Dies and Punches..

Hi girls.

Well as this card goes live (scheduled)...I will be flying through the air on the way to Benidorm with Mum and Sister. We last went in May, so we are soooo looking forward to going back.
We are meeting our friends at La Nucia (about 6 miles from the center of Benidorm) and other friends are already their and waiting for us.

So.... This is my card for the Challenge this week of "Use Dies and Punches" at Sweet Stampin', and our sponsors this week are "Live and Love Crafts".
Please don't forget we are a stamping challenge so some stamping somewhere (look at my card this week, it has a topper and dies and the only stamping is the sentiment, but that's acceptable!)

I have used both dies and punches on this card. I usually use these anyway, so this challenge is perfect for me.

The image is a LOTV topper and the papers are Dovecraft. The little bunting which i use all the time is a Memory Box die. The punched border is a MS punch. I have added some Stardust Stickles and a couple of Hobby House pearls. The sentiment is a Hero Art stamp.

That's an Old Stamp!!

Hello Ladies

Saturday in October means Challenge Time @ Sweet Stampin'....It's an easy one this week too, as it's "Antiques Roadshow" Which basically means "Use an old stamp".
Please remember we are a stamping challenge so you must stamp somewhere, ta.

I have chosen one of my little Easels for this week, oh I love making these.
I start by stamping a script stamp on the actual easel frame, then I work on the little topper for the frame.
I used some Pion Papers cut up and a few cut aparts from Graphic 45 papers. I have also used a large enamel heart button. The "Antiques roadshow old stamp" bit is one of my all time favorite Sentiment Stamps which I have had since I first began crafting (what feels like a hundred years ago!)
This "Live in the Moment" Stamp (by Hero Arts) has been used by me on so many projects It is always a "go to" for little projects like this..

Sweet Stampin' "Wheels" Challenge

Hello Girlies
I have scheduled this post as I am off "Spending" today...I will be at Port Sunlight "Happy Stamper" show, ooooo love it their. Come say hi if you are around.

Gosh, doesn't time fly, it's October already and only (28 days off my next holls to Benidorm with Mum and Sister) Yipeeeeee

So it's Saturday again, so another Sweet Stampin's Challenge for you and it's "Wheels" this week...
Our Sponsors are "US" so a goodie bag is up for grabs!
Please remember we are a STAMPING challenge, so you must stamp somewhere to be in the draw.

I am not very keen on the card I came up with, but I was having a play, so at the end of the day, it's all good fun.
The lovely stamps are freebies off a magazine I bought ages ago and the mask is by Clarity. I used a couple of Tim inks as the background. Wanted to keep it C&S and just play about with inks really.

I am still here.....just sooooo busy!!

Hello Ladies

No excuses for not being around, just time is catching up on me, never seem to have time lately for anything. Mind you the Rugby World Cup is on now, so I can be found watching that at the mo!

Anyway. I have been doing loads of crafting as always, but just not had time to blog any of it! Such a shame as at one time I blogged almost every day! Sure I will get more time soon, and I do love blogland, so will always be here and look at what all you talented ladies are up too.

I have managed to take a couple of photo's of the "C" Wallets I have made to sell at my coming fairs.
I am actually selling on Sunday this week, but it's probably a tad early to bring out the "C" stuff....or is it??

Both these wallets are made using an A4 sheet of white card, I fold them in half and chop about 2" off the edge so they fit in an A5 envelope. I fold up about 2" on the bottom inside the wallet to create a pocket, I cut this to form two pockets, and round the edges for the money/voucher to go. The other side I leave blank and usually stamp a "C" saying and this is where the name goes (should have taken a photo of inside but forgot!!)
I then wrap a ribbon round and leave enough to tie, cover in papers and add embellishments. Both these toppers are Hobby House, and the sentiments are a lovely set by LOTV.
In all I have made 10 of these (but usually make around 40 in all) they are great for giving someone a voucher or money. Make them using a Birthday Image too.

Thanks for looking ladies and thank you for all the lovely comment. X

Embossing Time!

