Hi All Hope you all had a fab Christmas and a great New Year.
It's all go for me at the mo, even if I do have a bit of a cold and generally feel a bit low!
I have been "Zumba" dancing each day on the Wii since getting it as a pressie off hubby for Christmas. My daughter has set it up so I can do 30 minutes (to start with) each day, I will soon have that "Turkey Dinner" removed from my tummy!!
My Daughter will be 21 on 22nd January, but firstly she goes off skiing with her boyfriend and returns the day before. I am planning the house party fun, cake, food, bunting etc while she is away. I have help from my Mother-in-Law Heather (her cakes are second to none, and she will be doing the "Baking" part of the cakes,) this is a photo of the cake & cakes we are hoping to copy:
Isn't it fantastic? Just hope Heather and I can re-create it.
My craft room is finally back...great stuff. So now I can make My Wedding Anniversary card, Daughters 21st + her three friends, 2 friend Birthday's and they are only the ones I remember! (bound to be more!!). SO I need to get a move on!!
I wanted to share with you the "House" I made before Christmas. I have made it for a friend's Birthday and although over Christmas I made quite a few Red Christmas versions of it (which all sold!!) i have only made two like this one, hope you like it.

Sweet Stampin Challenge...Teddy Skating!
Hi Girls,
This could possibly be my last post until after the Festive Season, (have put up my tree which makes it hard for me to reach my craft items), but I will see if I can squeeze another project in b4 my guests arrive.
I would like to take this opportunity to wish all my lovely Blog Friends a Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year, may you all stay safe and well and come back rejuvenated for more crafting in 2012!
So onto today's card. It's been made for our challenge this week over at Sweet Stampin, and the theme is "Glitter/Sparkle or Bling", and our Sponsor is Di's Digi's.
Easy challenge for this time of year!
It runs for TWO WEEKS so lots of time to join in.
I have used a Kanban Christmas Teddy, some Silver Mirri board for the "Bling" element. Stickles are always a good way to add a spot of Glitter, so there you go. Not sure what the papers are as they are all left overs from my stash.
Over the Holiday Season I will still be around to keep an eye on you, so keep up the lovely work.

Another Tim Tag!!
Hi Girls,
Oh no...I have the "Tim Tag" Bug!!
Ha...Cannot believe I am up for another one! When I saw today's tag I thought "Go on then have a go, so I did!.LOL
So here is Tim's Masterpiece:
And Eh, here is my Effort:
Not quite as happy with this one, but I did enjoy making it, and my Flower soft Lamppost finally got an outing! Unfortunately my pathetic embossing did not live up to the real thing, I have never been very good a that part of craft, but It did work, just not as good as it should have done!

My First EVER Tim Holtz "Tag"~
Hi Girls,
Just a quick post from me today. I was desperate to have a go at one (or more) Tim "Tag's"....BUT not only did I not think I could do it, but also was not sure I had half the things to do it with or the expertise.
Yesterday's tag looked good, but I chickened out at the last minute, thought "No I can't do it".
Then I saw today's tag.....Ah ha, Maybe, just maybe I could actually do this one!
This one is Tim's....
And this one is mine!!
WHAT DO YOU THINK? I am actually quite pleased with it! Mind you I was furious as I have a tin of the "film strip" (that Tim has used) but, could I find it? Could I hec..

Family Christmas Cards...
Hello Girls,
Hope I find you all well. Are you busy like me? Gosh every day something to do (in the Christmas department!!)
I visited a local school this morning to watch their Christmas Play dress rehearsal, it was really good. I went into the school to make Christmas Decorations a few weeks ago and they asked me to come back when they were doing the play. I agreed to the dress rehearsal and went today, it was so funny and the songs were fantastic (one of them made me have a little cry!!) They are only little 2-7 year olds, yet the play was really good.
One of the Shepherds (a boy about 3 years old) did have a little play with his toy lamb, throwing it around and putting it under his dress every 5 minutes, (that was until the teacher took it off him!!) Very amusing.
I then had a busy afternoon. Hopefully I will have a few less jobs to do tomorrow, and may even be able to have a little "Craft" time!!
Today's two cards are made for my Son and Daughter for Christmas, thought I would show them to you.
Matthew my Son's card is made using the gorgeous "Warren", I just love him, Matthew is a bit quirky so think he will like the "Tipsy" Warren!!
On my Daughters card I have used one of Mo's Toppers, I just love this Fairy and I think my Daughter Eve will too. She likes things simple, so I did not go too mad with different papers.

