Hello Birdie!!

Hello Ladies~

It's another Saturday (boy they come round quick don't they?)
Well that means Challenge time over at Sweet Stampin', and this weeks theme is "Take Flight", so that's anything that flies!! Remember we are a Stampin' Challenge, so a bit of stamping somewhere on your project please!
Our sponsors this week are Crafty Ribbons.

So my Project this week is a "Little Easel"....I love making these, they are so cute and measure about 6x4 on the little matt part.
You can use them Landscape or Portrait, and they come all flat packed, so they need a little preparing, but they are easy peasy. You can find them here at Pinflair.

I covered the Easel part with pretty torn papers and distressed the edges with inks. I used the Tim Holtz Bird Cage Die (which I love) then I added Flowers from my stash, a K&co plastic button and some pearls to finish. I have stamped the little LOTV Tag under the flowers with Momento Coco Ink.

Oooooo I love a Win!

Hi Girls...
Is it HOT enough for you!!
Wow never felt it like this before, it's soooooo hot, amazing. Cannot remember eating outside this much, we love it.
We have just had a fab BBQ, so off to the Gym now to work it all off!!

I will be back tomorrow with a card to show you, but thought you would like to see what I won with the Craft Stamper Magazine. OMG isn't it fantastic. The whole Graphic 45 "Men's" papers, stamps and Embellishments.
I have already contacted the Editor to say a big thank you. Always worth sending a Postcard into the Magazine, you never know what you might win for the price of a Stamp!!

New House Card.

Hi Girls~

A big Hello to all my New Followers, and a big thank you for all the lovely comments you leave for me, much appreciated.

The Weather has been a little hit and miss the last couple of days, storms all over the place, including the Wirral where the golf is being played (childhood home of My Hubby!)

Tomorrow I have a Summer Vintage Fair with Bessie Mate Angie, we have made lots of lovely things, just need plenty of people through the door, spending money now, so fingers Crossed!

I have a card for you tonight. It is made for one of my Friend's Son's who is in the middle of renovating his new house, so I haven't actually given it to him yet!
The Image is from a LOTV Art pad, the Sentiment is also LOTV, the border punch is one I have had for years and is a go to as I love it, it's from the Anna Griffin range. The life brad is from Snap Studio. The papers are a mystery, not sure where they came from!

Charisma--Anything Goes

Crafty Catz--Hot Summer

Fab n' Funky--Feels like Summer

LOTV--Use two LOTV products

MAWTT--Colour Ch

The "C" word in July, Not Again!

Hi Girls~

It was not my idea to do a "C" Theme in July, it was the lovely team over at Sweet Stampin'.
Thank you girls, you got me started on my "C" stack!!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE "C", after all it's my Birthday that day too.....But in July!!
A tad early for me really, but I do realise it is NEVER too early to start Cardmaking.
I usually start in October, but this is my first EVER in July.....

So here it is, hope you like:

I bought this Wild Rose Studio Stamp last month from Samuel Taylors, and it was in the sale. I don't have any Penguin stamps, so I just had to have him/her when I saw it.
I Coloured with Pro-Markers, used one of my Snowflake embossing Folders for the background and a touch of Holly paper and a piece of black cardstock. The "Wish upon a Star" sentiment was on with the image. Nice and Easy.

Christmas in July....Never been known in this house!

Hello Girls~

A Big Hello to all my New Followers, and thank you all for the lovely comments you have left for me and the lovely messages about the photo of me, Mum and Sister. Much Appreciated.

What a busy week last week was, no doubt the same is yet to come!
I had tons of Commissions to finish, a Large Kaiser Craft box advent to finish for a friend's Wedding Anniversary yesterday, A Craft Fair Sale Saturday and other "housey" jobs to fit in inbetween....A woman's work is never done!!

So here is that Advent to show you all.
It is the second one I have made, and have a few orders for them too. They are not cheap to make (they cost over £25 in their Raw state) but they are so much fun to do and I have really enjoyed making them (even though they do take a few days to complete!)
I started off assembling the frame, I then painted it with Amsterdam paints in red. I made up all the little boxes glueing each one, painting them then adding little squares of Christmas papers to each side. The numbers (which come in the kit) I then dipped in gold ink and embossed using clear powder to give them a gold shiny look. The 8x8 central paper (with the vintage Father Christmas on) is from Pion Papers, oh these are so lovely.
All finished off with a splatter of stickles glue, a poinsettia, and some scrabble tiles (I pick up the games at any charity shop!)
VoilĂ .....

The Advents can be found here:

Here are the flowers my Bestest Friend Angie gave me from her beautiful garden, thank you sweetie they smell so lovely!

Back from Spain, Brown, no Voice and Full of Smiles~

Buena Noches Girls (that's good evening in Spanish....I know, I go to Spain for a week and think I am Spanish now!!   LOL

Anyway I am back and did not even get a day off before it was hard at it CRAFTING.
Waiting for me were a stack of commissions which I spent all day yesterday doing.
Today was Ironing Day (the basket looked like a peak on K2...That's just slightly smaller than Everest for those who like to know!!)
Obviously I can iron, watch Raffa Nadal and the football all at the same time......But we all know women have always been able to multi-task haven't we?

My card today is one of my Commissions, hope you like it.

Not sure if these papers are Kaisercrafts, they are all leftovers from my box. Image is LOTV art Pad and finished off with a little chipboard Giraffe, and a few tiny buttons.

~Backs to the Mediterranean~

I would also like to share a photo of Me, My Sister Mandy and My lovely Mum Beryl, we were on one of our shopping spree's on the Beach....The Clothes Shops are fantastic and a really good price too.

My Suitcase was over by 1kg going. The lovely lady on the Jet2 desk let me off.....
On the way back home (after shopping all week) it was by 4.5 over.....More smiles needed to the "drop dead gorgeous" Jet2 Spanish Bloke. At first he said Ooh No....Then after I pretended I was crying he said I won't make you take your 20 pairs of new shoes out (had he had a quick look!!). He then let me off.........There is a GOD!
I survived the flight too...........Cried like a baby, but am in one piece!

Love to you all. Debbiex
