What A Hairdoo~

Hiya All~

What a dreadful day here, weather wise. I got all showered and hair done to go out shopping with my mum, shouldn't have bothered...I got soaked through.

I have not managed to have a play at all today until now, and tomorrow is work and then I am perming my Nana's hair in the afternoon. (I love doing her hair, she is 94 years old (or young!) and I cut her hair every 6 weeks and perm it every 12, so tomorrow is perming day). I might get chance to craft later in the day, but not until the evening.

Tonight I have joined in a couple of challenges that ask for "Wings".
This digi image was one of the four I won, I couldn't wait to use her, she is so cute isn't she?

The two papers I have used are one double sided My Mind's Eye Alphabet Soup. I like the small orange flower pattern side and the musical notes are on the reverse. I have used my Nestie for the image and a NS flower punch. She is coloured with Pro-Markers. I have not embossed the background myself, this co-ordinates cardstock is already embossed I used the reverse of it for my matting as it's a slightly darker shade, so complements the colours well.

Entering into:

A Spoonfull of Sugar--Colour Combo
Delightful Sketchers--Wings
Flutterby Wednesday--Wings
I Love Pro-Markers--Anything Goes
Ladybug Crafts--Card 4 a child
One Stitch at a Time--Digi
Stamp Something--Use a digi

Oooooh love this image! Did you perm her hair too!!! This is such a lovely card and the colours are gorgeous!
Hope you aren't getting blown away up there.....I don't know why I bothered brushing my hair this morning, by the time I had finished the school run I resembled Briam May on a bad day!

Gosh it's been windy here all day too, but it's starting to ease off now, so fingers crossed it will be a lot calmer tomorrow!!

Have fun perming your nana's hair tomorrow and hopefully you get some crafting done too,

Hi Debbie, Prisma's are pencils. You can blend them with a blending stump and Odorless mineral spirit or even baby oil. I have used the same technique with normal watercolour pencils too with good effect (but I do love me Prisma's!) I had to crack up when I imagined Mathew being "thrown" off the train! Bet your heart was in your mouth! x
