Sweet Stampin' Card

Hi Girls~

Saturday again, so another Challenge over at Sweet Stampin'  and as it's the Festive Seasons, then it's another Festive Challenge called "Santa Claus is coming to Town" (must use a Santa!!)
Our Sponsors this week are A Day Of Daisies.

I have to confess I have trees, Baubles and Snowmen coming out of my ears (not literally), but a Santa seemed to elude me. The only one I have is this old stamp I have had for ages, I do like it tho'.
Don't know what make this stamp is. The papers are all leftovers from my stash, the Sentiment is by LOTV.

I have to say sorry for not being around much, but now my tree and deccies are up, my Craftroom doubles as a "Proper" room for the holiday's, so no crafting for me now until January 2013.
As my Birthday is Christmas Day, I will be another year older next time we "meet"!! But I promise not to act any older!!

A BIG HAPPY CHRISTMAS AND LOVELY NEW YEAR, have a safe and restful one!

New House Card~

Hi Girls,

Oh dear I know it's been ages since my last post, but I am "Mrs Busy" at the Mo.
Not only have I had a load of Commissions to get done before Christmas (No tree up until all crafting has stopped!!) On Monday I am teaching a Calendar workshop, so am busy getting all the supplies together for that too.

I have all my "Pressies" bought and wrapped, all my cards written and waiting to post, and some of my "Nibbles" bought, so I am on track. Just need to get all my Crafty projects out the way and then it's all plain sailing!!!   Eh ye!!

I would like to share a card I made for my friend's Son who has just moved into a New House with his girlfriend.

Sorry about the terrible photo, this horrendous weather plays havoc with the light.

Sweet Stampin' Card~

Hello Ladies.

A big thank you for all your lovely comments, they are always so great to read, thank you.

Sorry I have not been around as much as I would have liked to have been, but besides having lots of commissions and presents on the go (A little thing called Christmas banging on the door!!) I have had alsorts of Internet and telephone problems. Hopefully all that is behind me now.

 So onto this Saturday's card.

At Sweet Stampin' this week our theme is "Ribbons & Snowflakes", so we are still on Christmas Mode at SS. That suits me as I have made 84 Cards so far, but need a few more yet, so every one counts!
Our Sponsors this week are Crafty Ribbons and The Stamp Fairy and the image I have used is from our sponsor, isn't it so cute?
The papers used are all LOTV Krafty Christmas. The Sentiment is Magnolia and the row of houses are a die from Memory Box. I have added a wooden snowflake covered in stickles. The gorgeous doily is my new die from Die-Namics and I just cannot stop using it. Image is coloured with
Pro-Markers.

House Hooks~

Hello Girls

So sorry I have been a bad blogger of late, but this time of year is always busy, busy, busy for me and is when I can make myself a little bit of pocket money to buy some lovely new stash!!
I have a few commissions at the moment, a Calender, two Scrapbooks and a few cards + I have two Christmas Fairs in the next week, so all go!

I have made a couple more of these little "House hooks" after I sold one at a Fair a few weeks ago, so hopefully someone will take a fancy to this new one, along with the other Christmassy things I have made.

The bare wood house base is from "Samuel Taylor" shop.  I sanded down all the rough edges, covered it in Gesso and then painted it with Dovecraft Acrylic Paints. I have stamped and embossed on the roofs, have stamped on papers and have made a frilly house roof edge with a Tim Holts rosette die. I have added a wooden house piece to one of the panels, a metal key & Bumble Bee and a large Craftwork Cards Flower.
To be honest it looks much better in real life, my photography has alot to do with the way it looks I am sure!

Sweet Stampin' DT card.

Hi Girls

Another week bites the dust, and we edge closer to the Festive Season (and another Birthday for me!)
I do love my Birthday on Christmas Day, my Children have always made it so special for me, even when they were little they would say Christmas over now, now it's Mum's time! Bless 'em.
At evening time it would be all the Christmas pressies away, and all change for my Birthday stuff.

