazy start to the day, then an even lazier afternoon watching tennis and crafting....Bliss. Mind you crafting takes me three times as long whilst watching every stroke!

Another "New" stamp for me in the Magnolia range. This is again one of my Glitter Pot Sale stamps, isn't Edwin so sweet? Look at him with his little Rose, saying "Feel better soon"....ahh

I followed the colour scheme over at Allsorts after seeing Fleur's gorgeous card. I am not a lover of yellow, but those who know me know I love green...However teaming them up was not as bad as I thought, and I am quite pleased with the end result.
My husbands Auntie has just had an operation and I thought this card would be perfect for her as she is a very good gardener and I know she loves roses!
The papers are a bit of a mix...Prima, gdc and The Memory Box. I have used some of these sweet little "Raindrop" acrylic beads, not sure of the make, but I have loads of them in loads of colours. I like these on a boys/mans card, feel they are a bit more masculine than the pearls!

Fun in the Sun~

Hello Girls,
I am pleased to say my shoulder is feeling much better, not right yet, but better.
I have had the whole week off work (that's three day's for me!) but with the weekend coming up and a few more days to rest it, by Monday I think I will be able to return to work.

I had a little spend last weekend at "The Glitter Pot", they had a large sale and amongst their items were quite a few Magnolia stamps......So I had a treat!!
Why not? Ha Ha.
Anyway I bought about 6 Magnolia stamps and this one I have used is one of them, isn't she sweet? She just looks so happy doesn't she?

I have used some of my leftover papers from a card I made a few days ago (I don't like to waste anything, and If I like the papers I always want to use all of it!)
The image is coloured with Pro-Markers, but I did not mean her to have such a wishy washy lemony/orange dress, don't know what colour I was going for, I did tyr them out but, It wasn't supposed to look like this. Not to worry at least she looks quite summery.

I have used a lovely LOTV round sentiment. I do have a round "Summer" sentiment which I wanted to use, but I have searched the whole craft room and cannot find it anywhere!!
The flowers are a mix from my box, but the small green ones are Prima Tiny Tots and are very nice to use.
I decided to get my sewing machine out for this card, and glad I did, I think the stitched look is great, I just don't do it enough. I used to sew for a living, I used to run my own business making soft furnishing from home, a long time ago now (pre-kids), but I am a dab hand at making a pair of curtains!!

Mo said "Tag It"~

Hi Girls,

Thought I would share my latest card with you all. It's one of Mo's Digital Images, I think Mo's images are my favorites out of all the images I have. There is just something so lovely about them. This one has been used by me over and over again. I love it.
I had originally chosen pink and green papers, but I used that colour combo on my last card, so scouted about to find another colour to go with the green...then I spotted this gorgeous gingham ribbon and thought...Ah ha RED!
I am really pleased how it has turned out, this TAG shape the image and sentiment are on is from a set of Go Create Tags. I have coloured the image with Pro-markers and Marvey markers, I have used stardust stickles on the wings and some Craftwork Cards candy in green. The green and red flower papers are from my g.d.c. pad, and I have used a gorgeous Crafty Individuals giant postcard tag.

DT For Sweet Stampin--Things with Wings.

Hi Girls,

Here I am with this weeks card for the Sweet Stampin challenge, which is "Things with Wings"...Great challenge, so get over there with your creations.
Our Sponsor is the fab Pollycraft and my card is made using one of their gorgeous Fairy's.

I have used some lovely Bo-Bunny shaped paper, (the shape looks like a nestie/go create) but it's not, the papers are just like this and you cut them out.
The image is a Pollycraft Fairy. The sentiment is by LOTV, these are just gorgeous and I have used a nestie to mount it on. The Roses and leaves are the Creatables and the "Grass" border punch is by MS. I have inked the papers and then added some stardust stickles around the edges and on the fairy wings.

Beautiful Daisy~

Hello All~

Not been a very nice day for me today.
My Nana, who is 94 years old, is not very well and I have been up to visit her and my mum (who looks after her) three times today. Unfortunately she looks awful and has been in bed for the last few days. Not like her at all. The doctor has been several times, but she does not want to go into hospital, she wants to stay at home with my mum. My sister and I have just kept going up to see if we can do anything for them both. She is amazing and at 94 has a better memory than me! Just have to hope she is feeling better soon.
I won't be around the next two days (in the daytime, but should be able to visit you all in the evenings) as I am at the Lakes Aquarium Facepainting all weekend.

I want to share a card with you tonight which I made this afternoon and finished off tonight.

The image is the Beautiful Daisy by Sugar Nellie. She is not my stamp unfortunately, I have borrowed her off my friend Bev, thank you for that Bev, she is just lovely.
My papers are all leftover bits from my stash, flowers are cut with a NS punch and I have again used a few Hobbyhouse pearls (you know they are my favorite thing to use) LOL. Daisy is coloured using Pro-Markers.

Gone Fishing~

Hello Ladies,

Thank you to all my wonderful followers for your really lovely comments, I love to read them, you always make my day, thank you all.

Last night before bed I made this Tilda card, using one of my "New" purchases from The Glitter Pot, What a bargain it was and isn't she so sweet?

