Hi Girls,
Busy day for me today. I have been to cut my Nana's hair.
For those of you who don't know, my lovely Nana is 94 years young and has the same Christmas Day Birthday as me!
She is a wonderful lady with the sharp brain of a woman 20 years younger, thank goodness she has all her faculties, she's amazing.
Well every 8 weeks or so, I go cut her hair and then four times a year I perm it for her, well today was cutting day! It doesn't take me long at all, about 40 minutes, but because her and my mum live together, I usually make the morning of it. We have a laugh about the latest "thing" or person. Nana likes nothing more than a talk about the latest news, we yak about anything, I love it.
Anyway after that I had the Kilimanjaro of ironing to do then, it was "Play Time"...Yah...
This is what I eventually came up with...Hope you like it.
I adore this Mo image. Reminds me so much of Summer Days in the Garden (Oh I cannot wait!)
It's a bit girly with the Pink, but I am not averse to a bit of bling, so here it is.
I have used some of my "First Edition" "Love Letters" papers, they are so sugary and pretty. I bought these buttons and ribbon from Hobbyhouse just recently. The Sentiment is Craftwork Cards, I have coloured it in with copics because it was white, now it's a very pale pink which fits in much better.

It's Warren the Rabbit Again~
Hello girls,
Hope you are all well. A big thank you to all my lovely followers (93 of you, I can hardly believe it), and I can also not believe on the 5th April I have been blogging for a year!! Wow.
I have enjoyed every single minute of it. I think I have managed quite well in combining blogging with work and all the other things I have to, and want to do.
I will be posting a "One Year Old" blog candy on Tuesday 5th April (If I can do it!) I hope all my lovely followers will join in, watch this space. I am hoping someone will give me some advice on how to keep the Candy at the top of my blog like others do?? Please let me know if you know, Ta.
Onto today's card. I have chosen the pre-printed rabbit "Warren" again, he is from Craftwork cards, but this time I have chosen the pre-coloured version.
I am very busy Scrapbooking at the moment, but still want to do the occasional card. These images are fantastic when you are short of time and cannot find time to fit in a spell of colouring! I have chosen some pink dotty paper from my stash of leftovers! and some pink embossed Swiss dot paper. The swirl is Magnolia, the pearls are Hobbyhouse and the sentiment came on the sheet with the image. I have used my Nestie for the circles and scallops.

Summer Day's Are On The Way~
Hello Girls,
I have had a busy day today and this is the first time I have had to go on line and see you all.
I went to work this morning.
Then home for lunch, straight after that it was off to meet my friends at our monthly "Cut and Chat" craft club. What a great time we all had, thank you girl's for the lovely company (even if the room was not quite up to scratch!!)
After finishing off my commission work of "Save the Date" wedding cards, I did manage to make this card using the gorgeous LOTV Fairy image. Now in a mo I need to get back to Scrapbooking before I go to bed.
I know this LOTV fairy stamp is not one of the latest releases, but I have used her several times before on a topper and do think she is so stunning and so delicate.
I did only buy her recently when I went to Harrogate along with a few others, cannot wait to ink them all up!!
I have used some of my new papers by Prima, and some lace I bought locally. The pin is Hobbyhouse as are the flowers. The sentiment is also LOTV as is the background music stamp, just up in the left hand corner. I have stamped this with cocoa memento ink. All the edges of the paper are inked with Tim Holtz Bundled Sage and I have added a touch of Stardust Stickles.
I have used my new style cards, with the cute little pointy edge. I saw Vicky had used something similar and loved them, when in Harrogate I saw on the Craftwork cards stall that they had them, so I thought great, I will have me some of them! It makes a change from using just 6x6 square which are what I usually use and are my favorites.
I would like to enter this card into the following:

CES--Die Cut Crazy
One Stop--Fairies
PaperPlay--Distressing
Stamp Something--Spring

Monochromatic Bunny~
Hi Ladies~
Monochromatic Bunny...Sounds like the name of a New Sci-Fi Movie at the Cinema..BUT no it's my latest card creation!!
I have chosen this pre-printed image by Craftwrok Cards. Never seen them before and wish I had bought more of them. They come in just grey print, I have coloured them in very lightly with pro-markers. You can buy pre-coloured versions of them too, just thought they were different and love the very pretty bunny.
All three matching papers are also Craftwork Cards, flower punch is NS and border punch Ek success. Forgot I had this old ribbon tucked away, think it matches the Mono look quite well. Not very complicated today, simple card to make.
Hope you are all doing well and are enjoying your weekend.

