Chocolate's and Cream!
What an awful day here today. I had planned to visit the "Retreat" today (Allotment) but it has rained here all day, so a change of plan...Ironing, Tennis and Craft, in that order!
I have been waiting patiently for the new Tilda Challenge Blog and here it is....
Their first challenge is "Chocolate". Yummy I thought, but alass they were not giving "chocolate" away, Oh No, that was what they want to see on your card!!!
Once that was sorted, I could get on with making this card with my brand new Tilda stamp. I don't know what she is called or if she is an old stamp, but I won her on Ebay and was delighted to pay a small £5.20 for her (bargain)
I decided to do paper piecing on her dress and hairband as I love doing this and I found a small piece of this lemon/cream dotty paper, and it matched the other papers perfectly. The mat has been "punch round the corner" with my MS flower punch, this is the first time I have tried this, so I was quite pleased with the outcome.
This gorgeous flower is a Prima flower, I have had them ages and just never seem to have the right colour paper for them, I used a copper colour stickles on it's petals.
I have loads of these little quotes and use them all the time in Scrapbooking, this one says "Record Only The Sunny Hours". Tilda is coloured with Copics, which I have tried to keep very neutral.
This lovely sketch is courtesy of cupcake Craft Challenge.