Anyway another Saturday means another challenge at Sweet Stampin', so what is the theme this week I hear you ask...Didn't you!!
Well it's "Snow People"....So get your Christmas stamps inked up and join in. Our sponsors this week are Di's Digi Downloads and Bugaboo.

This is my card for this weeks challenge. I have chosen a Bugaboo image, isn't it so cute?
Call over and see all their lovely Digi Images here:.http://www.bugaboostamps.com/

Image is coloured with Pro-Markers, and my papers are from my stash.
The large stamped snowflake was free on this months Craft Stamper magazine, and it's really lovely.
I have added a wooden snowflake too.

LOTV Kraft Paper + Image

Hello Girls~

Sorry I have been missing in action for a while.
My friend Angie and I have been on our Annual shopping spree to Glasgow. We go every year at this time, and although it is primarily a "Christmas Pressie Shopping" trip, a bit of "Crafting" was on the cards at the wonderful "Craft World" shop.
The shop is fab and has the largest supply of 12x12 papers I have ever seen, just wonderful. They also had a workshop running, so we joined in and made two lovely cards.
I will upload a photo of the cards we made later, but for now I have another LOTV Teddy and Robin card to show you. This one is made with Kraft card and Kraft LOTV papers. The sentiment  postmark stamp is by Clarity Stamps. I have also used some Hobbyhouse pearls to finish off.

Big Tag Time~

Hi Girls~

Thought you might be interested to see what I have been upto~
I have been getting "Inky"...really enjoyed making this Big Tag.

I have used stamps from Dylusions, Oh Dyan's stamps really are wonderful and sooo Quirky!!
This lady is from the "Dependable Dotty" collection, she is actually, quite big, about 7' from top to bottom, so a Big Tag was needed!

I distressed the edges of the tag and then mounted it on Kraft card. I coloured the background with Dylusion Ink Sprays in various colours, then put gesso on to the tag through a chicken wire type stencil before drying and then stamping Dyan's leaves, sentiment, and other "Dotty" stamps. Finishing off with a bit of ribbon at the top and then near the bottom through a couple of holes made with my cropodile to add detail.

ATC folder~

Hello Girls~

I have an ATC holder to show you.
I have followed -roughly- the instructions in Novembers "Craft Stamper" magazine, It's one of Kate Crane's projects and I fell in love with it the minute I saw it.
I did not have the stamps Kate used, but I have improvised and used several of my own.

I have used some Tim Holtz inks to colour the backgrounds, then I stamped a Darkroom door background stamp and while that was wet I covered it with Perfect Pearls and then sprayed water over the top. This made a "splash" look which I then dried before I stamped my other stamps on top.
I have used some Dylusion stamps including the sentiments and a few from Prima, plus a Free Star stamp from the cover of the Craft Stamper magazine.

Sweet Stampin' Tag--Halloween!

Hello Ladies,
Hope you are all well.

Today's another Challenge day over at Sweet Stampin' and appropriately for this time of year it's "Halloween"!  That should be an easy one right?

So here is what I came up with for this one.
A "Giant Tag".  I bought these gorgeous Halloween papers a few weeks ago from Samuel Taylor's, they are from Echo Park, Chillingsworth Collection, and they do quite a few different sheets.

The Skull stamps are from Dylusions, I have only had these a few day's so was dying to use them, don't they look "Spooky"?
The Skull charm I have had for ages, don't know where I got it.

Shopping is Fun~

Hi girls~

Here I am again with a card with a Mo Manning image on. Ooo i just love Mo's super images, and this one reminds me of my friend Angie and I when we are out shopping (mind you we do usually have a few more bags than this!!, Eh.....well alot more actually!!)

That's Me on the right and Angie on the left, that's 'cos I have brown hair and Ang is a Blondie!

I have used a Paper Mania Kraft card base and papers from Kaisercraft Peachy Keen collection, very Autumnal. In fact the aqua and brown leaf paper is flocked and feels all soft and velvety.

