In the Doghouse~

Hi Girl's,
NO! Not me in the Doghouse, just my card!!
Mind you I am watching so much Olympics I am not getting anything done, so maybe I will be in the "Doghouse" soon!!
Watching the Gymnastics and amazingly the Men have just won SILVER for five minutes, then we ended up with a BRONZE in the Men's Team Final. What a shame for the Ukrainians who had a Bronze, then 4th place!! Shame.

The challenge over at DP2 (Mo's) this week is "In the Doghouse",  so use an image which includes a dog! Easy!
I have about 10 of Mo's images and about 4 of them have a dog on, so I just had to decide which one to use. I ended up choosing this one, I just love this image and the dog and wee girl are just so cute, and a bit naughty looking.

I have used MME papers, Bakers Twine and Button from Purple Pumkin. The punch is a MS.
My image is coloured with Copic and Pro-Markers.

Another "C" card! .........What's going on?

Hiya girls~

Oh my "Giddy Aunt" I cannot believe I have made another "C" card and it's only July!!!
In our house it is a standing joke that we never use the "C" word until August!
I know...it's daft isn't it? But it's just how it's always been! LOL

I am quite excited as I have the "Olympic Games" bug, cannot wait for the Gymnastics, Velodrome,
Athletics, boxing, rowing, swimming.....everything really! Not allot I don't like (accept cars going round and round, but don't think that happens in these games!!)
Not sure about our opening ceremony, don't know what I was expecting really, but i knew one thing NOTHING could compare to Beijing, that was incredible and I remember at one time almost crying it was so good!

Anyway down to business.  I had no choice in making this "C" card,  the "Powers that be" over at Sweet Stampin' have chosen the theme for this weeks challenge.
(Ta Girls, I am now making a start on my stash of "C" cards needed for this year. It's never too early to start now is it? Especially with the great hoard I had to make last year!!)
I now have a stash of about 12, so only about 240 to go!!  LOL

Our sponsors this week are Di's Digi Downloads.

So onto my card.  I hope you like it.

I have chosen one of my favourite LOTV images, what a cute little couple.
I just love this image and last year I made quite a lot of "C" cards using it.

The paper is one of my favourites by Graphic 45. Thank goodness I bought a load of it just recently, as it has now gone out of print and it will be very hard to get hold of.
The beauty about this paper is, it is double sided and I have used both sides on this card. I love the black and beige holly pattern one side and the sweet little "Carol" paper the other side. I like to cut the Carol paper up like this, looks like a little postcard by the time it is matted up.
I have also used some light coloured Kraft card. All edges are inked with black soot.
Not sure who's sentiment this is. Chocolate pearls are Hobby House.

Tiny gift Bags~

Hello to all my New and Old followers, you are very welcome here!
A Big Thank You ladies for all your super comments, they always mean such alot to me.

Well this weather (In Cumbria) has had us on the hop. One minute nice next wet, no two days the same. With July nearly over it's hard to believe we are in the height of Summer!!

My friend Christine asked me to make these two little gift bags for her Nieces (twins) Christening Presents. She bought the girls a beautiful St. Christopher Necklace each and they were in tiny little boxes, so these bags  were made to put them in.

I already had these two LOTV toppers, so just glittered them up with some Ice Crystal stickles.
The flowers and pearls are Hobby House, the Sentiment is LOTV and the edge punch is a MS.
The little white gift bags were from "The Range", they are in a pack of three.

I am on Full "C" mode, what's going on!!

I have got the "C" bug alright.
Last year when I made all my "C" cards in plenty of time, ( for me to give away) , and then made a batch to sell on my Christmas Fair Stall. I thought I had done really well.
My Mum said "Please can I have a box of "C" cards for my friend's, and before I knew it all my "Own" stash was gone!
I ended up rushing around making a load for me to give away AGAIN!
Not falling into that trap again....I am getting a head start!!