It's Begining to look alot like Christmas..........
Hi Girls,
I have been a busy body lately, so not been able to visit as often as I would like to, once Christmas is over and done with, I will be back as usual!
Can it be December already?? You must be having a laugh!!
Done a spot of shopping, got around 50 Christmas cards made, parcels are arriving from Amazon on a daily basis!! (Mostly addressed to my daughter!!)
The house soft furnishings are slowly being washed, and I have started to put the odd box of something yummy & nice away in the cupboard for "Christmas Nibble" time!!
BUT it has still got me in a turmoil at how close it is coming around!
Today's card is made for our challenge over at Sweet Stampin this week, the theme is "Snow", so Snow flakes or Snowman/women etc, our sponsor is Crafty Emma Designs. It's a great challenge for this time of year, so if you haven't started your cards yet, get started by entering with us this week.
My card is made using a Heather Ellis "Snowman", so sweet. I have used lots of leftover bits of DP, the paper with music and words on is especially nice. The sentiment was free in a magazine and the image is coloured with Pro-markers.

Fairy Christmas!!
Hello Girls,
It's not been a bad day today, but since around 4pm the wind has really picked up and it is quite strong at the mo.
Tomorrow is Hubby's Birthday, so it will be cakes for tea!!
Well not just cake's! Other food will be served too!! BUT cake will arrive at the end! We are refraining from putting candles on it, wouldn't want the Fire Brigade showing up would we.....LOL (Or would we!!)
Anyway no more messing, straight on to tonight's card.
I have not used this "Fairy" much this year (did use her allot last year) and yet I love her. She is by Penny Black and I think she is called High Spirits. I was searching for a Sentiment I knew I had somewhere, when I came across her and thought, Oh how nice I will use you now! So here she is. She is coloured using pro-markers, everything else used is out of my bit box!

My Special Little Friend~
Hi Girls,
My card today is made using one of my favorite Christmas Images...a Heather Ellis digi. I just love it. I think the little Snowman is so sweet and it is just so easy to colour.
I have used some gorgeous new blue snowflake paper by Little Yellow Bicycle called Frosty Flurries, teaming it with some Kraft card. The punch is Ek Success, and this is one of my new shaped Nesties, isn't it a nice shape?

Family Christmas Cards~
Hi Girls.
I am a little tired today.....I have been working with a bunch of 6 year olds, 25 of them!!
Twice this week I have been teaching some "Crafting" at a local School. Wednesday I taught 24 3-5 year olds (OMG, great, but hard work!) and today I have been captivated by the 6 year olds. They have been hilarious and were on full scale Christmas mode. I was treated to five Christmas Songs (which they are to perform for their parents in December) I knew one of them, so joined in to the children's delight!! (They must be tone deaf!!)
The best fun I had was when I told them my Birthday was Christmas Day, and Mrs Beckett their teacher said "Poor Debbie, she won't get Christmas and Birthday presents, just one big pressy, what a shame", to which one of the children said "Oh how awful, I bet that has ruined your whole life"!! I don't have to tell you I was crying laughing.
I found the day today so good and wish I was back working with them, they were a delight and they loved making the corner bookmarks and the door hangers.
Before I settle down to watch Avatar with hubby I will share a card with you. I have been tyring to make some Family Christmas Cards and last night managed to make Hubby's, Daughter's, Son's and my Mum/Nana's, so I was really pleased.
This one is Hubby's and the image I think is a Kanban Set but not sure. Coloured with Copic/Pro's, and the papers are all leftovers from my box. I have used a Swiss Dot Folder through my Vagabond to texture the green card. Sentiment is PC generated.
Unfortunatly I made a Boo Boo with the colouring of the Teddy's hand!! Instead of colouring it brown (bear colour) I decided to colour it Green! Yes I know, big difference, thought it was part of the hat 'till I looked closer, too late. Don't think Hubby will notice though!!

