Hello Again~
I have managed to make a second card today. Did all my jobs this afternoon and so have had a play this evening.
Hubby brought me a coffee after dinner, and off I went...
I love my Anya and GF stamps and will use them any chance I get. When I saw the Sketch at Anyone for Anya, I just knew I had to join in and this is what I came up with!
Although "red" is not really a colour I use very often (don't know why, I do like it!) in crafting, I always love how clean and fresh it looks.
I had intended to go all Shabby/Vintage on this card, but I just love this "Personal Impressions Lindsay Mason Design red Gingham paper, and coupled with this Dotty Prima Paper called "Apricot Tree" it looked far too chic for shabby!
Anya is coloured with Pro-Markers and I have used lots of Star Dust stickles on her outfit. The button, ribbon, sentiment and string are all from my stash.

You Are All So Sweet~
A big thank you to all my lovely followers for your constant support and wonderful comments, It makes everything so worth while to know people are kind enough to tell you they like your work or wish you well. Thanks girls, you are so sweet~
I did not have the best of days today, work problems I am afraid.
Tomorrow I am taking my sister to the hospital for yet another plaster cast on her ankle. Not sure what the doctor is going to do, they did talk about her having an operation, fingers crossed it all goes how we want it too.
I saw a lovely challenge today over at Cupcake, the theme was "Old MacDonald's Farm"!
I knew somewhere I had this Penny Black stamp called "All Creatures", and although I think it's a Christmas image (think the animals are looking in the manger!!) I did think it would work for this challenge, and I have never used it before, and that's naughty!!
The image is coloured with Pro-Markers, and I have just bought this cuttlebug folder with little butterflies on, I have coloured over them with chalks to highlight them a bit. The papers are from my stash. The image is matted on an oval and oval scalloped Nestie. The border punch is a Martha Stewart.

Just a piece of Cake~
Hi All~
A nice day here today, but boy was it cold around the -4 degrees I think!!
I have gone all a.w.a.l........From the "Cute" card image that is! But not sure If I should have!! I must admit I find "Cute" easier than other images. Anyway I have gone all "Foody", Cake to be precise. Yummy!!
Sorry about my awful camera work yet again. I think my camera likes daylight and not evening light, mind you I do too!!
In making this card, I have used some of the co-ordinates embossed card stock in blue. I think the 2 DP's are Basic Grey, but not sure what the name of them is. The stamp and the cute Sentiment are Helz again. The flower is from my stash and I have used some Stardust stickles all round the edge of the blue card stock.

Black, White and One Other Colour~
Hello All~
Saturday again...and almost the end of the month...Whats going on, stop the world I want to get off!!
(I say that all the time!!)
A bit tired at the mo, just been to Zumba dance (love it but, I am wrecked for a while when I get back). Hubby is suprisingly well today after yesterdays day of "Real Ale" drinking, so no running about after him or having to deal with "Oh I feel awful" ringing out in my ears every time I look over at him!! LOL
Made this card before I went to bed last night. It's a while since I have used this sweet Tilda. I have entered the Black, White and One Other Colour challenge over at Polycraft and obviously my "Other colour" is Green, Green is my favorite colour so there was no contest.
I forgot I had this black and white music paper, it is black one side and white the other so I decided to use both sides for the card, I have also used some of my favorite black shiny card for the matting. The circles are cut using my Nesties.
The sentiment is by Magnolia "just Sitting here thinking of You", so nice. Flower is cut with my NS punch. Coloured with Pro-Markers.

All things grow with Love~
Hello Peeps~
I still cannot stop laughing at that photograph of the dog in my last post, it is just so funny. People are saying they cannot believe a dog would lie on a sofa like that!
I have been to work this morning, hubby went out to a beer festival at 1.30, so I have had a nice play, and have made this "man's" card using one of my favorite Mo's Digital Pencil images, isn't it lovely? I love the look of the little "scruffy" boy, he reminds me of a character in Oliver Twist.
I have used only one DP "Little Sprout Collection, Grove", it's this sweet orange tree pattern on one side and the most gorgeous Kraft paper on the reverse.
The punched border is a MS and I have used some of my stash of ribbon. I cannot remember the name of who makes these acrylic dots, but I have them in a few different colours and they are really nice to use, just a bit different from using a pearl or a gem.
I have used another little charm, this time it's a key. I wanted to use a leaf, but I couldn't find them!!
The image is coloured with Copic Markers, and the sentiment is from Inkadinkado.