Hi Ladies
Sorry I have not been around much, I wish there were more hours in the day.
Mind you sorting all my Daughter's Wedding Stationary is taking up such a lot of my time, I have to squash everything else in! (It's a year off yet!)

So Saturday again is Challenge Time at "Sweet Stampin".
This week it's the brilliant "Emboss it"! Who doesn't like a bit of Embossing? I do...
Please remember ladies that we are a "Stamping" challenge, so a spot of stamping somewhere on your project is a must in order to be entered for the prize!
Our Sponsors this week are "Flat Friends"...

I have chosen to make a "C" Card to add to my Slow growing stash!!
This die and Stamp are freebies on the cover of this months Papercraft essentials magazine.
The Snowflake folder on the inside is by Cuttlebug and is so crisp and lovely, I know it is not easy to see, so sorry about that. Paper circle is Graphic 45.
Get yourself in with a chance of winning over at Sweet Stampin'. X

Let's get Musical!

Hi There

Let's get Musical....that's the theme this week at "Sweet Stampin'".
(don't forget we are a stamping challenge, so some stamping somewhere please guys!)
So...You could do, Musical instruments, papers, singing anything "Musical"...

So onto what I did. I made one of my large MDF boxes and added a ribbon of musical note paper. Hope you like it.

Now then what I have used....This could take sometime!!
The Sentiment is by Sam Poole, little bird is an mdf shape, and I have coloured it black. There's a Spellbinders cartouche and a Heartfelt Creations swirl die cut. The flowers are stamped onto paper and are from a SU set (just love these and have the punch to use to cut them out too, easy....)
I have finished off with leaves by Memory Box, some enamel dots and the paper covering the box i think is either Prima or Fancy Pants.

Spots or Stripes or both at Sweet Stampin'.

Hello Ladies

Well another Saturday so another challenge at Sweet Stampin'. This week the theme is Spots/Stripes or both. Our sponsors this week are "All dressed up".

I have used a set of Teddy Bear stamps by LOTV, just love these. I have two different sets of these, and mix and match them, so this is one set (of three + one stamp from the other set!)
The papers are all from my bit box. The little bunting die is from Memory Box. The images are coloured with Pro-Markers.

Anything but a Birthday at Sweet Stampin'.

Hello Ladies

Saturday again (wow they come round quick).

At Sweet Stampin' this week our theme is "Anything BUT a Birthday". Our Sponsors this week are US, so a Sweet Stampin' goodie bag is up for grabs.
This fell well for me as my friends Niece's Baby has just been Christened a few weeks ago, and this is the card I made for her.
I adore this little Giraffe stamp from Crafters Companion, perfect for a baby card I think.

I have coloured the image with Pro-Markers. The papers are LOTV and the Sentiment is pc generated.

The Belsfield Hotel Craft Fair...

Hi ladies

Thought I would share a photo with you. This was taken last weekend at the Belsfield Hotel in Bowness on Windermere about 40 minutes away from where I live in the Lake District.

The Belsfield Hotel is one of only two Laura Ashley Hotels in te Country, and it is stunning.
I was asked to bring my Craft Products to one of their Events and what a fabulous day I had.

My lovely Daughter Eve joined me and together we had a very lucrative day with over 300 people browsing in the lovely sunshine.
So now it's full on, making more goodies for the next show which is not that far off!!
First I am running my Summer School this week with 12, 7-13 year olds. Looking forward to it, but know a full weeks work is gunna play havoc with my Arthritis.....Oh well at least I get a nice time to play and I get paid to boot!
I do also have my much appreciated helper (my Wingman Angie)....couldn't manage without her, she's a star. X

Sweet Stampin'...."Boys and their Toys".

Hi Ladies

Well a "Sweet" challenge is here for you today at Sweet Stampin'.
"Boys and their Toys"....So go on have a go, stamping required somewhere remember.
Our Sponsors this week are Funky Kits.

This is what I decided to make for this challenge. It has been a while since I have made one of my little gift Bags and I knew I had this gorgeous Mo Manning boy image so decided to use it for this weeks theme. I have stamped the lovely LOTV Sentiment too. This cardstock is the duo card (not sure who makes it). I like this for these bags as it's half checks and half dots so I just pop a ribbon across the join.
The two embellishment corner and tab are die's from Wiff of Joy, and the stars are a Nestie shape.