Lovely LOTV Fairy~
Hi Girls,
How nice is this "Spring" weather we are having? I just love it, doesn't it make you feel so happy and have more energy "to craft"!
I have been really busy Scrapbooking over the last four days, but decided to have tonight off (I have done a couple of pages this afternoon) so it was time to have a little play with one of my new LOTV stamps.....I have had them since SUNDAY and not yet had a chance to even look at them!!
I was a little greedy and did buy quite alot of these stamps, including three sets of round Sentiments which are delightful. Had a slight heart flutter today when the Visa Bill arrived, did not know if I should run away, but then I thought "how am I going to get all my stash into my 107???? Impossible, as I cannot even get my supermarket shopping in it!! LOL
Anyway onto tonight's card: I have used one of the LOTV Sentiments aswell as the lovely Fairy Image. I used a new scalloped Nestie circle behind the sentiment, and another to mat the image. This paper is MME, MS border punch, Ribbon from Hobbyhouse as are the flowers and the pearls. Finished with some diamond stickles. I have coloured the image using Pro-Markers.

Template Show and Tell~
Hiya Girls,
A couple of you out there have asked about the template for my little Mother's Day baskets I made in my last post. I don't know where it came from and was a while ago now that I first made them, but I have tried (try being the operative word, as I have never done this before) to show a sort of picture of a basket in stages and hopefully it will help...SO here goes:
It is the easiest basket I have ever made. You need some plain cardstock, I use Basil Basics. Cut it to a 6x6 size (that's inches) then score two inch lines around all edges as shown:
Now you cut down two sections opposite each other as shown:
You then just cover the panels with your chosen paper. I cut 2x2" squares and then just take a slither off each end so they will fit, but if you want to measure each one accurately you can (I find no need tho'):
Then you simply fold up and brad the join as shown:
For the handle you need to cut a strip 2"x8" and then punch along the edges. You can then stick ribbon or paper down the centre.
Finally join handle onto the brad you have used and fill with tissue and your favorite treat...
I hope this is ok, not sure it is accurate enough, but you can Email me for other info if you like, address is at the top of my blog.

Me again~
Yes it's me again with another post. You would think I had nothing to do but craft wouldn't you? Well I haven't!!
I have however been making little "Mother's Day" baskets for my Mum's at Playgroup, and some little Easter Buckets (filled with Eggs) for the children in the group for Easter.
I did some of the mum's day baskets last week so finished them all off today. They have a lovely jar of bath salts, and body lotion inside.
The little buckets were bought in a local "discount" shop, I just love them and think they will be handy for keeping little bricks or toys in after Easter! I filled them with choccie eggs and then used my shredder to shred up coloured paper and then stuffed that in and over the top. I then popped them into a plastic lunch bag and tied the top with ribbon....What do you think?

Dance Girl Dance!
Hello Girls,
Thank you all for my recent comments, love to read what you all have to say, thank you.
I was up at the crack of dawn today. Daughter's car broke down on the way home from work last night, so I had to take her to work this morning as her car is now in the garage. She starts at 8 o'clock, but has quite a drive of around 25 mins, so I had to do that there and back. At least I have been able to do jobs and make and post a card before lunch....Good Stuff~
This is a cute Little image, but I cannot think who's make it is, it could be Whiff of Joy, but not sure. I know one of you clever girls will be able to tell me.
The background paper (well cardstock) is Nit Wit and the flowers are NS. The sentiment is one of the Craftwork Cards ovals and have used my Nestie to matt behind it. The image is coloured with three new Copic colours, they had 36 new colours to choose from so I bought 12, and they are lovely.
As I am entering this card into CES Challenge and they want the card to be inspired by a song. I thought I would make this card for my Niece. Her Birthday is not until May, but I can put it away until then, the ironic bit is that Leah (my Niece) is a singer and has actually sung the song I have chosen which is The Arctic Monkey's "I bet you look good on the dancefloor"!!! She will love it, she dances like this girl too!!