Hiya All~
Just before I get onto today's card, I just had to show you this picture that my blog friend Shelia sent me (along with lots of others) it was meant to make me smile, and as you can see it did more than that, in our house we were in stitches, the funniest thing I have seen in ages, my son said "Is it dead, or having a rest!"
Thank you Sheila, you made my day, so funny...
Yes! It's another Leanne Ellis image on this card. I cannot help myself, they are just so nice. I have 6 images altogether, but I promise I wont make 6 cards in a row with them...but I cannot promise not to use them all in the near future.
The lovely papers I have used are a mix from my stash, the punch is one of my favorite MS punches, it looks quite shell like doesn't it? The little shell stamps are from the Magnolia range and were a recent buy from Craft Obsession website, they have a lot of Magnolia stamps and these shells were in the sale. I have stamped them on the green dotty paper and embossed them with my heat gun just to make them slightly glossy. I picked up a bunch of charms from Harrogate Show last year and this boat wheel was one of them, not sure if it works on here, but have used it anyway. Image is coloured with Pro-Markers.

Leanne Ellis~
Hello All~
Well I have been able to have a play this afternoon, after I did some cleaning up. My sister did not need me to today, she had help off another family member, so I have had a less stressful day.
Today's card is made with a beautiful Leanne Ellis stamp. This is not one of my own stamps, it's one of my friend Margaret's, she bought all 6 of Leanne's new releases, so how lucky am I that Margaret let me stamp them at our monthly Cut and Chat Craft Club? Thank you so much Margaret, you are a star, the stamps are gorgeous.
So, the image is LE, the papers are by Graphic (think it's an American paper company)and it's called Domestic Goddess. I thought this paper was a bit bright and a bit busy, but don't think it's that bad once it was cut up. The spotty paper is the reverse so that's worked out great as the colour is a perfect match. I have die cut the lovely Magnolia Swirl and added half a doily (which I have inked with Memento Sand coloured ink).
These beautiful flowers (given to me by my friend Margaret, thank you Margaret, they are just lovely.) are the inspiration behind the colour choice of this card, and thats what the Cuttle Bug Spot Challenge required.
I have used another one of those grungy hearts, added some raffia and a congrats sentiment. I have used some stardust stickles to give it a less grungy look, tried to bling it up a bit!!

No Place Like Home~
Hi All~
Thank you to my lovely followers for their kind words about my sisters broken ankles.
She is finding it hard, but there are plenty of family members who all live within two miles of her, so it's no hassle at all to look after her.
I won't be missing any of my crafting, hopefully. I have managed to still do a bit every day (as well as other jobs!)
I have made a card using another Helz image, this is a cute little cat sitting on a very comfortable big chair, this stamp set is called "Lazy Days".
I have used some old Papermania papers, and the beautiful sentiment is one of Lisa's digital download freebies isn't it lovely?
The pearls are Hobbyhouse, it's coloured with Pro-markers and the flower and leaf are NS punches. I have aged it all with a Memento Sand coloured ink pad.

Fairy Happy Birthday~
Hi All~
Another nice, if not cold, day here today, hope you are all well this Wednesday.
I hope to be able to post another card later on today, but here is this afternoons card for now.
I have used a daft little fairy stamp from Helz cling stamps this one is called "Fairy Cakes", she is actually quite a big stamp, I have used my largest oval in my Nesties to sit her on. I ran this through the cuttlebug in a checked embossing folder.
I have chosen the challenge over at Flutterby Wednesday, and they want "White on White" and of course Wings, so sure this will tick all those boxes.
I have Coloured with Pro-Markers, and used three Wild Rose studio brads and a Wiff of Joy Fairy Sentiment.
I am entering:

Distressed? No- more like Depressed!!
Hello All~
Oh dear it never rains for me does it?
My Nana was ill just recently, thankfully she is well on the road to recovery, she is doing fine........NOW my sister has fallen and broken BOTH her ankles!! OMG.
I spent a bit of yesterday in the hospital with her, and today I have been helping her at home. It will be a nightmare because my sister is not a bit like me. I would be able to sit all day with my feet up getting better, watching DVD's and doing a bit of Crafting. Unfortunately my sister is like a whirlwind all day long and is stir crazy already!! BUT she's in plaster so there is no running about for a few months now~
Tonight's card is made using two of my Anya stamps that I have had for ages and forgotten all about using, glad I did use them together.
I am not the worlds best distresser, but I do love the effect.
If you want to see distressing at it's best, get yourself over to my blog friend Fleurs blog and take a look at her beautiful cards, I call her the distressing genius, take a look at her stunning work here:
A Passion For Crafts
I have had a go at distressing the papers, I have used my scissors to cut up the edges and then used Stardust stickles over the top.
The ribbon and raffia strip are from my stash, and so its the lovely chipboard heart. I have masked and stamped the two Anya's and coloured them with Pro-Markers. I finished by adding a few little roses.