Christmas in July.....Well at Sweet Stampin' anyway.

Hi Girls

Saturday is Challenge time at Sweet Stampin', and I am sorry but it's the dreaded "C"....
(Christmas, whisper!!)
I love Christmas, how could I not, it's my Birthday Christmas Day.....BUT NOT in July!!!
Not my idea, so I am doing as I am told and have made a couple of "C" tags, hope you like them.
Our Sponsors this week are Wild Orchid,so go on be a rebel and start Christmas early...(oops, said the word now!)

I have used a stamp I bought a few weeks ago from the Dreamie's" girls, I was sure these would make nice tags, and I was very pleased with them and think they will look lovely on a pressy.
They can obviously be used on the front of a card too, but as I make lots of Tags to sell on my stall at "C", then I am sure these too will go down well.

Inky Play Time.

Hi people, Hope you are all well this Sunny warm day!

I have been having yet another play, (and watching the Tennis which has been brilliant!)
I love messy play, and Tim inks are just the thing to use.
I have had a bad ankle since last Sunday (I am due some Physio next Tuesday) so today I went swimming as I have had a week off the Gym and Zumba. Will try the Gym tomorrow, but will have to take it easy I think.
It's BBQ time tomorrow, late afternoon, at our friends house and I am really looking forward to a few bevvy's!

So...back to the Tag I have made....
I have used a Kraft Card tag, and used a few Tim inks on the background. The lovely flower is a stamp from a free set off a magazine. Not sure which magazine, but It is one I bought at the Bolton Craft Fair, it cost half the price too so what a bargain.
I have coloured the flower with my new pens, Spectrum Aqua Markers and I have watercoloured with them and then added some glitter to the middle. I have stamped this gorgeous Sentiment stamp, I just love this, one of my all time favorite songs by the Carpenters...Isn't it sweet.
On the background I have used several different masks to give some texture. It has turned out a tad darker than I wanted, but I think the Kraft coloured tag didn't help.

I am entering into the following Challenges:

Crafty Catz==Anything Goes

Wow...Thunder and Rain while I am crafting!

Hi Ladies

My friends celebrate their 30th wedding Anniversary on Saturday, hopefully if the weather stays warm (don't hold ya breath!) we will be having a bbq and a few drinkies at their house.

I have bought them a huge floor vase full of flowers and also made them a Box Frame Plaque, made by Anna Marie Designs. It's that Plaque + the card I made them that I thought I would share with you.

For the frame I had to assemble it first, gesso and paint it, then cover it in paper (not sure what make this paper/card is but I just love it. In the middle there is an MDF heart which I have stamped on using an Indigo Blu stamp. The flowers and Leaves are all from my stash and the lovely string of pearls are from Hobby House. I hope they like it, I loved making it and will be buying more of these and the other shapes Anna Marie has the next time I am at a craft show.

For this card I have used the gorgeous wreath stamp by Chloe Stamps. I have used this a few times and stamping, embossing and cutting out to layer up is what I usually do with it, lends itself to this perfectly. I have used some bling silver sticky paper under the wreath and sentiment and then added a few silver gems. The sentiment I pc generated.

Inky Playtime...

Hi Ladies

I have had quite a play in my Craft Room this week, not only because I have had a few commissions to attend to but because I have sprained my ankle yet again. I did visit the doctor this morning and he has suggested physio, what an inconvenience it is, no Zumba, no gym, no driving, no nothing....accept good old crafting, that is easy when you can sit down half the day!!

So I have a few things to show you, but I will put stuff on again this week, I will show you a card I made for the Stampotique Challenge first so here it is:

I have used a lovely "Clarity" mask called "Circle's box frame"and used Tim Holtz distress inks through it in Mowed Lawn and Dusty Concord. I sprinkled with water after to take some ink off in places. This lovely lady stamp with wings and the number stamps are by Paper Artsy and are called "One Penny Plate".