The Sentiment little ticket is a LOTV, and I have added a few hobbyhouse pearls and a wooden leaf. The corner punch is one of my favourite MS sets and is called pansy.

Hello Girls,
Hope I find you all well and you are not too cold where you are!
A big thank you for all the lovely comments you leave for me, they mean such alot.

Today's card is another Christmas card, I am making a few each day, so hopefully I will not be caught out needing more at the last minute.
This card is made using one of the new LOTV little masterpieces, oh this has got to be one of my favourite's, I just love the way the little Teddy is looking at the robin who's just flown down and sat on his foot. So Sweet!
I have used some of my new papers from Echo Parks This & That Collection, all very nice Christmas Papers.
The pearls are Hobbyhouse, Snowflake flower is Nellie Snellen and the border edge is a MS.

Jingle Bells~

Hello Girls~

I have had a nice day "Crafting" (I was supposed to be cleaning up, but Oh heck I forgot!!) LOL
Actually I did do a bit in the morning, and I must admit what used to take me all day, takes me only a couple of hours if I get my skates on, well with the lure of Crafting, you can see what I mean can't you!!

I have just bought this gorgeous Mo Manning "Jingle Bells" stamp and it is my New Favourite, it just makes me smile (and that can't be a bad thing!)
I love Mo's images and will make lots of cards with this image, I know already who would just love this image on their card.

I have used a cut up Kraft card for the base, and a bit of leftover gold and red paper, I have cut a star frame from a set of dies. The lovely sentiment is part of the stamp set, but the surround is from a new set I have just bought from LOTV, isn't it cute? there are loads of different shapes and sizes on the sheet.

Spooky or What!!

Hi Ladies~

I have had a busy day today, been making lots of Craft Goodies to sell at a local Craft Fair tomorrow morning.
I have made several items which I will show you at a later date.
I also made these little Halloween Bags of Sweets, so thought I could show you them. Hope they are "Spooky" enough for you!

I have used a little cello bag full of Jelly Sweets, and cut a top for the bags from my Go Create Die, I then used some of my New Echo Park Chillingsworth Papers to decorate. The Skulls are from a Stamp Set of Dylusion stamps.

Hello Girls~
Hope I find you all well.
I am busy making lots of items for a Craft Sale on Sunday. I have been making Christmas Cards, Wooden Houses, Door Hangers and some Wall Plaques, and it's a couple of them I have to show you today. Hope you like them. I am hoping to get a few orders (like last time) for the Wall Plaques with a child's name on, instead of the "Baby's Room" I have done on these.

Sweet Stampin' Card~

Hello Girls,

As it's Saturday it's Challenge time over at Sweet Stampin' and this week it's the theme "Through the Window". Our Sponsors this week are Sew Sweet.

I am glad to report I am feeling so much better, and the chest Xray I had was clear. Although I am still doing a little bit of coughing, it is nowhere near as bad as it was, and I feel so much better in myself, thank you for all your Best Wishes.
I am having some nice Retail Therapy today. My friend Angie and I are at the fantastic Samuel Taylors Shop, we are joining in their workshop all day, so cannot wait to show you what we made.
As we are then only 15 minutes drive from Harrogate Papercraft Show, it would be rude not to visit there aswell wouldn't it?

I have had yet more problems with loading photo's to Blogger, however as you can see it has eventually worked. I managed to pop the photo on Picasa and it loaded first time. So fingers crossed it will work as quick for the next post!!

I have used this Crafty Individuals "London" quad square stamp and although you cannot properly see, I have cut a window in my card and popped the image behind it on foam pads. I have chosen to mock stitch round the edges, and have added a piece of ribbon from my stash and added a few Hobbyhouse pearls.
I did not want to colour the image, so kept it all Monochrome.

Modern Landscape

Hello Ladies

Hope I find you all well.

I have a New Love, it's this Modern Landscape die from Memory Box, Ooo I love it, so different.
I have a Christmas Card to show you using it. I like all my layered up, embellishment covered cards, but I also like the minimalist look for others too, so this die certainly covers that!