Full on Christmas Planning~
Hello Girls,
My title says "Full on Christmas Planning" BUT I can tell you It feels like I am doing it too early!! BUT according to the TV today there are 37 days left....YES I did say 37, it's creeping up just too quickly. I have done a little Christmas Shopping in Glasgow at the weekend, but still need a few more essential things before I can concentrate on the food and drink part of Christmas!!
Anyway, onto today's card. I am still on Christmas card mode and doing really well, I have a Christmas Fair next weekend, so the more cards I can make before then the better. This is a Little Claire Design stamp called Lampost Snowman, and I have coloured it with Pro-markers. The papers used were free in the latest Scrapbook Magazine. The Postmark Sentiment is one of my favorites and is a Clarity Stamp, the Holly is made on the Cricut Machine and I have added some Card Candy and Stickles.

Fly me to the Moon (LOTV)
Hello girls~
Feels like ages since I posted anything (although it was only Saturday, well a scheduled post Saturday, so that's why it feels like ages!!)
I am on FULL Christmas Card mode, and have been for the last few weeks. Occasionally I am making the odd card for a friends Birthday, or a card for Sweet Stamping DT, (Oh and Scrapbooking) but other than that It's Christmas all the way....No way am I getting caught out this year!
I cannot believe it's November 10th tomorrow, that's the day I am off to Glasgow Christmas shopping with my friend Angie for two days.
It is our annual trip, we love it up there, and this will be our 16th year (I think!). The shopping is fantastic and a few miles from our hotel is a great Craft shop (really big) and we are hoping to buy some lovely stash!!
We do lots of Christmas shopping, some eating and drinking and have a great fun time. I cannot wait now!
I had a busy day today, ironing, shopping & packing amongst other things, so have not had a chance to make a card until now.
I hope you like it, the image is the lovely LOTV Moon and Fairy, isn't she a delight?
I was not too happy with the way I had coloured her, but I chose the challenge over at Passion for Pro-Markers "Kraft + 1 other colour", so wanted to keep it Black and Kraft. I have used Pro-Markers, Graphic 45 paper (My favorite Christmas paper this year) a woodware snowflake and an EK success border punch.

Monster Mash for Halloween~
Hello Girls, And Happy Halloween for those who celebrate.
I don't really like Halloween or Bonfire night, but I still have a stash of sweets for the hoard of witches that will show up tonight after tea.
My Son has carved my Pumpkin (as always) and it is especially good this year, he is soooo clever at doing it, it looks really great.
I hope you like my "Boy" card today. I don't make many boy cards, but as I have a Christmas Fair in November I know I will get asked for some, so in between making Christmas Cards I am also making the odd "boy" one too.
Not sure where this digi image is from, had it a while now and not used it.

I bought some Kraft card in Port Sunlight, and I have been "Krafting" mad....Almost used the 6 A4 sheets in one go! Love it!
I think it works so well with Christmas cards, especially if you are using "Red", so once again I have used mine with a Crimbo card.
All other papers used are just leftovers, image and Sentiment are LOTV which I have jazzed up abit with Stickles. The lovely flower is Craftwork Cards, Metal Charm and Corner are Hobbyhouse, I have used some lovely green & red Bakers Twine and the little button is from my stash.

Baby Fairy Flora~
Hi Girls,
WOW I have had a fab morning watching the rugby, and as a Neutral I did not really mind who won. As It happened France gave NZ a good run for their money, but I was very pleased for NZ.
Even if you are not a Rugby fan, you must watch it just for the Hakka....Unbelievable and the most fantastic thing to see!!
I have finished my ironing and have yet to go food shopping, but I have had a little time this morning to finish off my card I started yesterday before watching Strictly and X Factor. Unfortunately X is turning into a Battle Field between the Ego of the Judges, so hubby and I are fed up with it already.
Louis keeps giving Sammi the wrong (old fashioned) song, but she should say NO!
Gary (who I USED to just love) Is turning into my Grandad!! What is he like, lighten up a bit Gary! On a positive note, if you want proper entertainment go over to the BBC and tune into Strictly It is great this year. As always Russel was great, so was little Chelsee, but everyone (bar Nancy) is really doing well, it's good fun!
Right no more waffle:
I have used my new Mo image on this latest card. Oh I just think she is so sweet "Baby Fairy Flora". I have seen this image as a digi, but when I was away at Port Sunlight and saw her in a stamp I just had to have her.
I have used some Memory Box papers, Hobbyhouse flowers and bits n'bobs from my stash.
I have followed this fab sketch from Sketch Saturday and have used Pro-Markers to colour the image.