Red Hot Summer.....Yes Please!

Hi Guys

This is the card I post a couple of weeks ago by mistake!
So here it is again.....sorry for the deja vu!!

So as it's a Saturday, it's time for a lovely challenge over at Sweet Stampin'.
"Red Hot Summer" is the theme (we all like a bit of that!) and our Sponsor this week are us, so a SS goodie bag is on offer.
Please remember we are a Stamping Challenge, so a touch of stamping somewhere please.

I hope you like this lovely image as much as I do. Perfect for Summer Time.
It is one of my favorite stamping company's, Stampin' Bella. I have about 8 of their stamps and love them all, this is one of my new ones.
The papers are  by Heartfelt Creations, the Sentiment came with the stamp and the colouring is done with copic pens. I added a little "Summer" sticker in the corner to finish off.

Ooooo I love a Spend!!

Hi again Girls

Ooooo I had a lovely box delivered by my postwoman today....
A lovely new Janome Sewing Machine.
Isn't it pretty!! Well not pretty, but you know what I mean....Isn't is great?
I have been doing quite a bit of sewing lately, and have been using sewing on my Scrapbook pages for ages, love the stitched effects you can get on paper.

Sewing with material is something I have always done (the first time I ran a business in the 80's was by sewing, making Soft Furnishings). So I have been busy making alsorts of things and will try them out for selling on my Craft Stall along with my cards and mdf! My next sale is early July, so will let you now if I did ok!

So today I have had a great play with my new toy. Made a few bits n' bobs and generally trying out the new stitches, and the needle threader (yes), and the stop start button, which I love.

If you see this post Ms Sue Dunn, I will be paying you yet another visit as I need more iron on stiffener!!  ha ha. (That's my lovely friend on our Market Haberdashery stall, she's a love and so is Carol her Sister!) X

Here are a couple of photo's for you to see. Not very exciting I know but sorry, needed to show someone!!

My lovely Mum and Sister.

Hi girls

Something a bit different today to show you. It's been a few months since I had a play at Scrapbooking. It has always been my first love and in a months time I will be teaching children to Scrapbook, so it's a nice re-fresher.

The photo was taken just last month in Benidorm, on the balcony of our Hotel, and it's my lovely Mum and Sister. I hope you will all agree my Mum looks amazing....she had her 76th Birthday last week, she is such a trendy and young at heart woman who I love very much. When us three go on holiday together we have such a great time and big fun, we have booked our next trip and will be going back to Benidorm on 31st October.....Yipeeeeee.

I have used various papers, some are Heartfelt Creations and others are MME. I have used some stickers, washi tape a paper ribbon and some Stampin' Up stamps in a Grunge theme to add the splodges, love this set, it's still available in the latest calalogue and is called Gorgeous Grunge.

Sorry the photo is not as clear as it should be, my camera is being very naughty even though it is fairly new, or it might be me! I am not a very good photographer!!

I would like to enter this page into the following challenges:

Sweet Stampin' Challenge Time.

Hi Ladies

As it's Saturday, there's another Challenge awaiting you at Sweet Stampin' this week and it's a nice easy challenge (well I think so anyway).
Black & White with a POP of one other colour.....told you it was nice!
We are a Stamping Challenge, so please don't forget to stamp somewhere on your project, ta.
Our Sponsors this week are US SS Goodie bag.

So I have decided to use one of my Brand New Stamps I bought at the Port Sunlight Happy Stampers Show in May. The Stamp is by Impression Obsession and I think it's gorgeous, I love how simple it is to cut out, it is perfect for Decoupaging like I have done with one of the flower heads.

I stamped the image straight onto a card blank, then stamped again on cardstock and cut out the flower. I coloured the flower with Tim Holtz "Red" marker and added stickles to all the flower middles. I finished the card with a fine liner pen and made a double line round the edge of the card and the sentiment. The sweet little sentiment stamp, is one I have had for a long time, and is made by Penny Black.
Simple, easy and fun to do.....Go on get yourself over and have a go.

Wedding Acceptances

Hi Girls

Well not too bad weather wise today.....Hope it stays nice for a few days!