Today's card is made using this gorgeous "Mo Manning" image.
I love her lovely designs and last year I used this "Inuit Nose Rubbing "Kissing" image alot.
I won a challenge over at Mo's last year and this was the image I chose as my prize, Ooo ta Mo!
As with a few of my "C" cards coming up, I have used Graphic 45 gorgeous double sided paper, some Kraft card stock, a LOTV Sentiment and a few Hobby house pearls.
I quite like my "C" cards not too fussy, so that's me done!

My First "C" card for 2012~

Hi Girls~
I cannot believe that I am making a "C" card in July!!!!!
Oh, I assuming you all know what a "C" card is?
I honestly cannot bring myself to say the word, and in our house it is almost a sin to say it before the end of August!!
I made this card as I have been making another for a coming challenge DT car, so thought, Oh well seeing I have made one I might as well make two....three in the end!!

Anyway this one is made using lots of Kraft and Black cardstock, and a LOTV image.
This Holly paper was one of my favourites last year, but not sure if it is made by Basic Grey or not!

Eve and Sophie~

Hello Girls.

Hope I find you all well, and the weather is being good where you are!
I cannot believe we are two weeks into July, yet the weather is not as it should be, Grrrr!!

I have a Layout to show you today.
I find Scrapbooking so therapeutic, and even though people tell me they think it's hard to do, I personally find it easier than card making!!
I just love taking a photo which means such alot to me (maybe the children when they were little and we were out and about on one of our adventures) and putting it together with Papers I love and Journaling to tell me what it is all about. Just my idea of crafting heaven!

So....The Layout (I will get there in the end!!)
This is a photo of my Daughter Eve (on the right) and her friend Sophie.
It was probably taken on one of their "Meal Nights" out (they do like their Italian food!!)

I have used quite alot of leftover bits of paper from my ever growing "leftover" stash.
I have also used some Do Crafts "Book print" paper, in black and white, which I love.
The "Giant" button is made using a Tim Holtz Grunge circle which I have covered in paper and inked the edges of.
I hunted high and low for tiny white letters for the title, this bunting is ever so small, so knew I had to have very small letters, but no luck.
In the end I had to write the title by hand in White marker pen (Not something I wanted to do with my hideous handwriting, ) not very happy with the finished result, but never mind!

Red, White and Blue...AGAIN~

Hi Girls,

Yes! It's Saturday again and that means another challenge over at Sweet Stampin'.
Good one this week..."Use the colours of your Nation's Flag". Our sponsors this week are Letraset, so yummy Pro-Markers up for grabs!

This is what I came up with! (Red, White and Blue!)

I have used some of this lovely Star paper,  and paper from Stampin' Up. I have used this brilliant image by Stampative. I just adore this "Camper Van" it just makes me smile.
The sentiment is Craftwork Cards, the Star button is made with a Go Create Die and the border punch is a MS (one of the first ones I ever bought, all those years ago!) The image is coloured with Pro-Markers.

Strawberry's & Cream~

Hi Girls~

Finally some really nice weather. It was so nice and hot.
Hubby and I have actually had our lunch together in the garden, something we do all the time, IF the weather is nice, unfortunately because it has been awful, this is the first lunch we have had outside for ages.

It is no surprise that I am a huge Mo Manning fan, so every week I try to join in with their DP2 challenge and this week I just had to join the "Singing/ Dancing challenge.

I just love this Happy Celebration image, I have used her quite a few times, she always looks like she is skipping along to someones Birthday Party!! Well that's my take anyway!
All these papers are from my bit box, pearls and flowers are (as always) Hobby House, the edge punch is a MS, the image is coloured with pro-markers.

Stampotique Tag~

Hello Peeps~

I am in the middle of a Scrapbook Commission at the moment, but while I wait for the next batch of photo's to come, I have had a little play.
I adore using Stampotique Stamps, they are just perfect for this type of Tag I have made.
Over at Stampotique Designers the Challenge this week is "Sentiments", so here is my entry.
The blue background paper is Pink Paislee "She Art Truth" by Christy Tomlinson, love this paper. The Sentiment and background stamps are Dylusions,  Pearls are Hobby House and the image is coloured with Pro-Markers and Tim Holtz distress markers.