The Moon & Me~
Hi Girls,
Hope I find you all well.
I had a little craft time this afternoon, as I knew it would be all TV tonight...What with Strictly, Merlin and X Factor, Saturday Evening's are turning into Feet up with Choccie time!!
This afternoon I managed to make a couple of Christmas cards to add to my stash. I am doing quite well and have 35 now.....Not sure that's anywhere near enough tho'!!
At least if I can make a few each week then I should be ok.
I have used this "Gorgeous" LOTV image. I have had her for over a month now, and when I saw Vicky had used her the other day I thought she looked so gorgeous that I just had to ink her up....I love her, she's so sweet just sitting there on the Moon!
The Lovely Holly paper is Basic Grey "Fruitcake" and is one of my favorite Christmas papers this year.
I have just bought these new Sizzix Star die's and I am really pleased with them, think they will be great to use on Boy/Men cards.
The image is coloured with a mix of Pro-Markers and Marvey Markers. All finished with a few Hobbyhouse pearls, a couple of buttons from my stash, stickles and a LOTV sentiment.

Sweet Stampin DT card~ Row your Boat!
Hello Girls,
A scheduled post from me today, this card is for our Challenge over at Sweet Stampin, and that's "In Stitches".
Don't think you can see my stitching very clearly unless you zoom in, but I have done two lines of stitching around the pink border.
I will be at Port Sunlight in Liverpool when this post goes live. I will be at the "Stamping Show". It's a lovely place to go and It has lots of crafting goodies, I have taken my list and some dosh to spend!!
Hubby said "Did you not just go Craft shopping to Harrogate last month"!!
To which I replied "That was a month ago, durr"!! Lol
This latest card is made using Basic Grey "out of print" papers, a craftwork cards sentiment, a Bildmalarna image, coloured with Pro-Markers. I have made the little button by cutting 7 small circles on my cricut machine, sticking them together in a stack and punching two holes with my cropadile, I have then added some Hobbyhouse ribbon.
I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafters Companion--Pink & Green
Basic Grey--Rhymes (Row, Row, Row your Boat!)

Hi Girls, Thought you might like to see the picture of the "Spider" that has made it's home right outside my kitchen door!! So Sorry if anyone has "Arachnophobia", but he is just fantastic isn't he? the web is incredible and goes between two planter tubs we have on the patio. He has been there for ages, just hope he is ok in this strange weather we are having, one minute sunny the next (like today) raining all day!!

Wooden House's~
Hi girls,
I am finding it a bit hard to post as often as I have in the past.
I thought being out of work would mean "More Time", however that has NOT been the case!!
I have a few iron's in the fire at the mo, so hopefully a part-time job will pop up soon. Long gone are the Full time hours (don't think I could manage that after 15 years part-time!!)but I would like to be able to contribute a bit to the house!!
Today's projects are Altered Art little wooden houses. I picked these up from Samuel Taylor's Stall at Harrogate (well actually 4 of them!). I have really enjoyed making these and my friend Angie and I are giving one of them to a friends Daughter, Amy, for her coming Birthday.
I love putting all the "Findings" in and personalising it, like with these Scrabble Tiles which spell out "Amy's" name! Or in the Christmas version, another Amy and her hubby Dan!
The houses are painted with Adirondack paint dabbers, these colours are Mushroom & Pepper, but they do tons of colours from black to pastel pinks. They are really easy to use, the paint is pushed through a sponge dabber, so nice and easy to paint onto surfaces. I have then used leftover papers to line the inside walls, before adding and making all the Findings to go inside.
I really enjoy making these houses they are very therapeutic, I have a commission to make another two more for a friend, so great stuff!

Sweet Stampin DT "Snowman Card"~
Hi Girls,
Over at Sweet Stampin today our Challenge is "Anything Goes" with optional Sketch...No excuse not to enter with an "Anything Goes" challenge, nice and easy!
The theme this week is chosen by the lovely Teresa and our sponsors are Quixotic Paperie.
I have used this gorgeous "Snowman" digi image by Heather Ellis, I just love this image, infact she does some beautiful Christmas images, I was a bit stuck on which to use as they are all lovely. Watch this space for the "Little girl and her Snowman" It is gorgeous and I will be using her soon!
I have used some Bo-Bunny and S.E.I papers, a Craftwork Cards sentiment and three little brad snowflakes (they were silver coloured and I decided to make them red with a copic marker). The card looks like it has some nice green spotty ribbon wrapped round it, BUT it hasn't....It's faux. The Bo-Bunny papers are fab for this and always look so real. The image is coloured with a mix of Pro's and Marvey markers.