I am in the middle of a whole house re-furb at the mo....so it's two rooms down and quite a few to go.

This week I have just moved my Craftroom, I used to use my dining room, but now it's upstairs in my Son's old bedroom. It looks great, will show some photo's soon.
It was a bit of a shock moving it (don't think you know how much stuff you have 'till you come to do it)! omg, hubby got to see what I had too!!!   That didn;t go down too well...
The room is slightly smaller too, so fitting it all in was a bit of a jigsaw at times. I also HAD to do a touch of re-cycling and throwing out.

Next room is our bedroom, the big one! It is a long time since we decorated in their. Taking it right back to the brick too, so will be a longish job.

Anyway onto today's make. I have some fairs coming up so have been crafting like mad with mdf, but had to make some cards for my Daughter's workfriends, so here are a couple of them.

Sorry for the picture quality, these are two of four Wedding Acceptances I made, two of each colour.
The little heart stamp is one of my Indigo Blu mini stamps (I have this is the large stamp too), the banner was a free stamp from a magazine, I stamped this over the pc generated Acceptance wording.

Challenge Time at Sweet Stampin'.

Hi Girls

Before I tell you about Challenge Time at Sweet Stampin', I have some exciting news to tell you.
I am off on Holiday (yet again) with Mum and my Sister Mandy (I don't know......did not go on Holiday for 7 years, now I seem to be going every 8-12 weeks.....lol)
This time I am off to Benidorm (again!), I go the day after tomorrow, so tell you all about it when I get back.

So this weeks Challenge is C&S (Clean and Simple). Sponsors this week are "Us" so a Sweet Stampin' Goodie Bag awaits you. Don't forget to add some Stamping to your projects please.

I have another of my Card-io type stamped cards for this weeks challenge, I am sure they can be classed as C&S, as they are stamped straight onto the cards with no matting and layering. Hope you like it.

This card is not actually made using a Card-io set of stamps, but is done in a similar style, the stamps used are by Lavinia Stamps (I just used one colour ink),did a touch of secondary stamping.
In the set you get a branch and three different flowers, the little butterfly is from another of my
card-io sets. The Sentiment Stamp is by Woodware, I finished off by doodling around the edge with a fine liner and added a few Hobby House pearls for the flower middles.......Simple, but I think sweet!

Vintage Baby Boy~

Hi Girls

Hope I find you all well.
I hope the weather is nice where you are (mind you it's gunna be better where I am going on Monday.....Spain for a week with Mum and Sister Mandy. It has come round so quick, one minute it's January next it's May!!

I have been busy lately. Now my Children have both moved into their own homes, I have tons of decorating to do! So one room down and another started, so this weekend is Painting walls (like last weekend), I will be ready for that break next week!!

So I have a quick card to show you today. My Daughter asked for a card for her work friend that was a bit vintage and old worldy, think this fits the bill ok.

Not sure what make these papers are, bought them a few months ago. One side has this hexigon pattern and the other has these vintage toppers on, lovely little old cycle, perfect for a quick card. The sentiment is pc generated. I have used some leftover spotty paper for the border and that edge is an X cut punch. You cannot really tell but it's a nice sage green colour so I have teamed it up with a brown matting layer.

Saturday is Sweet Stampin' Time..

Hi Girls

Another Saturday means another challenge at Sweet Stampin'.

This week our theme is "Inspired by a book or Film" and our Sponsors this week are "us" so a lovely craft goodie bag awaits you!
Go on have a go....don't forget we are a Stamping challenge, so a touch of stamping somewhere please, ta.

I have another Card-io card for this week, I made a few of these a few weeks ago, I love the crisp clean look they give. I decided to go with both the "Book & Film" theme, with The Secret Garden!
Not very imaginative, but it's very flowery so is garden like!!

I have used several stamps from different sets, some Hobbyhouse Pearls and a touch of Stickles.
Very Simple, but fun to make.

A lovely Crafty Day....