Red, White & Blue~

Hi Girls,
Thank you to everyone who helped me find the Newton "Washing Line" image, Faye told me where to look and so now I have it, Thanks girls.

Not too good, weather wise again, what the heck is going on? I cannot believe we are having such awful "Summer" weather if you can call it Summer!

I have had some time tonight to be able to finish a card I started at The Cut n' Chat Craft Group I attended on Monday. I did allot of it there, but needed to colour the image in and stick everything together.

Sorry about the awful photo, I really am rubbish at taking a decent photo, must get lessons!

I bought this Mo Manning image about a month ago and took the opportunity to ink her up when the DP2 challenge this week was "Anything Goes".
The image is coloured with Pro-Markers, the flowers, pins and doily are all Hobby House and the papers are "Everyday Moments" by Teresa Collins.

Help Girl's~

Please can anyone tell me where I can download this digi image, or something similar. My friend likes the "Washing Line" but I don't remember where it is from and I don't seem to have the image anywhere.

Rosie~

Hi Girls,

Well this has been a much better day, weather wise.
It was actually Sunny and Hot!!
Missed that over the last few weeks, as we have had quite bad floods for this area.

Done lots of jobs today, and out walking with my friend Chris, but this afternoon I have done quite a bit of crafting.
I have started a page for my Scrapbook commission (will finish that after dinner tonight).
I have made two small gift bags for my friend Christine, she has a Christening for twins on Sunday and needed a couple of bags for the jewellery she has bought the girls. (Show you those at a later date).
I have also made a couple of cards, one for a male friends Birthday (will show you that soon too )
This card is one made for a friend of my Daughters.
My Daughters friends are certainly keeping me in business at the moment (great stuff). I seem to be making gifts and cards every other day for one or other of them!
So here is the "Little Girl" card I made today:
I have used this Digi image by DigiStamp Boutique collection called Rosie. She is lovely isn't she? This image comes with two others, they are all lovely, but the one where she is sitting crossed legs is just so gorgeous, cannot wait to use it again. You can buy these images here: Digistamp Boutique.

The papers are all from my leftover stash, the bunting is Craftwork Cards, the pearls are Hobby House and the sentiment is pc generated. The image is coloured with Pro-Markers.

Sewing Room Tag~

Hi Girls,
Another "Rainy Day" here, what the he** is going on with this strange weather?

I am busy at the moment, I have a Scrapbook Commission I am working on.
After making two pages for the book this afternoon I have had some time-out to do something else, but will be back to it in a minute whilst watching the Tennis.

So wthat have I been up to!!
Well, it's been a couple of months (March) since I used this gorgeous "Sewing Room" Tim Holtz die and yet it is one of my favourites.
I usually die cut the Bodyform using Grunge paper and then decorate it up, but today I just used cardstock and paper with a script on it already. The edges are inked with black soot and I have used a few buttons (Prima I think) and this lovely sweet sentiment (brand new) called Art Phrases by Sam Poole. There are 11 sentiments all saying lovely Art/Wisdom type phrases. The "Word" ribbon I have had for ages, pearls are Hobby House and I have used a mask for the geometric background design inked over with Shabby Shutters.

Blue for a Boy~

Hello Girls.

A great big thank you to everyone who commented on the Scrapbook page of my lovely Nana, she means the world to me and your comments were just lovely, thank you all.
I have just taken her home after she came and had Tea with us.
I always make sure I have a lovely desert of some sort for her (she has a real sweet tooth!) and tonight I gave her Italian Lemon Pudding, she said "Yummy" and ate the lot!!

I made this "Baby" card last week for my Daughters Friend.
I just love this sweet little image, unfortunately not sure who's Digi it is. It makes for a perfect baby card, don't you think?

The papers used were all free in a magazine, I have added some gingham blue ribbon and a few Hobby House pearls and a MS edge punch. Image is coloured with Pro-Markers.