Sweet Bildmalarna Girl~
Hello Girls,
Hope I find you all well.
Hubby gone off to Antwerp today for a "Jolly Boy's Weekend", Oh would I like to be a fly on the wall?......Not!!
It's all boozing and eating......Oh and I did remind him as he left that Antwerp is a massive "Diamond" outlet!!! Oh and Belgium Choccies!!!
I have had a busy old day today, but hopefully after my session at Zumba tomorrow morning I can have a bit of a play. My bestest mate Angie is calling for a play too, I think we are "Tim Holtz configuration Box Altering", should be loads of fun!
I made this card a couple of days ago and it is using one of my new purchases..A Bildmalarna stamp, isn't she adorable. I have had my eye on her for a while now and have seen a few of you using her.
The papers are all leftovers from my ever increasing stash!! Nestie is also one of my new ones, flowers are called "Tiny Tots", sentiment is Craftwrok Cards and little pearls are Hobbyhouse. I have also used a MS punch for the border.

For Chloe~
Hi Girls,
Thought I would just share with you the two projects made for my son's Girlfriend Chloe. She is leaving for University Tomorrow and Matthew (my Son) and I have made her a pressy each to take with her.
This is the box before I Altered it:
And this is it after!
This little box is filled with goodies, Sweets, Shower Gel, Note Book, Socks and a key ring. I made the box using one of Paper mania's bare boxes. I have covered it in K&co paper, Tim's tissue paper and sprayed it with my new Spray Sprinky's Aegean Sea inks. The little flower is chipboard and is covered in Adirondack Acrylic Paint in Pool, the top then has Crushed Glass beads on and then covered in Glossy Accents as are the K&co letters.
Matthew's present is a Canvas that he uses in his Art at College.
He has taken a photograph from his recent Holiday with Chloe in Tunisia and has copied it several times on the printer and then cut out individual layers in order to Spray Paint each layer. So each of the colours you see is a separate layer that he sprays and lets dry...(I just love watching him do this, it is so time consuming, but he just gets a craft knife and off he goes, then on goes his mask and the spraying is next!)
This is the original photograph:
Isn't the finished result Stunning? I absolutely love it, no wonder he does so well at Art in College, he is so dedicated to it.

Mo's Lovely Christmas Toppers~
Hi Girls,
When I was at Harrogate Show I picked up some Mo Manning Toppers from Jill on Hobbyhouse. She had five designs and I picked up a sheet of each. These two cards are made using them. I also used the images for some Christmas Bags, so will show them at a later date. They are nice and easy to use and with a touch of Stickles they look super.
The papers I have used on these two cards are by the brilliant Graphic 45. The holly background and the little Carol are all from the one sheet of double sided paper, fab! (Just wish I have bought more of them!) Isn't that always the way when you get home, you find something you love and wish you had bought more of!!
Fortunately I am off to Port Sunlight Stamp show in October, so I will put these papers on my list to get then.
I am full up of cold at the mo, it just came on me so quickly, did a whole load of sneezing then, a full blown cold appeared. I have dosed up with Flu capsules and will keep warm while having a crafty day. It's raining here, so would not be going out anyway.

HomeGrown--Little Boots
Hello All~
Oh, it seems ages since I posted anything on my blog, (my last card was scheduled, so it was posted quite a bit in advance!)
My trip to Harrogate with Angie was fantastic (mind you Angie's mum says we would have a good time in a paper bag!! Must try that sometime!!)
We managed to visit Art from the Heart's shop, twice (including being part of their 10th Birthday workshop) We then went to the GNPE show (twice) and did two of their workshops aswell. (It all sounds very greedy when you say it like that!!!)
Angie and I spent a shed load of dosh and got some gorgeous goodies.
It was a great weekend of crafting, shopping, eating and Oh ye a bit of wine, Champers and gin too!! Thank you Angie for the great company, what a pair we make.
I had a good old crafting afternoon yesterday, and came up with four cards, so this is the first one of them to show you.
This image is one of my New Stamps from the show. It's a Sugar Nellie Homegrown "Little Boots", isn't she so sweet, I think she looks like she has just got up, her hair is a bit scruffy!! She is coloured with Pro-Markers and the papers are Memory Box "Mistletoe", and they are lovely Autumn colours. The sentiment is Craftwork Cards, flower is EK success Retro Flower and ribbon and pearls are Hobbyhouse.