Lady in Lilac (Not Red!!)~
Hello Girls~
After a really cold, icy start this morning, it has turned out to be a nice day here (still cold tho!)
It's my lovely daughters Birthday tomorrow...she will be 20, so she is no longer a teenager...(cannot believe how quickly they grow up, only feels like a few years ago that she used to look out the window and wait for her daddy coming home from work, yet that was about 16 years ago!!!)
I have been to work this morning, but have managed to have a play this evening.
I had this beautiful Leanne Ellis image already coloured, so decided to pop her onto a card to finish her off.
I absolutely love Leanne Ellis images, very quirky, and she has just brought out some new ones, you can see them on the Sugar Nellie website, go have a look and see what you think.
I have used some Basic Grey Kioshi purple/pink paper and some Basil Card stock. I have used a MS punch around the page in this art deco fan shape (one of my favorites) and a Nestie for the image shape. I have also used a doily, and this one is from my lovely blog friend Sheila, she sent me them at Christmas for my Birthday, thank you sweetie! Lastly I have used some white lacey ribbon from my stash.
These gorgeous flowers are from Bev at Bee Crafty Card Challenge, I won with them last week and I received a fantastic prize from them today, it was super duper, so thank you very much. Go and join in their fun challenges, I do!

Happy Birthday Mandy~
Hi All~
It is my sister Mandy's Birthday in February (she won't see this card as she does not go on my blog) I thought I would make her a card using this lovely LOTV image.
I bought this stamp back n September of last year, naughty old me never used her until today.....How wicked of me, must mean I have so many stamps I don't know what to use next!!
Please don't tell lovely Hubby that tho!
I wanted to try to keep this card as Monochrome as possible and went through my papers until I found a few brown/cream mix. These papers are Bo-Bunny and I think they are a good combination and go together pretty well. The swirls are from a Marianne die, and so is this flower...It has 5 different size petal shapes that all join together to make this flower...very sweet and really easy to make, I think it looks lovely. I have added some stickles and a few coffee coloured pearls.

hAngler Skater Boy~
Hello Peeps,
Had a bit of a lazy afternoon. Did my jobs in the morning and then had a little crafting play this afternoon. Hope you like what I came up with.
I found a challenge to do with boys/kids games, and I knew I had a hAngler image stamped of a boy with a skateboard, so decided to use it.
I have used one of my little boy charms, some more Kars cord and a border with an EK success Moroccan design (which I love). The papers are Basic Grey "June Bug" and I have made a patchwork effect using two different papers cut into squares. The image is coloured with Pro-Markers.

What a Tweetheart!
Hiya All~
Quite a nice day here today, a bit cold, but that's ok with me.
I have made a card tonight using a digi image I won a few weeks back, I think it's really tweet...I mean sweet, and a bit different from the images I usually use on my cards.
I have used some more core'dinations embossed card for the background, and some K&Co green dotty paper, the pink paper is a Bo Bunny sheet called Love Bandit Tweetheart (I kid you not, that's it's name!) I have coloured the image using Pro-Markers and added a few Hobbyhouse Gems, and a length of Kars cord in Green.

On Your Wedding Day~
Hi All~
Not much to report on this Tuesday Evening, did a few jobs in the house, ironing, cleaning etc, so tonight I have been able to do a spot of card making.
I am desperate to get some of the new LOTV stamps, a few of you out there are using them and I MUST HAVE THEM NOW!!!
Ha Ha~
Well actually they are on my list of things to buy at the Harrogate Paper Show on March 19th. (It's a bit off yet I know, but I do have to save up before I go and I have just had a spend at Christmas, so I am just going to have to be patient).
This LOTV stamp is one of my favorites. I must admit I don't make that many Wedding cards, so I have not used it much, but when I do I always love how it looks, so sweet.
I have decided to leave this card quite simple, not too much matting. The background is embossed, the paper is K&co, the sentiment is LOTV too. I have used some stickles to highlight the dress and flowers. That's it really.

