With all my jobs done and out the way, I have had time today for a play.
I was desperate to do a bit of Scrapbooking, not done any for ages and I was beginning to get withdrawal symptoms.LOL
I have entered the sketch over at Scrap365 with my Layout. Did you know Scrap 365 is a fantastic New Scrapbook magazine and is just perfect if you want to have a go at making some beautiful pages for all your memories.
This is a really old photo of my two children, the date on the back said 6.8.1993. My Daughter Eve is about two and a half on the photo, and last weekend she celebrated her 21st Birthday, so quite a while ago when this photo was taken. I love the way they were always playing together, she was just so fantastic with him, don't think she ever resented him for one minute, she was like a little mother hen (nothing has changed!) and Matthew has always loved her to bits, even now at 19 he asks her opinion on such alot of subjects, I am so proud of both of them, they are lovely children.
I have followed the sketch at 365 and have used a sheet of MME paper called Hip Hooray (spotty paper) and also a sheet of Dream street paper called Fresh.
This is the first time I have made one of these pleated flowers and I am quite pleased at how it has turned out and was much easier to make than i thought.
The chipboard "Laugh" is by K&co and I have used Inks and a number mask in a couple of the corners. The small circles are created with a wine cork!

Love your layout Debbie! The paper is gorgeous and the subjects are super cute! It's amazing how time flies and kids grow up so quickly! I really need to get back to scrapbooking again. Love your pleated flower, did you use a tutorial? Thanks for your super sweet comment on my card, it totally made my day :)

A great layout Debbie - your flower looks gorgeous. I'm enjoying Scrap 365 too, but I am still working my way through the layouts in the first edition!

Hi Debbie, Just noticed you had difficulty adding your layout to the Scrap 365 webpage but it seems to be there now. I have had the same problem so wondering how it got sorted??