Hi Girls

A couple of days ago on Create and Craft, the lady from Card-io Wendy was on, I recorded the show, so that I could have a go at making some cards using one of the Card-io sets I have and have hardly used.
I ended up making quite a few cards (using a few other "Tiny" stamps I had too.) It did take me a few goes to get the right shapes I wanted, and I masked off areas on some cards and that was a bit tricky (I am such a messy crafter, get ink all over, so white space is usually a no no!)
In the end this is what I came up with. Not as neat as the talented Wendy's cards, but I really had great fun. I am hoping to buy a couple more sets in a couple of weeks at Port Sunlight Stamp Show.

All the stamps used are a mix from different sets, so won't list them (couldn't anyway!), There are also two Card-io Sets and a trailing Lavinia Stamp. The little silhouette bird stamps are from a set by Craftwork Cards. All the inks are Memento/brilliance Cat's Eye's, I find these easy to use with little stamps as they are small and have the pointed end. The Sentiment stamps are woodware.

Sweet Stampin' Challenge... Anything but a Card~

Hi Girls~

The Challenge over at Sweet Stampin' this week is to make "Anything BUT a Card".

Don't forget we are a Stamping Challenge, so a touch of Stamping is required on your project somewhere please.... But Good Luck and have Fun!
Sponsored by The Ribbon Girl.

I have made one of my altered Note Books for this one. I love making these and they sell really well at my Fairs too, and seeing I have a local Fair tomorrow, this one will be in my box of goodies.

For this one I have used some papers from my stash, paper flowers, pearls and an Inkidinki doodles Letter Stamp. The punched edge is by Martha Stewart.
I love this Nestie Shape and use it quite a lot, it's one of those that you can use either way round too so very versatile.

Paper Piecing at Sweet Stampin'..

Hello Girls~

Another great Challenge awaits you at Sweet Stampin' this week, one of my favorites...Paper Piecing.
Our Sponsors this week are Live and Love Crafts.

I love this challenge, nothing nicer than finding bits of paper to PP.
I have chosen this Julie Nutting Doll for my card, I have PP her dress. I do this quite often and never tire of it. I have about four of these dolls, but this one is one that I usually go to and is a favorite!
I used some text paper on the base of the card, then stamped some random flowers, sentiments and texture stamps over the top. The doll was stamped on tinted cardstock, I coloured hre hair with copics.
All finished off with a few Hobby House Pearls.

Hello Folks

Hi There Folks

I am back from a City Break with my lovely Hubby. We have just had four days in Amsterdam.
We've been their before, 6 years ago and have always wanted to re-visit. So for our 30th Wedding Anniversary back in January, I decided to book us this time away. We waited 'till now as the weather is quite bad in Jan/Feb, (even worse than our weather) so end of March it was.
It was even better than our first visit, we had such a great time.
The holiday did not get off to the best start after the Germany Plane Crash....If you know me, you will know I am a dreadful wuss when it comes to doing what only a bird should do!
But what could I do, it was the day before I flew, so literally no turning back!
I must admit I was surprisingly better than I thought, Hubby was even impressed at how good I was!

So before I show you the cards I have made today I thought I would share a couple of holiday photo's with you (not too boring I hope!)
I am a big Museum lover, so the RijksMuseum was a place I was so looking forward to seeing again. The "Night Watch" a huge Rembrandt painting, (a picture is below) did not disappoint, it's now been moved into it's own room with a beautiful atrium,  it was just wonderful.

Our "Rubbish" Selfie!!

So onto today's cards.
These are for a friend of my Daughter's at work. I have used the Mask and Stamp in a shoe shape from Clarity (I have the exact same configuration only in a dress on a hanger too, just so sweet).
It's a nice card to make as I ink through the mask, then stamp the shoe over the top, I add some shading at the base of shoe and heel and hey presto, done...easy peasy!
The papers are all from my leftover box, and the sentiments are pc generated. The little butterflies are made using a MS punch, I have added some jewels and enamel dots too. The big flower is from Hobby House and the little bunting is by Memory Box Die (which gets alot of use!)

Sentiment as a Focal Point at Sweet Stampin'.

