Love Bank Holiday Monday!!
Hi All,
I have had a lovely Bank Holiday Monday, hope you all have~
It could have started a bit better ~ My daughter was not feeling too well when she got up, and to make things worse she had to go off to work, fortunatly because she did not start until 1pm and she was up at 6am (feeling ill) she did have plenty of time to take painkillers and try to recover. Fortunatly before she went off to work she was starting to feel a bit better and did manage to stay all day...Great.
At 4pm my mum and nana came for their dinner with us, that was lovely. We had a roast Lamb dinner, with all the trimmings!...Delicious..Sorry to all vegetarians and lamb lovers...
This latest Easle card was made with an image from my friend Shelley, it'a a Leanne Ellis stamp, I think it's so sweet. I have a couple of these, but not this one, so thank you Shelley..
This card fit in with a couple of challenges: The Polycraft challenge wanted a "Hidden Message", (I did a little tab and held it down with a brad which could move away to reveal a message). The sketch is for Card Patterns, and Crafty Cardmakers asked for you to use two colours, one you like and one you don't, and for me this is Brown I do and Yellow I don't...Mind you now I have done it I quite like the Brown/Yellow combo.
I think I didn't like them together 'cos of the time I spent in the Brownies when I was 10 years old (not something I care to remember). Ha Ha!!!!!

Hugs, Marit.
Debbie, This one is lovely. I keep bumping into you on these Challenges - strange we have the same taste in them! I am quite fussy about which ones I do - dunno why - just me being me! Your dinner sounds lush even tho I cannot eat lamb. Just not keen on taste - nothing to do with cute furry fluffy animals. Sheila:)X
What a wonderful card and I loovvee the hidden message - so clever! Thanks for joining us at Pollycraft! xx
this is a lovely easel card. I do like your colour combo and your hidden message. Great job too with the image. Your meal sounded wonderful, how do you find the time! LOL, hugs Shelley
Hi Debbie, firstly thanks for your lovely comments on my blog. Glad you like my Tilda card. Your card is gorgeous and what a coincidence - I made a card with a Leanne Ellis design today! I love the hidden message - great idea and the brown/yellow colour combo is great too. I think a lotta colours go with brown x