Hope you like it. I have also done the same card but in greens.
I have used the Memory Box Modern Landscape Die
A Swiss Dot Sizzix folder
Hobbyhouse Pearl
I am not sure what make this Sentiment Stamp is, I have had it ages and have no packaging for it.
On the edges of the white paper I have added Stardust stickles to look like snowfall.

Oh it's Daniel~

Hello girls,

Well what a different day it's been today.
Yesterday it did not stop raining ALL day, and today it's actually been really nice, sunny and warm.

I have been doing quite a bit of Scrapbooking the last few nights,  I have a couple of Commission's on the go ! Cannot really show any of my pages as I would have to ask permission, but today I had a day off from Scrapping and have made a Tag for the Challenge over at Stampotique Designers.
They have asked for "Squares"!!
Ha ha... I know it's a bit funny but this is what I came up with!!

I decided to Stamp this image of Daniel Torrent three times and then chop him up!
I then added three sets of his legs!
Don't ask me why I did this, I just wanted to do something "Off the Wall"!!  LOL

I have used a really big Inkilicious Tag, and coloured it with Dovecraft Acrylic pearly lilac paint.
I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut stain. I have ripped and inked some book paper, and added a few metal embellishments. The stamps (Cogs) are from the latest Indigo Blu stamps. I love these stamps from Kay, she really does have a great eye for detail. The Sentiment is a Dylusion stamp.
Daniel is coloured with Pro-Markers.

Another Christmas Card

Hello Ladies.

A big thank you for your lovely comments and also for asking how I am.
I am back to the Doctors today, so hopefully she will put my mind at rest as to what seems to be wrong with me.

I made a few cards yesterday using Mo Manning images and this is one of them. Isn't it funny, it always makes me smile!
I have used some papers from my bit box, a Mo Manning topper and Sentiment, a wooden Snowflake (must get more of these when I go to Harrogate in October), and although you cannot see it, there are shed loads of Stardust Stickles on his little hat.
I am doing quite well on my Christmas Card stash and have 66 now, so only another 100 left to go !!!

Thank You Blog friends~

Thank you for all the help with Blogger girls.
I know I got my knickers in a twist and did not feel like blogging as it was taking too much time, but to be honest a lot of it has been that it came at a bad time as I have had an awful chest infection that has really knocked me for 6, still not right yet and it's been 3 weeks. Back to the Doctors Monday so see what else she can do. I will be patient for now and see how i go.
But thank you for caring.

Sweet Stampin' Card....Add a Charm~

Hello Ladies.

Saturday again, and another challenge over at Sweet Stampin'. This week it's "Charming", so add a charm to your work and come join in the fun.
Our Sponsors this week are Emerald Faeries.

I can't remember the last time I put a charm on a card, I always forget to use them!! LOl
It was nice to get out my little tub with my charms in, I have some really nice ones.

I have chosen this lovely Fairy Stamp, I used this a lot last Christmas and she is so easy to colour.
I have used pro-markers, some stickles, and a Magnolia Sentiment. The papers are a mix of Basic Grey and Bo-bunny.

I am unfortunately having real trouble up loading pictures to the blog and it's causing me timing issues.
So  I may not be blogging if it carries on, it is just taking up too much of my time, trying over and over again with no success.

Any tips woudl be greatly appreciated.

Christmas is getting closer...Oh No!

Hello Girls,

I am still not feeling very well, but am still managing to make the odd card.
As I have a couple of Christmas Fair's coming up next month, it's all go on Christmas Cards, so I made a couple last night.

It is no secret I love Mo Manning images, and none more than this "Wolf and Girl" image.
I made quite a lot of cards using Mo's images last Christmas and they all went down a treat.
Her images are just so different, and I think people buy the odd one as they know someone who it will appeal to.

I have used a Mo Manning Topper. Some Graphic 45 paper, Kraft cardstock, a EK Success punch, twine, and a wooden snowflake. I have covered the hood on the girl and the snowflake with stickles for a sparkle touch.