Hi Girls~

Over at Sweet Stampin' today there's a new Challenge, this week it's "Use a Sentiment as the Focus".
The prize this week will be a goodie bag from Sweet Stampin'.
Don't forget we are a "Stamping Challenge", so some form of Stamping is required, good luck.

On today's card I have used some papers from LOTV, the plain and the rose papers.
The border punch is a Martha Stewart, pearls are Hobby House, the flowers are from my stash. I love this little Memory Box Bunting Die and use it quite alot. The gorgeous Sentiment Stamp is from Clarity and it's one of my favorite things to write on anything I am sending my lovely Mum. The Panel I stamped on is cut from a sheet by Heartfelt Creations.

"Green", for St Patrick's Day..

Hello Ladies
Hope I find you all fit and well.

The challenge at Sweet Stampin' this week is timed to fit with St Patricks Day, so "Green" is the colour of today's challenge.
That suits me as Green is my favorite colour. Our sponsors this week are Flat Friends and 4 Digi Stamps are up for grabs...go on, have a go!

I have made a little note book and will be giving this away to a friend who's Daughter has just moved into a New House.
I have used some Prima 6x6 Papers (not sure what the name is tho'). A Kanban Flower Panel, some Hobby House Pearls, and a Sentiment Stamp from Paula Pascal.

"Spring has Sprung"~

Hi Girls~
As you are reading this post I am on a plane and heading off to Benidorm with Mum and Sister for a three day Birthday bash for Mandy (Sister), so let you in on all the gossip when I get home!

As it's Saturday another challenge awaits you at Sweet Stampin'. This week it's "Spring Flowers"..I hope this means that Spring is on it's way....Yipee!
Our Sponsors this week are "Petal Lu".

I hope you like the card I have made for this week's challenge, it is for my Sister's Birthday today. I have used a Printed Panel with a flower print on. This image is one I picked up last year and it's made by Kanban. I don't normally like many Kanban toppers (a bit blingy for me!) but i actually like these flower toppers and there's a space to add a Sentiment (which is what I have done). The added Happy Days is something I wouldn't have put on a card, but it's my Sister's favorite saying and tattoo, so added it at the last minute.
There are four images of these flowers to a sheet and some of the others would work perfectly as a sympathy card, and unfortunately we all need to make these at some time!

I have used some leftover papers from my stash box, I added a few enamel dots, a filigree metal butterfly and some sheer ribbon. The punched border shape is an X cut punch. The flower is sparkled up a bit with some Stickles.

Scrap Book Page.

Hello Ladies
Hope you are all well this Bright and Sunny Day (well for me anyway!)

I have a Scrapbook Page to show you today.
I am finally getting round to Scrapping the pictures from a couple of my Benidorm Holidays last year.
This photo is from exactly a year ago, 22nd of February 2014 to be precise.
I have managed to make three pages this week, and the other's are all of the Benidorm June 2014 Holls.

I have chosen to follow the sketch over on the "Stuck!" Challenge, it's a great sketch so thank you girls.
I have used three different sheets of Kaisercraft Papers, the background green sheet with the butterflies on is one of my favorites and I have several sheets of it. I stamped all over with distress ink splodges from a set by Stampin' Up called Gorgeous Grunge (love this set).

Arrow Dies are Little B
Crochet Flower is Little Birdie
I have also used some hessian, and paint circles.

Right, that's me off to the Gym........DebbieX

Sweet Stampin' "Add a Heart"~

Hi Ladies

Can you believe it's February already (something tells me that this year is gunna Zoom by just like last year).
I have a Holiday to Amsterdam in 6 weeks, can't wait (apart from the flying part!). Hubby and I have not been away for ages, so really looking forward to it.
Then before I know it, I will be popping off to Benidorm again with Mum and Sister in June, and with a bit of luck we might have enough money to do another trip in November!!! Wishful thinking, but we managed it last year, so lets see!

So.......Onto the Challenge this week at Sweet Stampin'......"Add a Heart" (perfect challenge if you have a Valentines card to make!)
Our Sponsors this week are Quixotic Paperie.

