Little Wooden House~

Hello Lovely Blog Friends
A Big Thank you for all the wonderful comments you leave for me I really do appreciate them.

I have a little Wooden House to show you today. I have made this for my coming Spring Craft Fair (12th April). They have always sold very well and the Christmas ones were a great hit last year.
I spend quite a lot of time hunting for little objects to pop on the shelves of these houses, but that's all part of the fun of making them. People seem to like the little scrabble tiles I use, I can make alsorts of words from them including names and little sentiments like this "Home" on today's house.

I have recently made two more of these houses as Commissions for two friends, but I forgot to photograph them before I gave them out!! One house was a Sand colour the other was Aqua. They all have similar little bits and bobs on the shelves. On one of the houses the lady gave me a swatch of fabric from her curtains and I used a circle from it, then popped it inside a Bottle Top and stuck this to the wall one of the shelve walls. You can just see a bottle cap used in this way in the bottom left box on this house.

The papers used in the house are all leftover bits n' bobs from my stash, as you only need tiny pieces this is a great way of using them up!
The paint is a tub of Do-crafts in Dove Grey, they have a lot of shades in these Acrylics especially made for Crafters they are lovely and creamy and easy to use.

I love this little house Debbie! I made one a while ago and I had so much fun looking for the little bits to go inside, I love the scrabble letters you have used, may have to 'borrow' that one :)
Hope you are well and not missing Angie too much. Had a busy day at ST today and I got to play with some of the Annamarie design stamps and papers, the stamps are so versatile, was quite tempted to get a set but have ordered a stamp set from The Stampman so will have to wait until payday again :)

Hi Debbie
This is totally fabulous - such a great keepsake and I can totally understand how much fun you must have seeking out bits and bobs to decorate it with.
Love the scrabble tiles - can I ask where you get them from?
The Craft Market wasn't too great today - but I sold a few cards that covered the cost of the table with a little bit left over - but the weather didn't help I'm sure.
Hope your Spring Fair goes well. My next one isn't until the end of June - so plenty of time to get crafty lol!!!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Hi Debs,
Love your curio box/house especially the lovely colour you've painted it.
I've done one of these and have exactly the same scrabble letters for the top shelf! Still looking for other bits and bobs though which is time consuming as they have to be just the right size but will blog it when completed. xx