Sweet Stampin DT Card for a Teenager~
Hi All,
This is a scheduled post from me....As you read this I will be having my breakfast at the Wellington Hotel (Near Harrogate) and by 8.45 will be arriving at the GNPE (Great North Paper Extravaganza) for a spend!!! Yee Ha!
Today's card for Sweet Stampin is "A card for a Teenager" with an optional sketch. I have used both elements on my card. The challenge was chosen by my talented team mate Carlie M, and we are sponsored by Fairy Dust Crafts.
It was my Son's 19th Birthday on Thursday 8th, so I have decided to give him this card. He is not a "Cutie" boy so wouldn't have appreciated a Magnolia Edwin card!! So I know he will like this funky boy.
I have used some of my new 6x6 papers called Te Printery Collection, they are gorgeous and all in these black/white and sepia colours.
I have used some glossy accents to make the little clock shine. the sentiment is by Craftwork Cards. The image is coloured with Copic's and I have added a few pearls from Hobbyhouse.
Speak to you all after my 3 days away...

I am making two Scrapbooks, making Christmas projects for taking to the Fairs in November and I have managed to make my friend a Configuration Box for her Birthday which is tomorrow. It's the box I thought I would show you today and hopefully I will get round to showing some Scrapbook pages next week.

Sweet Stampin Colour Challenge~
Hi Girls,
Saturday again, so time for another challenge over at Sweet Stampin.
The theme this week is a colour challenge "Strawberry, Cream and Chocolate" and was chosen by ME!
Hope you like it and will go on over and have a look at what my team mates came up with!
This sweet little image I have used is one of our sponsor "Pollycraft" images, isn't she so cute. I just had to add the "Relax" sentiment as she looks like she's about to nod off, just look at those eyes!! Lol
My papers are all from my craft paper leftover box (told you I liked this colour combo, had loads of bits in these colours!)
The image is coloured with Marvey Markers, pearls are Hobbyhouse, and flowers are NS. The corner punch is the gorgeous Pansy MS punch.

I hope this will help some of you~
I am no expert at "Punch around the page" by Martha stewart (as you will know if you have read my last post). BUT this is what I did (mind you it was after quite a bit of wasted card trying to get it right)!
I punched the corner then measured it to see how big it was, then measured the border bit once that was cut then the next corner and then added it all 3 up. (Don't know if that makes sense)! E.G. 1"+2"+1"=4", so cut the card at 4" to see how far out I was.
Yesterday on QVC Alex (Martha's right hand man) said It goes up in 2" incriments, but let me tell you....NO THEY DON'T!! Or at least the one I was using doesn't.
The Pansy punch I used cut at 3 1/4 and then the one on my last card which was 5", so my advice is to try what I said above with old card and when you get it right, save it write the size on it and get it out next time you need to. I have a feeling they are all NOT going to be the same, so you may need to do them for all your others....Good Luck.

Pink and Green should ALWAYS be seen~
Hello Girls,
A big hello to my New and regular followers, you are very welcome, hope you like my craft projects and story's!
Been a bit busy this week (what else is new!).
Our hallway has a gorgeous (Old) Parquet wooden floor which we have had hidden under a carpet for about 15 years. We always knew it was there lurking, asking to be "Set Free", but we kept it covered!!
About three weeks ago (over breakfast) hubby said "When I am off work for my weeks holiday, I want to try to repair the old hall floor"! I was a bit shocked, but very excited.
Well to cut a long story short (like I can do that!) It needed a few replacement tiles (they are about 2"x5" size), wood stain, glue and varnish, and we are on the staining part at the moment.
I have to admit, we are delighted with it. At the end of the day it is a solid wood floor which I am sure would cost us an arm and a leg to replace if we had to.
Onto today's card. I hope you like it.
I was asked by my daughter's friend to make her a cute Birthday card, so this is what I came up with. The image is LOTV, but is a Topper and not a stamped image, so not coloured by me! Makes a change from all that colouring, and I have been so busy, I did not feel under presure when making it. I have used my favorite colour combination, I just love pink and green together.
I have used the LOTV Elephant Topper, some gorgeous Bo-Bunny papers, some gingham ribbon and Hobbyhouse pearls.
After half an hour of swearing and paper throwing, I finally came up with the Martha Stewart "Punch round the Page" Pansy square that is under the image...Grrrr
What a nightmare. For some reason I ALWAYS have a problem getting it spot on....But In the end after persevering I finally did it, and have now kept an example to keep for the future!!!