It's a Boy Thing!!
Hello All~
My second post of the day!! Hubby would say I have too much time on my hands...Or can't you do anything else accept crafting!!
He is a love really and never complains about my hobby...
I bought this little stamp set today, they are by Marianne and it is called "dress up boy", there are 18 stamps altogether, a boy and then all his outfits, really sweet. I chose this duffel coat and big boots, but there is a shirt, football kit dungarees, scarf and a top with balloons attached, all lovely and not often can I find nice "little" boy stamps, so a good find me thinks.
I have stamped his clothes on some blue checked paper (used this in the background too). I have used a GF sentiment stamp and a button from my stash. All papers are from my bits box. Border punch is a MS.

Attitude or What!!
Hi All~
Raining again today....BUT would rather have that than the white stuff, so no moaning from me!!
Sorry about my rubbish photograph tonight, I seem to be getting the exposure wrong all the time lately, looks like I took it in bright sunshine, but I can assure you I did not see the sun at all today, so that can't be!!
Tonight's card is for a friend's Birthday, I think she will like this little "attitude" girl from the Sugar Nellie Gang~
I have used some free papers from my latest Scrapbook Magazine, Just loved this pink spotty paper. I have used pro-markers for the colouring and my Nestie came out for the image. I used two ovals in different sizes and a scalloped one, and I raised the first oval on foam pads to give it dimension (don't know if that shows up). Instead of punching out a flower I have used a pre-made one from Sandylion Essentials, I use these alot in my Scrapbooking, but when I saw this one in pink with spots I just had to use it on here!

Thanks~
Hiya All,
Thank you to everyone who wished my Nana well, glad to tell you she came home from hospital on Friday and although she is a bit quiet and tired, she is doing well.
I love these hAngler images, unfortunately they are like gold dust for me to get hold of, but recently I did manage to have a few stamped and this is one of them, isn't she sweet? Look at her little handbag, she is almost saying "do you want to see what I keep in my bag"!!
It looks like I have made two little pink felt tip marks at the top right hand corner of the paper, but this is how the paper is, it has lots of distressing marks on it, these just stand out a bit more than others!!
She is coloured with copic markers, and my papers are just left overs from my bit box, and I have added a NS flower and a few Hobbyhouse gems. I have chosen to follow this lovely sketch set by Sketch Saturday. Nice and Simple~

Wrap Up Warm and Toastie~
Hiya All~
Hope you have all had a nice Thursday.
I have been visiting my Nana again today and she looks a bit better, I have my fingers crossed she is well enough to come home tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who wished her well.
Tonight's card is made using a Sugar Nellie image called Raven. It was a real pleasure to make this card, not only do I love this sweet little image, I like using papers with these warm, rusty & toastie colours!
I am not sure what the name of these papers are, they were just loose leaves in my box, so I cannot remember. The punch used is a MS lace type. The Pearls used are my favorite Hobbyhouse pearls, they are the nicest pearls I have ever used and they come in small (as in this case) and large and they all match beautifully.

Digi Image~Winter Beau~
Hi All,
Had an awful day today, my 94 year old Nana went into hospital yesterday after she suffered a mild heart attack, I have been to see her and although she is feeling slightly better, I have been really upset at the thought she may not have been ok this time!
I class myself very fortunate indeed to still have my Nana at my age of 50, and as some of you know we share our Birthday on Christmas Day, so I always feel even closer to her, she is an amazing woman and I hope she recovers very quickly.
Tonight I have managed to have a bit of a play after tea, I came up with this little card. I love this Digi Image called Winter Beau, I have not used her before and to be honest I really cannot remember where she came from, sorry whoever it was!!
I have used some new papers but not sure the name of them, my neglected long rectangle nestie shape, NS flower punch and I have embossed a piece of red card with the cuttlebug swiss dots folder.
It's not very often I use the colour red, (only at Christmas and then I prefer to use the colour blue anyway!)
I saw that Vicky used red on her card this week and I thought it was stunning. I am really happy with this colour combo, but not with my colouring or my photography, but you cannot get it right all the time!

