Christmas in July!!
Hi All~
Well I have watched another upset in the "F" today, the apparently amazing Brazillians are out of the World Cup Beaten by the Fabulous Dutch, (come on you Orange!!)
And now I have to watch Murray and Nadal. (Again I am sorry to offend but I LOVE Raffa, so am not supporting Murray). I am not a bit patriotic am I? Sorry!
Back to business...
This is the second Christmas card I have made in the last two weeks...what's got into me? Normally I am making them the week before I want to send them! (Well tell a lie, I am not quite that bad, but you know what I mean).
There are a couple of blogs asking for Christmas Cards, and it's a great idea to start early, just make them and stick them in a box for later!
I have chosen to do this lovely Tilda image, and I chose the Green and purple for a challenge over at Craft Challenge, however I am not 100% happy with this colour combo...I don't usually worry about my cards not being the traditional red and green, but I am not quite sure about the purple.
I have used some Christmas MME papers and a few other bits and bobs from my stash...
I have also used my MS punch as a border and used a couple of snowflake brads to hold it in position. The holly is stamped and the circles ar cut from other MME Christmas paper. I have used some raindrop type gems and a flower and bead orniment. The flower was white, but I coloured it with a poppy red pro-marker.
I do have another Christmas Tilda, it's the one where she is wearing a sort of duffle coat, really cute, I did use her alot last Christmas, and I will be using her again, but this image with Tilda facing away and putting the orniment onto the tree is very sweet indeed, I can see me using her alot aswell.