I have chosen to use this "Penny Black" stamp. In the past I have used it a lot to make Valentine's/Anniversary cards, love the cute ducks, the stamp is called Loving and Hugging.
I have also used the "Free" Heart stamp off the cover of February's Craft Stamper Magazine, a great stamp, perfect for this weeks challenge.
I coloured the image with Copic's and used my Tonic die's for the matting. I have added a small Hobby House Heart to the corner and a touch of mock stitching.

Been Busy Playing!!

Hi Ladies~

Hope you are all doing well.
Gosh January is flying by, it will be February before we know it!

My Kids (well not kids as they are 24 and 22!!) but kids anyway, have gone Skiing, so it's all quiet on the Western Front here!! Ha ha...
Mind you that will be normal soon when Matthew moves into his first new home.
My Daughter moved out in October last year, (she is organizing her Wedding at the mo for 2016), and now Matthew is just waiting for his keys and then he will go too!   Boo Hoo.
I know they have to leave and do their own thing, but I know I will miss Matthew as much as I miss Eve. Good thing is......They are both less than a mile from me, so easy to see them, and no doubt he will do what she does and ring me to ask if its ok to come for tea!!

So sorry for the Waffle.....I wanted to show you what I have been doing all last and this week.

FRONT:

BACK:

I bought this "Tim Ink" storage Unit back in October last year, and I have waited till now to assemble it as I wanted to spend time having a lovely play with it. It was really easy to put together, I then primed it with Gesso, painted it green then covered all the draw bottoms with pretty papers.
I had a beautiful long calender I won from Katy, and It was so lovely I wasn't going to throw it away, but did wonder what I was going to do with it.....well they fit on the sides and back of this storage unit perfectly. The calender was a very unusual "long" shape so I was delighted when the individual pages fit this unit, I overlapped them slightly to get as many on as I could.

I am really pleased I have been able to use these and I am delighted at how it's turned out. Oh and it is great for my Timmy Inks! I must admit I have not got as many inks as the storage takes, but i did squeeze some "oversize" other makes of ink pads in too, it looks a bit miss-mashed but I am happy with it.

Sweet Stampin' "Cute and Cuddly".

Hi Girls~
This week at Sweet Stampin' we have a great Challenge for you...."Cute & Cuddly", Easy right?
Our Sponsors this week are Craft Mojo, so why not head on over and have a go!

I hope you like my card for our Challenge this week.
I honestly can't think of anything more "Cute & Cuddly" than a Teddy Image by LOTV, and in this case Four teddies! so very cute. (well I think so anyway!)

I wanted to keep it quite C&S, so stamped the teddy bears and cut them out with  a Tonic scalloped circle die. The four rounded corner square's in the Anna Marie Dotty cardstock are cut with a Heartfelt Creations die, these are really good and were bought for Scrapbooking, but they are still perfect for cardmaking. I have coloured the images with Copic's, and added a few Hobby House Pearls in lilac. The Sentiment is also from a LOTV set.

Sweet Stampin' "Girly but NO pink~

Hello Ladies

Welcome to the First Challenge for 2015 (for me anyway) at Sweet Stampin'.
This week it's "Girly, but NO Pink".....So nice and easy.
Our Sponsors this week are "All Dressed up". Good Luck.
Don't forget we are a Stamping Challenge, so some stamping somewhere on the project please.

I have taken today's photo on my New Camera (Lovely Hubby bought me for my Birthday,) not sure it will make a photographer of me, but my photo's cannot be as bad as the ones I used to take, can they? Saying that....this is a bit shadowy and not exactly right! Oh well..

I have the most amazing Standard Daylight Lamp for my Craft Room, (another fantastic pressy off Hubby, he does spoil me rotten!) It's fantastic, makes taking pictures and making cards at night so much better, my eyesight is getting worse and this helps alot.

For my card I have used a Topper I bought a while ago, not sure exactly who makes it, but it could be a Hobby House sheet, whoever made it, I think it's gorgeous.
I added some stickles to the cycle umbrella, and a Whimsy Sentiment Stamp from the Friendship collection. All the papers are from my stash, I have added a few pearls and a spot of mock stitching.