Tilda in Blue~
Hiya All,
Feels like ages since I made a card with a Magnolia image. I have had this stamp for sometime now (March last year) and have only inked her up once, so couldn't wait to use her when I saw this lovely sketch at MDUC.
I don't often use these sort of roses/flowers on my cards, feel they are far too bulky, especially if you want to send the card to someone, I find it will not fit the envelope and being a lazy crafter! I cannot be bothered making a box envelope. I usually use a punched flower, like a NS or MS, I find these are fine and will squash down in the envelope.
Back to the card. Its made with some Basic Grey papers, June Bug they are called. A little basket shaped button, flowers and ribbon from my stash. Coloured with pro-markers.
It is a bit busy for me, I defiantly prefer the less is more look, but don't dislike it, just feels it's a bit OTT. LOL
Going to enter into:
MDUC--Sketch
BasicGrey Challenge--Spots and Dots
Just Magnolia--Anything Goes and a Button
Magnolia Stamp Lovers--Blues
Totally Tilda--Ribbons and Roses

Anyone for Anya?
Hi Folks,
What a nice day today (weather wise), thought it was supposed to be rather icy, so was pleasantly surprised to see the sun, mind you it was still cold, but at least there was no white stuff!!
Tonight I have made a card using a GF stamp, think this one is called "Snuggle". I bought this a while ago now, and have only inked it once, I think it's so sweet and girly.
The DP I have used is a Bo Bunny's Back to Backs, this paper is called "Persuasion" and I have used both sides to create the 4 squares on the front, I love this sketch by Card Patterns, so this one was easy for me. I have distressed the papers a bit with a file and used a Nestie Tag for the rub-on sentiment. Image is coloured with Pro-markers.
I am off now to watch a film with Hubby. I don't watch soaps and I am not that keen on The Ice thing! So a Blu-Ray is on the books (got about 10 at Christmas, so lots to choose from).

Happy Anniversary To Us~
Hiya All~
It is our 26th Wedding Anniversary on January 12th. I know it's a strange time of year to get married, especially in this country when the weather is so appalling at that time of year however, but there was method in our madness......We are both skiers, or WERE both skiers...We loved our skiing so much that we even took a skiing Honeymoon in Austria!! I know...weird!
I did not have a clue what image to use on my hubby Chris's card. I looked through all the stamps I had, and did find a nice couple clanking glasses together, but I just did not want to use it. Then I spotted this pair of ducks I bought in September and have not inked up yet, it's a Penny Black Slapstick stamp, I think it is perfect for an Anniversary card, do you?
I think Chris and I could be those two ducks, I am the one on the left of cause!!
I have followed the lovely sketch on Crafts 4 Eternity, and the colours I have used are one of my favorite combinations ~ green and brown. The papers used are a mix of all my old bits and bobs, the heart punch is a MS, I have added a GF "love" sentiment and a Card Candy blob!
I would like to enter:
Crafts 4 Eternity--Sketch
Cute Card Thursday--Use old stash
Paperplay--Clean and Simple
Raise the Bar--Colour combo
Cuttlebug Spot--Inspired by a book (One flew over the cuckoos nest)
Polka Doodles--A Wish for the New Year
Penny Black at Allsorts--All you need is love
I was also going to enter this card for the Phindy's Place Challenge blog, BUT It's theme is "Food and Drink" and I thought entering yummy DUCK was just too cruel!!! Lol

Special Fairy~
Tonights card is made using my New Images by Pergamano. Set 1 and 2 of Fairies.
I already have a set of Pergamano cling stamps in a different design and I find them very delicate and nice and easy to use. I used to think I was not a "fairy" sort of person, but I have realised lately when looking through my stamps that I have several different ones.
I am using up all my bits and bobs of paper, so no idea the make of what these are sorry. To colour the image I have used a mix of Pro-Markers and Copics, my Nestie ovals have come out again and my card size is one of my favorites...6x6.
The punch is one of my new ones from QVC, Hobbyhouse Gems and a WRMK rub on Sentiment. There are 6 of these fairies, so prepare to be fed up with me using them by the end of the month!! Lol
Thank you to Patriziawithaz for the Blog Award she sent me, thank you. Go see her lovely work here: A Crafty Journey.

Happy New Year and Thank You~
Hello All~
Happy New Year. I hope you all had a great Christmas and New Year. I had a brilliant time, even if I have not done any crafting since December 13th...Feels like forever, anyway back now so here's to 2011. (Please may it go SLOWER that 2010!!)
I have managed to make a card today, even though I have been putting away all my Christmas Deccies and tidying up.
This image is a Bildermina and is courtesy of my friend Shelley, she let me stamp it ages ago and I forgot I had it until I went through all my stamped images this afternoon, she is sweet and look a the size of that flower!
I have a couple of days still off work (go back Wednesday) so I should be able to do a bit more crafting this week.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