I am Perfect~ Just the way I am~

Hello Girls,

What the he** is going on with Blogger Photo uploading I don't know. One minute it lets me do it, the next it takes me all day, It is getting very frustrating, and I am getting very cross with it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who wished me "Get Well" messages, i am taking yet another potion so hopefully I will be feeling better very soon.

I have not really felt like doing any crafting, but this morning I thought I would give it a go and see if I felt able to do it. I eventually came up with this little Paper Gift Bag. I make quite a few of these, they are great to pop a small gift in.
I have used this lovely Stampotique Image, just love this, and I have used my Pro-Markers to colour. The Sentiment is a Dylusion Stamp, and the fantastic (in my opinion) circle snowflake stamp, isn't this fab. It is shaped like a snowflake but has these little circles on the ends, great stuff, Unfortunately I bought this from EBay, it's a wood mounted stamp but it does not have a makers name or stamp name on it, it just says Magenta Made in Canada. I paid about £3 for it and it is going to be so useful.
Papers are all from my "bits" stash, including a bit of Graphic 45 Halloween paper.
I have embossed a bit of Kraft cardstock with the Alegro cuttlebug folder to add to the layers.

A Special guy~

Hello Ladies

Another miserable day today, rain and more rain. Ah well, rain means indoors, indoors means Housework, no not really, inside means Crafting Time!!

I needed a card for my Nephew's Birthday coming up next week, so decided on this Greeting Farm  "My Guy" stamp set. I like this set for a teenager as It's not childish is quite grown up looking yet still trendy.
I decided to PP his clothes with bits of leftover paper from my stash,, I coloured his face with copics and used one of these PaperMania Bottle Caps. The little tickets are from Purple Pumpkin. The papers are also from PaperMania and match the bottle caps, this set is called "Happy Days".

Stampotique keyKeeper~

Hello Girls,

Hope you are all well. Don't know what your weather is like, but unfortunately for me here it is miserable and wet. I am waiting for a parcel to be collected so craft is on the menu while I wait.

I have been busy with a scrapbook Commission, but wanted a day off from that today, so i have chosen to make a Tag.
I have used Dylusions Ink Sprays, sentiment and leaf stamps, oh boy these inks are good. Call over at Art From the Heart website and see all Dyan's fabulous products.
I have stamped up the two stampotique stamps, the Shroom and the KeyKeeper Monster, how much fun are these? All the colouring is done with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Markers, and I have used a white Posca pen for the highlights. All the ribbon is from my stash.

White on white~

Hi Girls,

Today is my lovely Son's 20th birthday (oh my "Baby" is no longer a teenager.....Ahh)
Something else that's gone quickly, one minute you are taking them to school for their first day, next they are self sufficient, working, driving, well all the things I wanted them to be doing at this age, they really are two wonderful Kids, I couldn't ask any more, I am so proud of them both.
Matthew has also just finished his first week at work, so no doubt he will be out on the razzle tonight celebrating both things.

Well onto this Saturday's Challenge over at "Sweet Stampin'...."White on White".
Yet another card type that I have not really done before, but I was pleasantly surprised at how this one turned out, don't think I will be frightened to try this one again, hope you will pop over and have a go.  Go on it's not as hard as it sounds!
Our Sponsors are Letraset, so I am thinking Pro-Markers are up for grabs!!

I have used a Crafty Individuals flower stamp. I just love this stamp and use it loads, today I have stamped and embossed it with clear powder. The paper used is a bit left over from the Wedding Invites I made earlier in the year, not sure what make it is.
I have used a MS Lacey punch, some ruched ribbon from my stash, and a few Hobby House Pearls in white. The Sentiment is a Whiff of Joy and the Sentiment Surround is a Nestie, one of my favourites.

What a Lovely Hubby~

Hello girls,
Hope I find you all well.
My lovely Hubby has treated me to a gorgeous New Laptop. What a sweet heart he is, I owe him big time now!! Oh hec!

For the past few years (well about 7!) we have been using a pathetic old desktop pc that should have been in a retirement home years ago, if it was a dog it would actually be about 152!