I know I am a "Saddo" and am a tad embarrassed to tell you that I made this card while I was watching....."Gladiator" on tv!!!!!!!!!!
I know what you are thinking....I said those exact same words about three nights ago....I just cannot help it, I have this "thing" when Gladiator is on, I just cannot NOT watch it, even tho' I have the Special Edition version on DVD!!!
Oh, I am a right anorak aren't I, I am sure I sometimes could be sectioned for what I do. LOL

These papers are Kanban, Dawn Bibby range, very pretty in pink and blue. I have used a LOTV sentiment, (did anyone get any of their new "Girly" stamps when they were launched the other night?) I did, managed to get 6 of them, so cute and very girly!
The image is coloured with Pro-Markers and the blue string is by Kars, the pearls are Hobbyhouse and the little fish is just from my charm stash.

I would like to enter this Tilda into the following:

GDT ~ Card For I Love Pro-Markers

Hi Girls,

This is my second card for the GDT I Love Pro-Markers blog. The challenge this week is Black, White and One other Colour, so as you can see my "other" colour is red.
I always think red goes well with B&W. This stunning image (not one of my own unfortunately, thank you Margaret for letting me stamp her) is a Leanne Ellis creation, I think it's a beautiful image and is such a lovely image to colour. I have stamped and embossed this one, then coloured with Pro-Markers.

I have used some Craftwork cards B&W flower paper, and red gingham from my stash. I have used quite a few Hobbyhouse pearls, and some flowers from my stash. The border punch is a MS.

Hello Tilda, Where Have You Been?

Hi Girls,
I hope you are all having nice weather where you are. It is supposed to be June you know!! Actually it's quite nice here.

I am a tad tired today.....(what's new on a Saturday, after my hour's workout at ZUMBA this morning). I love Zumba, but I am wrecked for a while after it.
I can only have a short rest though, as my lovely best friend Angie is coming to have an evening meal with me and Chris later on, then we are going to watch the final of "So you think you can Dance". I like all the people left in the competition, so it will be nice to see who wins. Angie I think, would like to see the gorgeous "Luke" win.
Oh hec, I think I can feel a few G&T's and a couple of Pimms coming on, and oh ye a nice red wine with the meal!!

I started to make today's card last night before bed. I was crafting and watching one of my all time favorite films EVER.....Gladiator. OMG Russel Crowe in a skirt....What more could any woman want? No! don't answer that!! I know lots of people (women) who really don't like him, but not me, I think I am in such awe of him as an actor It just attracts me to him....Right enough of that now....

Tilda, Oh Tilda where have you been? That's what I am saying. It seems ages since I used one of the beautiful girls I own.
I have just placed an order at the "Glitter Pot" for four Tilda's, so cannot wait for them to come. Not sure which I ordered now!! But I will be using a few more images of this sweet girl over the next few weeks.

Today's card..
I have used some leftover papers from my stash, an American Crafts pleated flower, some pearl pins, a LOTV sentiment and a Tim Holtz swirl, the border punch is MS, and the image is coloured with Pro-Markers.

GDT Card For ~I Love Pro-Markers~

Hi Girls,

Hope you are all having a lovely Wednesday. I have made My very first card as a GDT member for I Love Pro-Markers. I was delighted to be given (by Karen) this fabulous sketch to follow, for this weeks challenge.

I bought this CC image last week off Ebay along with another very similar and thought it went well with this sketch and these "dark" colour papers. I was a touch worried my card was going to look abit "Wintry" with these First Edition "Desert Blooms" papers, but I quite like the finished card.

The image is obviously coloured with the brilliant Pro-Markers, my flowers are various blooms from my stash, but a few are Hobbyhouse as are the pearls. The sentiment is by Craftwork Cards. The lovely border is cut on the cuttlebug using a scrapping Cottage die. The butterfly's are MS.

Sweet Stampin DT card~~LOTV

Hello Girls,

A Scheduled post today for the Sweet Stampin ~ "Playing in the Summer sun" challenge.
Our Sponsors this week are the fabulous "LOTV", who doesn't love their images?

I have chosen this lovely "Little Boy" image, I have not inked him up since last year, so it was really nice to be able to use him on this card.

I have coloured him with Pro-Markers. The papers are "Walk in the Park" by American Crafts. I have used a small "Sun" charm from my box. The button is handmade, I love doing this, I take about 6/8 small circles (these are cut with a Nestie, but sometimes I cut them on the Cricut Machine) and glue them together, then put a couple of holes in the middle, finished off with some Kars Green Cord. The little ticket sentiment is from Wiff of Joy, I like these because some have sentiments on already, and in this case this ticket is blank and then I added the "For a great friend" onto it.
I hope the colours are ok for the lovely challenge at Cupcake this week. I think I have all the colours asked for, but perhaps Lemon should have been a bit more prominent!!

Hello Girls,
What super weather today, so hot, just how I like it. The garden has never looked so good! (all down to Hubby, not me!)

I have been asked to GDT for I love Pro-Makers (My favorite medium) just for the month of June. I was so delighted to be part of such a great Blog Challenge, I will be making four cards over the next four weeks for them and cannot wait.

Tonight's card has an adorable LOTV image on, I like the LOTV fairy's, the cute and more grown up ones, this of cause is one of the "Cute" ones.
I have used all leftover papers, my favourite MS border punch, coloured with Pro-Markers and lots of flowers and bling (actually a little too much!!!)
Not 100% happy with this one, but I am a bit tired tonight so hopefully I will be happier with my next card.