Who took the "Sun" away?
Well girls, come clean, which one of you took the "Sun" away?
It's turning out to be a bit of a poor August, cannot remember the last time we had a BBQ! Oh hate it when it's like this.
I have a card for you today made with one of my new stamp purchases. I managed to win this last week on Ebay, isn't she cute? She's Dee Dee from the Greet Farm Crew, look at those sweet bunches in her hair!
I have used some First Edition papers, a doily which I have stained with Tim Holtz Old Lace Ink, and some ribbon I bought from a local shop. The little Tag is a Go Create and I am finding these 5 dies very useful, this is the smallest one, but the largest on is big enough to stamp an image onto. I have finished off with a Hobbyhouse button and some Twine.

Have a Red & White Christmas~
Hello Girls,
Well my week Teaching Scrapbooking is well and truly behind me now!
I can report that it was a great success.
The local Press came into the School and took some lovely photo's of the children's work, that same day they appeared in the Evening Newspaper.
The books were fantastic.
The children that Angie and I worked with were so good. Not only were they very enthusiastic, but they were very well mannered and and were a pleasure to teach.
The first couple of days were quite taxing, the children (aged 7-13) took some time to grasp the concept, but trust me by the Wednesday, they knew exactly what was expected of them and were taking to it like a duck to water!
Each day we made 4 Layouts, and one small craft project to take home.
First day we made a door hanger, then a laminated place mat, next a small basket containing chocolates and a Tile coloured with porcelain markers, the Thursday we made about 6 small Birthday cards and the last day a decorated "Lunch bag".
I have been asked to run a small class workshop near Christmas, so they were obviously happy with my work.
I really enjoyed it, however It is a long time since I have worked full time for a whole week, so I cannot believe how tired I am!!
Onto my card for today.
I did not make this card this week, I made it last week but kept it until today.
It's a Leanne Ellis image, and has always been one of my favorites. I used a friends stamp a few weeks ago, but decided to buy my own once I knew I would love to use her!
I have used some of my new Christmas papers from Dovecraft, and a sheet of red mirri board. I did not want to colour all the image in so have just used a red pro-marker for her hair and flower and covered her dress with stickles. the lovely border is a Marrianne die.

No card, just an update on my teaching!!
Hello Girls,
Thank you very much to all of you who wished me well Teaching this week...I am pleased to report all is going well. Brilliant in fact.
Thanks to my fabulous "WingMan" Angie, who is a complete star, we are having such a great time and the children (all 7 of them) seem to be enjoying the class too.
We've managed to complete 8 Layouts over the last two days (that's 4 a day, 2 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon + a small project to take home each day too. Yesterday's was a Door Hanger and today was a laminated placemat.
Appart from the fact that Angie and I now know exactly what a Scrum Half feels like during and after a game, and I am so tired I had my eye's closed while I was standing up b4! All is well!
LOL

Isla and her hat~
Hello Girls,
Getting very excited now, my Scrapbook Teaching is tomorrow and Angie and I are so looking forward to it!
Mind you I am a little apprehensive too.....I have never done anything like this before, although It is something I am very passionate about. I love Scrapbooking, (I have made around 60 books so far,) and hope that the children I am teaching Monday to Friday, will get enjoyment out of it too.
For today's card I have used this lovely "Isla" Sugar Nellie stamp, Bo Bunny double sided papers, a couple of Marianne Swirls and flowers from my stash.
I wanted to enter the challenge at Crazy 4 Challenges, they asked for a Monochromatic image, I decided that I would stamp the image on this linen effect cardstock and leave it just like that, no colour at all. Not sure it's exactly what I was trying to accomplish, but it's done now, and I do like the papers and the sketch.
