Double Win~ How lucky am I ?

I could not believe my eyes...Ooh sounds like that "Firefly" song!!
When I won TWO lots of september Candy!!!
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I won Squirrel and Mandy's Candy, so looking forward to seeing what that will be, have no idea!! A Great Big Thank you Ladies.

I have finished my two latest Scrapbooks and one has gone to it's new owner, the other is on it's way tonight, so I was free today to do a couple of commisioned cards before I start on my next set of three Scrapbooks (Oh a womans's work/Play is never done!!)Lol If only WORK was as much fun as Scrapbooking!!

I was asked to make a Grandad card using the LOTV image, so that was easy!!
I have chosen Green (as you know I love green!), and have followed the lovely sketch on Sketch Saturday. Image is LOTV Lazy Boy who I love, thought it would be perfect for a Grandad Birthday Card.

I have used two different coloured co-ordinates cardstock, and a sheet of DP from the Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses. I have used a Nestie for the circle Shape behind the image. The little picket fence is MS and Hobbyhouse make the Pearls. I wanted to use my new Nestie Tags to mount the sentiment, but they are quite large and I just couldn't get it to fit anywhere, in the end I printed one on the PC and just mounted it on card...quite pleased with that.
Then I had a brain wave....Oh that hurt... I thought should I cut the Nestie Tag and try to use it?? Ok, so I did, as you can see I added it to the sides of the image so it looks like a border....Oo I need a lie down now~

Entered into:

Sketch Saturday--Sketch
Paper Sundae--Stash
Polycraft--Anything Goes
Spectacular Sunday--Layer it up

Fab card. Such a great image for a male card, and the greens are perfect.

Thanks for leaving a lovely comment on my Blog Debbie, as you say it is quite scary when you think of Christmas being so close so although I am making Xmas cards I am not thinking about Christmas itself - that can wait until after Guy Fawkes !! By the way, I would love to see some of your scrapbooks as I make them too xx