I have everything crossed that I can actually, use this lovely shiny new toy....So here goes..

I am hoping that the software I have installed will eventually let me take slightly better photographs than I do at the moment, ha that would be a great help!

It's "Snow" Fun being a Baby~

Hiya Girls,

I know the weather is a bit like "Winter", but I am fully aware that it is actually STILL AUGUST, So STOP ALL THIS RAIN!!
Oh I am getting mi knickers in a twist about it. No barbi's, no meals outdoors and no sunbathing!!

Right rant over.....
I have been up to my eye's in "C" cards. Those of you who know me, know I do not use the "C" word until September, and NO it's not September just yet!

I have picked this cute Mo image topper and some new papers I bought today. They are Papermania Happy Days. Not a bit "C" in theme, but I wanted quite pale, muted colours to go with this image, so these fit the bill.

I love Mo images and this one is just so sweet, a non-traditional card but still lovely, I think!

Peace (at Last!)

Hiya Girls

Well what a wash out Bank Holiday Monday was for us here in Cumbria. No problems as rain means watching tv and crafting.
A big kid at heart...that's me, so I was made up when I found The Wizard of Oz and Babe on tv yesterday, perfect for watching while crafting!
I ended up making a couple of cards which I will show at another time, and I managed to finish this  Layout which I started a few weeks ago.
I love this photo of My Girl Eve on her Lilo, when she is on holiday she loves to sunbathe while relaxing in the water. Looks like she is the only one in that pool, think she was!

Tired but still here!

Hello Ladies~

Hope I find you well and enjoying Bank Holiday Monday.
Unfortunately it is Raining here!!
Well what did you expect....It's a Bank Holiday!!

My Blogging has been abit slow of late, but that is due to my friend Angie and I returning from a fabulous "Retreat" in Lancashire, where we got to Craft for two full days, it was bliss.

Got alot of catching up to do at home now tho', so can only blog when my jobs are done!!
Having a few hours off from housework after I have tackled my Mount Everest of Ironing, so the quicker I can get that done the quicker I can "Play".

Before bed last night I made a card for the Stampotique Challenge, so here it is.
They have asked for a "One Layer" card, not something I am very good at, but I am always up for a challenge!!

I have used a Stampotique Rubber Stamp called Daniel Torrente, and rain drops and border stamps by Claudine Hellmuth called "Doodles". The Sentiment is from a Vacation set I have had for ages, not sure of the make tho'. The little bird on the hat and sentiment is from a set by Craftwork Cards.
I have used Tim Holtz distress markers for all the colouring and did some doodling round the edges.

Sweet Stampin' DT Card~

Hello Girls~

Saturday means another Challenge over at Sweet Stampin'.
This week it's a theme I have never tried before (but I really enjoyed doing it!)
Out of the Frame......What on earth is that I hear you say (well if you are anything like me that is!)
Well...It is where you stamp your image and then cut it out with a die but leaving a bit popping out of the frame.
I was not sure how to do it so popped on You tube and there it was in full detail. Easy Peasy!
Hope you will enjoy having a go too.
Our sponsors this week are Sweet Stamps.

For my card I chose this image by Fizzy Moon.
I love this image, it is so versatile. This Teddy with his big bunch of flowers I have used for Get Well, Sorry, Mothers Day and General Birthday cards, it really does fit anything.

I have used a couple of die ornate circles. A large Marianne shaped doily, and a couple of Nesties. The papers are Bo-Bunny, the flower is Wild Orchid and the image is coloured with Pro-markers, the sentiment came with the Teddy Stamp.

Monochrome Butterflies~

Hi Girls~

By the time you read this post, my friend Angie and I will be on the road to a "Retreat" in Lancashire. We are having Wed & Thu (two full days) of crafting heaven.....Oh we cannot wait.
I will tell you all about what we get up to at a later date.
Even we don't know exactly what it entails, but we are staying overnight, so we get two 9am-6pm days "Playing"!!
What could be better, total bliss!!