What a great Weekend~
Hi Girls,
I have got to tell you about the fab weekend I had with my lovely friend Angie at Harrogate Paper Show....It was great. I did however spend a huge amount of money, why is it you feel great spending it, then you feel a bit embarrassed at how much you spent (on yourself!) afterwards.
BUT I have got to say that on Friday I did collect £130 (off a few friends) to send to The Japan Earthquake Fund, so I have done my bit on the Charity front and that felt brilliant.
I was very shocked and happy to discover that when Angie and I got back to the hotel after our first days crafting, guess what was waiting for me in the room...No not Daniel Craig (a girl can dream!) The next best thing...Gorgeous Champagne, how lovely. Angie had set it up in the room as yet another treat for my Christmas Birthday, thank you so much Angie, so please to have shared such a lovely weekend with you....here's to the next one.
Thought I would show you a picture of Some of my stash I bought, Ooh cannot wait until I can have a play with it!

One of Mo's Boys~
Hello Ladies~
What a totally gorgeous day, so warm and sunny, just what we need after all that snow last year.
I am getting very excited about my weekend away "Craft" shopping at Harrogate, it all starts at 8 tomorrow morning, I will try to show you all the goodies I buy after the weekend..
Oh, now then not too sure about today's card.....I am not always happy when I do the distressed look.
I visited Tab's blog the other morning and she said the same thing (mind you her work was gorgeous!) but I do think other people do distressing so good and then I do it and think Oh no!
Not sure If I am just a Clean lines girl! It won't stop me having a go tho', 'cos I love all types of crafting, I am not afraid to have a go even if I am not happy with the end result.
Next week I will be keeping in touch, visiting you all, but I have a Scrapbook to start, so I will not be making as many cards. I am hoping I will be able to show you some of the pages and Layouts I get made, but will have to ask permission to show them first, hopefully they will say yes!
So onto today's card the "depressed, I mean distressed" card in question!
The gorgeous image is one of Mo's, Oh I do love her Digital Pencil, I don't think I have seen any of her images I don't like. Just recently I won her challenge and chose the little girl with the string of Strawberry's, so sweet.
Anyway this one is one of hers too, just look at this little dog, just waiting for the boys biscuit bits to fall off so he can eat them! LOL
Mind you it's mouth is a bit close to it, and his tongue is almost touching it....naughty dog!
I have used co-ordinates cardstock for the background and the embossed sheet, embossed with a Tim Holtz folder. Coloured with Pro-Markers. I have used some twine/raffia and a sheet of Desert and Blooms stripy paper,(Gorgeous paper, every sheet!) Finished with some Platinum Stickles.

Happy St. Patricks Day~
Hi Girls, Happy St. Patricks day for those of you who celebrate it.
I don't, but that doesn't stop me making a card in my favorite colour....Green!
I have had this little GF stamp (along with a boy) for about three weeks, I managed to have the winning bid on Ebay,so was delighted.
The two images comes in their underwear!! AND some clothes for you to PP which is what I have done here, using this sweet tiny spotty green Memory Box paper. All these papers are Memory Box, my favorite one is the very pale green with the script on, just love it.
Coloured with pro-markers, Hobbyhouse pearls and a Marianne die added. The ribbon was bought at Harrogate show last September, and as I am off there the day after tomorrow (OOh) I will be looking out for more of this, it's been so useful and I love it.

Home "Tweet" Home~
Hello ladies, hope I find you all well.
Cannot believe that next month it will be a whole year that I have been blogging....I can remember my Friend Shelley saying, get yourself a blog you will love it. I came home and sat for a few hours with hubby, getting very frustrated, trying to set it up....That was that, once I was up and running there was no stopping me.
I can say I love my blog and you blog buddies, don't really know what I did before it!!
Thank you to all my followers, I am hoping to post my first ever candy (if I can managed to do it!) on my Blog Birthday, so watch this space!!
I did not make this card today, I made it last weekend. My friends daughter and her boyfriend are moving into their first home together at the end of the month, I wanted to make them a nice "New Home" card, so here it is.
I love this Mo Manning digi image, so cute, two lovely little cuddly birds, just nice for a housewarming card.
The gorgeous papers are one of my all time favorites, I still have a couple of sheets left, but I am going to try to get more when I am away this weekend, it is from Bo Bunny, and the brown border strip is the reverse of the pink flower/heart paper, just lovely, I have used it loads.
The flower is NS, border punch is MS, pearls are Hobbyhouse, coloured with Pro-markers and finished with a Key charm from my stash.