I made this card to say thank you to Angie for organising our trip.
I have not made and easel card for ages, not really my usual style, but these tiny 5x5 scalloped cards just look so cute made this way, well I think so anyway!

I have used some Papermania "Bookprint" paper in Monochrome. I then stamped some Inkylicious butterflies on the same paper, added some 3d foam to them, then added a few Hobby House pearls to the bodies before adding then to the card.
The sentiment is from a Hero Arts Set and the ribbon is from my local market stall.
I added another 3d butterfly to the base part of the card, this was perfect to use as the stopper for the easel section.

Sorry about the dreadful photo, the light was shocking!

Friends Forever~

Hello Ladies

Unfortunately I have not felt very well today, I woke up with awful pains in my neck and shoulder and have just not managed to shift it all day. Two sets of Ibuprofen later and still, so soar.
I have not felt like leaning over my table and doing any crafting, but I did have this Mo Manning image already stamped, so did a bit of colouring after tea and put this Tag together in a flash.
Hopefully I will feel better tomorrow and I can get back to Scrapbooking.
I finished the Commission Scrapbook I have been working on on Wednesday, but am sorting out photo's for the start of my next one which I will start next week.

This Tag is made using one of Mo Manning's images, this is perfect for a friend's card and I have used it several times.
I have chosen all leftover papers from my stash and wanted to do a "Pink & Brown" combo.
The Tag itself is made from Kraft cardstock and I have inked the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain.
I have added a flower from a Retro Punch. The image is coloured with Pro-Markers, and I have added a few Hobbyhouse Pearls.

Our House In the Middle of the Street...

Hi Girls

Go on then how many of you are now singing and doing the Madness dance?
You know you want to!!

One of my friend's daughters has just moved into her New Home so I have made this card (a bit quickly, it only took me 15 minutes! I had to rush it unfortunately.)
It's not the best colouring, but thought I would show you anyway.

I love this little image of the Mushroom type house, it's by Polka Doodles and is just right for a Housewarming I think, just a bit "cookie".
The Sentiment is from another House Warming stamps set by Kaiser Crafts.

Not sure where this paper is from, but it was a 12x12 sheet made up of 4 6" squares and this is one of them. I like this fresh blue and lemon colour combo.
Coloured with Pro-Markers and Copics, ribbon from my stash and Hobby House pearls to finish.

Things With Wings~

Hello Girls,

Saturday means a Challenge over at ~Sweet Stampin'~.
This weeks theme is "Things With Wings", so Birds, Aircraft or in my case Fairy.

I have chosen this gorgeous LOTV image, which is just perfect, as our sponsor this week is the fabulous LOTV!
I have used one of my favourite Nestie shapes under the image, very simple looking but, a lovely shape.
Instead of making a card I decided, (as I always need gift bags,)  I would use this little "Kraft" type lunch bag to decorate.
I have chosen some Christie Tomlinson & Stampin' Up papers, and I have used this lovely MS lacy punch. The Sentiment is also LOTV.
Doily, flowers and ribbon are all from my stash. Finished off with a couple of wooden embellishments.

AWAL for a Week~

Hi Girls.

I will be missing in action for a week while I try to earn some money!!
It is time for me to do a weeks work, if you can call it work!
I am teaching Scrapbooking all week to about 10 kids, and I cannot wait.

I did this teaching last year and it was a great success, I loved it. Hard work, and on my feet all week, but the children were great, they seemed to really like it, and each went home with a full 12x12 Album and several Craft Projects.
I have my trusty "Wingman" Angie with me, so I know I can't go wrong!
She is just brilliant and very patient with the kids, even when they are calling for help every five minutes.
We will have a good laugh and be doing Scrapbooking (something which we love), so what more could we want.

OMG how fantastic were the Olympics yesterday. I tried so hard not to cry, but just gave in in the end and had a good cry!
Good Job!  Go team GB, lets have some more of that please!

I am leaving you with a card I made for a friends 70th Birthday.