LOTV Topper Card~
Hi Girls, Just a quick post tonight before bed and my Craft Fair in the morning, hope it goes well, made lots of craft item, just hope people like them!
Can I apologise for the horrendous photograph, I am no David Bailey, I am rubbish at it, but hey ho, can't be good at everything!! LOL
I have made a card using a LOTV image, but it NOT a stamped image, it's a topper. I bought loads of these last year and they have come in really handy when pushed for time, they are so sweet and I love this one with it's "cookie" little girl and her cat!
I have used some of my New papers from, Memory Box Minuet, Dovecraft Tea House and First Edition Desert & Blooms...Was meant to be saving my money for next weekend, but I just couldn't help but have these packs when I saw them, they are all stunning.
I have used my NS small and large flower punch and leaf, Hobbyhouse pearls and an old sentiment I bought off QVC. All finished off with Stardust Stickles.

I would like to enter this into:

Door Hanger~
Hiya Girls~
I have been busy all week, "Crafting" and so not been able to post any projects 'till now.
I have a Spring Fair of Sunday, and I have been on "Make it" mode all week. Up to now I have made Cards, Bags, boxes, Notelets and Door Hangers, and it is one of them I have to show you today.
They are only a quick make, nothing over the top, but when you are making a few it's hard to spend too much time on them, as you need to get on and make more.
I tried to keep it Girly,so used Pink of course, and the lovely Magnolia Tag (I cannot get enough of using this!) The papers are from my new stash by Dovecraft called "Tea House". They are ever so sweet, full of cakes and tea pots, flowers and dots, a nice pinky/greeny mix.
The Big Swirl is Magnolia as is the Tag, and I have used my circle and scalloped circle Nestie for the hole in the top. I have inked all the edges with Memento Cotton Candy ink.
I would like to Enter:

C.R.A.F.T Ch--Door Hanger
Fab N' Funky--Make it Girly

Try it on Tuesday--Use a Tag

Fly Me to the Moon....
Hello Again...
Are you singing the Fly me to the Moon Song?
I was, the minute I saw the challenge at Polycraft Monday Challenge.
When I saw the challenge I knew I had this cute Leanne Ellis "Moon Beam" stamp. It is over three months old and I have not used it yet! Naughty me!
Anyway knew it would be perfect for this challenge, She is so sweet isn't she?
I have used up all my bits of paper stash, so don't know any names, sorry, but I do know the gorgeous ribbon punch is brand new Anna Griffin, the sentiment is by The Greeting Farm. I have coloured with Pro-Markers added a tad of stardust stickles, added ribbon and Hobbyhouse Gems. DONE!

Easter Boxes~
Hello Girls~
What a gorgeous day here today, lots of sunny patches, mind you I spent the morning in work and then the afternoon in the local hospital with my sister. I am happy to report she has had her plaster cast removed (6 weeks it's been on) and although she has been given the all clear, she has got to be very careful as it's not fully healed. She is ecstatic, I have never seen her so happy!!
Before I get to the card I have made tonight, I thought I would share with you what I have been doing over the last two days....
On Dorcas's blog she showed this box template and because she "kindly" had the size in inches, I thought I would have a go.....two days later I had made 10 of them to take to the Craft Fair on Sunday this coming weekend, hope the ladies there like them as much as I do, and if they don't, the my mum's at Playgroup might get given them filled with goodies for Mother's Day! I have yet to put some lovely tissue paper inside them just to get them ready to fill with choccie's for Easter.
Managed to Enter them into:

Show and Tell~
Hiya Girls~
What a super day here again weather wise. I had work this morning and then popped to see my mum and sister in the afternoon.
I have been busy making Engagement invites for the last two days, so no cards to show you this week.
I have got something gorgeous to show you tho'..............
I was so excited to get these hAngler Stamps in the post today. I only bought them two days ago after a heads up from Tab to say they were on Ebay. (Thank you Tab).
I was amazed I managed to get them (usually miss out). I think there were about 12 sets altogether and by the time I had paid for mine through Pay Pal, they had all gone...How lucky was I?
(might have to do the lottery now!)
They came all the way from Sweden, yet they took no time at all to come, I was not expecting them until at least Monday next week, so was amazed when they came today.
Anyway I am going bonkers, as I have not been able to ink them up....Just have not had time. Once my invites are out the way I will have a lovely play....BUT for now my paying customer comes first!!
Hope you like the invites I am doing. I have used the LOTV stamp (thank you Shelley for loaning it to me) and just kept the whole card Black & White as instructed. I think it works great and looks really nice. I stamped and embossed the image, cut the circles on the cuttlebug with a Nestie. The doily edge is made using one of my MS patp punches. The sentiment is pc generated and the cards used are small 5x5.
Totally Gorjuss--Black &? (in my case White)
